usually have a good experience grooming my cat here… but not much else besides that.the scheduling is really messed up. there is more availability for scheduling in the office than when i call to schedule. in office they give me a few weeks later and on the phone i have to do it several months in advance. when i called to schedule, i had a woman on the phone tell me they don’t have availability a few weeks later on the phone, i explained that when i was in the office recently they certainly did i saw the calendar for myself. she then basically told me im wrong and the conversation led nowhere.fast forward to now, i bring my cat in and they take her, take my payment. they ask if she’s up to date on rabies, i take the time to call two different vets and come to find out she very recently passed that date, not long at all. I could’ve just left and not called the vets, she would’ve been groomed. instead they tell me they can’t groom her and they hand her back. I’m pretty frustrated i wasted over an hour of my time driving and coming here when they could’ve kept track of the rabies certificate i initially provided or AT THE VERY LEAST asked for this when i made my appointment not when i waited 2-3 months to bring her in. very bad experience/customer service today.EDIT: amber left me a voicemail saying they don’t have messed up scheduling that it’s just me “misunderstanding” and that what i saw on the calendar was for dogs. that would make sense if it wasn’t for the fact that both of my cats names were being written down with an appointment time, i know what i saw and there are no misunderstandings. i feel the voicemail was left with a smart tone, i was basically blamed for everything and they took no accountability for reminding me about the rabies ahead of time nor about canceling on the spot. not keeping track of rabies certificates in your system in order to prevent wasting people’s time and turning them away without notice IS bad scheduling. this experience pretty much insured my cats and other people i’ve recommended to come here will be going elsewhere ✌🏻

First time coming here and I think I just found my new regular grooming place. They did such a great job on my golden retriever! He got a bath&trim for $75 (+tip for the groomer) which was just about what I expected to pay for a big dog who desperately needed grooming. They trimmed up everything I asked for and were very efficient, plus he came out smelling amazing. I was able to get a next day appointment which amazed me because other places were booked two months out! Very glad I found this place, would recommend! Added 2 before & 2 after photos <3

Carolyn took great care of my cat, Saffron! I brought her in for a bath and nail trimming. She lets me brush her regularly at home and trim her nails, but her coat sometimes gets a little greasy, and she gets dandruff. I last brought her in about 5 months ago, and the last time I did she was very distressed. This time I gave her gabapentin a few hours before her grooming appointment, and she was much more relaxed both in the car and during her appointment. I got her home, and she's relaxed and happy, which lets me have confidence that she was treated with lots of love and care while with Carolyn. I always get so nervous taking my cats to the groomer, but she is doing great, and she's all fluffy and clean! No more dandruff or grease. This is definitely a place I feel comfortable bringing my cats to when they need a groom. My only wish is that they would offer cat only days once in a while. My cats aren't used to dogs.

They do great work. My pup got her first hair cut recently and we took off about 2 - 2.5 inches and they did a great job. The conditioner they use is awesome. she stays nice and soft and very little tangles for up to 3 weeks after. Before and after hair cut pics

I picked peppermint pet parlor based on all of the reviews I found online. I was not disappointed! They did a amazing job making my pup look her very best! The prices are reasonable, it was easy to make an appointment, and the staff was really nice and listened to my request for her haircut

11/10! They are so good with my dogs, one has severe anxiety. They always cut my babies exactly how I ask, and they ALWAYS look so good. All of the staff are super friendly. AND, Once I got home I realized that even my dogs COLLARS were clean - including the velcro bow on our ones collar. Absolutely get your fur baby’s hair trimmed here!

I'm done taking my dog here after today. They literally scammed me. 2 weeks ago my dogs appointment was at 4pm and I wasn't able to make it due to work so I made sure to give them a call early in the morning (HOURS before my dogs appt) to let them know and all Heather told me was that next time I should cancel 24 hours in advance because the workers get paid commission. So I told her that I wasn't aware of that and that next time I will let her know 24 hours ahead of time. My dog had an appt today and so I walked in and ask how much it was exactly and I was told it's normally $45 but they're gonna charge me an extra $25 because "it's a late cancellation fee". First of all If I knew that I wouldn't have even cancelled to begin with. Heather failed to let me know over the phone so I was never aware that they were going to charge me that and that's exactly what I told her. If you failed to let me know then that's on your part. I shouldn't have to pay for something you failed to let me know about. That's unfair and a whole scam. I'm extremely disappointed and will be getting the charged reimbursed because it's not my fault that she failed to tell me over the phone. I'm never ever taking my dog here ever again. And honestly I don't recommend this place, they're so overpriced for a simple wash. I just took my dog to a different place who does walk-ins, $30 wash, and who did an amazing job. If you're still going to this place you're honestly just throwing your money down the drain. You can find someone who can do it better for a fair price, not a place that likes to overcharge and scam people.

Very happy with my experience here, very friendly staff. They make sure to pay attention, and really focus on what you would like done for your fur baby :) they did a great job with my 10 month old Saint Bernard !

I feel like they didn't really do what they said they did. The only thing I could see that was done was nails clipped, belly shaved & trimmed around eyes. Not worth the price they charged me...BEFORE AND AFTER GROOMING APPOINTMENT PICTURES

Very disappointed in the cost of taking my two dogs in for just baths. No nails, no grooming $105I have been taking my dogs for 8 yrs and have never been charged more than $25 for just a bath. They have just lost a customer.

I was terrified to bring my cat in-he is extremely difficult and resistant to grooming. Despite this, they were very patient and did a great job! I would definitely recommend this place to others! :)

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! I wanted to ask the groomer some questions upon picking up our dogs, but she instead hid in the back room and had the cashier grab our dogs and answer questions instead. I realize she did that because she CUT my dog's neck during the haircut, and didn't want us to notice! Nobody said anything about it and I found out when I was at home. This would have been a completely different situation if the groomer was honest about cutting my dog's throat, but instead she didn't address it at all. My dog is extremely calm during haircuts, so I know it wasn't because he was moving around. The cashier working even said that my dogs were well behaved when I asked him how they did. Not to mention, when I walked into Peppermint Pet to drop off my dogs, what I assume to be the groomer who cut my dog's hair was arguing and yelling at other workers. Completely unprofessional.

Brought my sweet cat, Rosie, for the first time. They were very professional and the groomer was great! She took the time to meet with me to make sure all my expectations were met and I was extremely happy when I went to pick her back up. She was in and out in two hours flat and looked happy and relaxed. I would highly recommend this for your pet. I will definitely be back.

Worst night mare ever. Second time at this place. First time was ok.. this time the dog came back so bad looking and traumatized. When asked why they did not follow how we wanted the cut to look like, the groomer did not speak but the manager gave a generic answer saying the dog was so matted and did not cooperate. But later in a while we realized he also had razor burns in his private parts and in few other spots. We ended up taking him to the vet for the razor burns. Definitely would not recommend this place. Think twice before u take your pets here for grooming.

Went here roughly a month ago for the 1st time. Overall the grooming was fine, although a bit more expensive than the other place we used to go, but I overheard a very concerning event. As the cashier went to get my dog, I saw someone in the back room feeding 2 dogs something that looked like bread or hotdog buns, hopefully it was their own dogs and not a customer's. Then i heard someone say "is she choking?", followed by "get that out of her mouth right now", then "do you know mouth to mouth?". Luckily this is when they brought my dog out and I got out of there. Looking back on it, I should have stayed to ask what was going on, but I was just happy my dog was out. I dont know what exactly happened, but it sounds like careless acts by the employees. I will not be returning.

We had our dog groomed with Jamie last week. Our dog is very timid and shy. Grooming is not his favorite past time! Jamie did an excellent job. The haircut is perfection. He looks like a show dog. EVERYTHING about this place is amazing. I have an extremely shy and frightened dog who does love people once she warms up to them, but she’s had a few groomers who have not understood that when I explained it to them, and would try to rush through with her, and end up doing something that was likely frightening and possibly painful, and what do frightened dogs do if they can’t run away? They go on the offensive. She has never bitten ANYONE, but she definitely has snapped her jaws at them while backing up to tell them that she is scared, which is very upsetting because it gives people the impression that she’s aggressive when she isn’t.I brought her to Peppermint Pet because I liked that their site said the founder had a great deal of veterinary experience and also offered cat grooming along with dogs. When I called I explained the situation extensively, and told them we needed someone who was willing to take the extra time with her and listen to our methods of helping her be less nervous. The recommended Melissa, and when we brought Sansa (our dog) in for grooming, my partner came too, and we both introduced her to Melissa and sat with her while she got used to Melissa’s voice and scent. When she calmed down a decent amount, Melissa took her to the back for grooming, and a wonderful sign happened—she actually walked with Melissa without struggling at all. I almost cried I was so relieved.Melissa working with her has been nothing short of miraculous, and even though Sansa is still nervous at first, once she recognizes Melissa, things go much more smoothly! If you have a nervous pet, this is ABSOLUTELY the place to go! Thank you, Melissa, for making my dog’s grooming experience so much less stressful—I can’t ever thank you enough!

Will not ever returned. Shaved my dog down so low and lied about my dog being severely matted. If my dog has razor burns from this, I will be sending them the bill from my vet. Ridiculous. The customer service was terrible.
