This is Freddy! He was a rescue someone surrendered to the store (he wasn’t being properly cared for in his last living situation) .. I went into the store to look for betas as mine had passed away a couple months ago and I was looking to get a another one as I already had a established tank and this guy just so happened to be available… as soon as I brought him home and he got adjusted to his new home he instantly blossomed! Thanks so much to the canton staff for bringing this dude into my life! He is living in luxury and has not shown any signs of aggression!

Lovely staff, enjoy walking my dog up to the store to pick out a new treat once a month. The vital care program does cost 20 dollars a month, but we do get 15 dollars in store credit as well as 10% on dog food and even more savings if ordered online. Taking the dog to the vet and snaping a picture of the bill also gets you 20 dollars. We found it nice to have one place to go for the bulk of our dog needs, and do still find a mom and pop shop to support on the side. Friendly staff and easy to call ahead to check for walk in nail trimmings or grooming.

I got my dog’s grooming done from this canton Petco Ford rd, groomer “Krysta” did such a Horrible job, plz be careful to take ur dog’s to this store for grooming. They cut his whiskers off completely and he is not acting himself. I hope this review will help others

If I could leave negative 1000 stars I would… lazy and unprofessional grooming staff… Make excuses just to fully shave a dog out of pure laziness and lack of heart… run run run far far far away…. Better off shaving your own dog then paying 100 plus dollars here to butcher your dog. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Friendly and helpful staff. Great aquatics department, and many of the employees are fish enthusiasts as well. Even if you are curious about bringing a new animal into the family they can guide you in the right direction, and get you set up with the necessities to best take care of your new pet. They told me that blue ram chiclids get along with certain angel fish which is working out great. The employees are really remarkable and they are a big reason why I’m a huge fan of PetCo in Canton.

Petco on Ford Road in Canton has a large variety of all kinds of pet paraphernalia from food, medicine, toys, grooming supplies and they even offer classes for your dog either in a group or private they are a bit pricey but they offer top quality merchandise. They also have animals fish, kittens, hamsters, snakes and birds all kinds of birds. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they have. I shop here all the time and I highly recommend this Petco.

absolute worst place to shop at. they sold me a ferret that had an underlying health condition and did not tell me upfront which not even three weeks after having him lead to his unfortunate death. do not buy from them especially animals.

I went there at the Canton Petco, around 2:00 today and the young man that was behind the register was so kind and helpful.. it’s a breath of fresh air when there are people that still have that great customer service. I adopted a cricket as a pet yea I know, crazy, but he was so kind, polite and helpful I was very impressed!

Don’t recommend buying a bird from here, bought a green cheek conure about a month ago and she suddenly passed away during the night with no signs of injuries or anything. She probably had a virus going on, and petco didn’t want to get her be seen by a vet. Due to losing money. I researched and a bunch of people are saying that after 1-2 months their birds from petco die. Also mostly green cheeks. This is just sad. I recommend not buying anything from here too.

I’ve brought my dog here since day one & never had a problem, the last 2 times now I’ve noticed he’s terrified to walk in the grooming area. He’ll try leaving the whole time we’re waiting. Very curious how they treat the dogs behind that reflected mirror door. Picking him up last as the girl opened that door I seen all the cages & heard what sounded like a choking sound. Sound I’ve heard before when my dog was tangled up on his leash. Just unpleasant seeing my dog terrified at a place he’s gone 8+yrs. I do know the lady that use to groom him left & started her own thing. I’ve taken him to her once.

The store was out of pro plan, wet cat food. I asked the associate if I could get a rain check for the 20% off total purchase seeing that the merchandise was not available. The associate was kind enough to take my name and phone number, and indicated someone would call me back in the next 24 hours. It’s been 24 hours and I have not heard from anyone. I don’t understand if the merchandise is not available why I automatically would not get a rain check for the coupon when they get a restock. I am waiting for one person to call me, and it hasn’t happened.

Deceitful !! There is a Sale sign directly overGooby dog harness 30% Off, when I went to check out the employees told me it was not part of the sale, I said the harnesses are directly under the sale sign. They told me Corporate is aware of it and did nothing about it. Will be sending to AG Dana Nessel and Hank Williams.

Grooming: scheduled my 6 month old puppy for bathing. Additional fee for longer fur expected. $6 fee to cover “supplies” was not. This fee is to cover shampoo and other products used for the bath. There should not be a separate fee for shampoo when scheduling a dog bath.

I was in the area so stopped by this location, specifically in search of a female Betta to add to my sorority.All the tanks were clean, stocked and free of debris.The cashier was super helpful and friendly.The only suggestion I would have is to move the Betta display more in line with the center isle of entrance to the fish area. While I knew you carried them, it took me a bit to find them.Highly recommend for Betta shopping!! Found my sixth little girl and she loves her new home. 🤗

I love the grooming salon at this Petco! I have an American Cocker and the groomers here always give her adorable haircuts of the highest quality. They are kind people to both their customers and the dogs! My dog Classy loves them too. Overall this is a fantastic place and I highly recommend them for any dog grooming needs.

I've taken my dog here a few times to get groomed and Lauryn has done a fantastic job. She is very knowledgeable on different types of dogs and dog fur and good at explaining everything she does for my good boy.
