Wow! Such a charming spot located in Canonsburg, Michigan. Cozy atmosphere. I love the “Liquor“ flashing sign on the very tip top of the roof. It’s fun to look at all of the old beer taps lining the room. And they have a payphone! Honey Creek definitely has mastered the fried fish and french fries. The pickle soup was flavorful, but a little floury from my taste. I’d probably try it again though because it really was unique. Friendly staff, I really enjoyed my visit.

Very cozy, always busy, always loud but always excellent food and service and even with large groups we never seem to wait long for tables. Absolutely recommend. Rueben and Keilbasa are delicious!Wheelchair accessible ramp is in the back and both times I have been here there has always been a car parked in front partially blocking access. I also don't know when its crowded and waitors squeeze around tables if they are a wheelchair friendly establishment, especially if you have a larger or motorized wheelchair, I don't know how you woukd get around the dining room/bar to a table.Parking: Parking lot is small and usually full but lots of parking in the park across the street.Kid-friendliness: They do have highchairs, however it's fairly busy and loud and not somewhere I would seek out to go with small and/or young children. Definitely has more of a bar atmopshere.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ramp is in the back and everytime times I have been here there has always been a car parked in front partially blocking access. When its crowded and waitors squeeze around tables to I don't feel they are a wheelchair friendly establishment. This was the first time I'd been here since 2022. I had the fried blue gill basket. All I have to say is, that I managed to eat a half pound of it and I devoured it. It was phenomenal! The waitress was the only one working, and it was busy there at 1pm, and she did an outstanding job. Refilled our drinks, checked on us, and was on top of things. I will be back soon!Wheelchair accessibility: I do wish it was more accessible for handicap people. I was there with a client of mine who has a walker and it was tricky, but thankfully she made it up the stairs and I brought her walker up for her. I didn't see another entrance from the parking lot that would have been more accessible to the restaurant.

Outstanding. Only reason I am only giving 4 stars is because I've only been here once. Maybe after a few more visits I'll bump it up. And I will definitely be back! Had the drunken mushrooms for appetizer-- it was so unique and delicious. The kielbasa basket was amazing. The mustard and onion combination with the kielbasa was a perfect combination of flavors. Even the fries are delicious. Can't wait to return and try more food from the menu. Also worth noting, we were there on a busy Friday night and the service was just fantastic--friendly, attentive and efficient.

Went for a bike ride at 7pm around the area and ended up here for dinner. The place is awesome, great staff, great atmosphere, warm space and the food choice is perfect.Small town feel so give them a break if its packed. We are in this all together! Not a fancy place to eat but still good food. I knew they had one chef and serving a lot of people. She did well and I will go back there again!Cheers

Food was good but small portions and is overpriced. Paid extra for fries which were very small in portions. When a sandwich comes with chips they should be homemade or at the least, not the bottom of the bag. Very limited on alcoholic beverages. No alcohol menu except for on chalk board which you can't read unless sitting directly in front of. And, what bar does not have a blender?? Server did not tell us about special. Overheard her telling someone else after we were already done eating. I definitely would have gotten the special had I known. I have had great meals here in the past. Don't know what is going on but it was a big letdown. Also, please pay extra to get laminated menus. No one wants to be handed a dirty paper menu.

My husband and I went last evening for dinner...1st time there. I loved the feel of the place, good service. My husband had a hamburger dinner and he said it was great...unfortunately I picked the chicken tenders dinner, I could tell by looking at my dinner as it was sat in front of me that the chicken was way overdone, very dark brown. I tried a bite and was afraid I might break a tooth it was sooooo hard. I was very disappointed...all the pieces of chicken had been cooked too long. The fries were great though. Not sure, if I would ever go back and try something else to eat though.

Terrific casual dinner and drinks spot at Honey Creek Inn. Enjoyed the Walleye Dinner with grilled brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes along with the Cannonsburg Burger. Did I mention it's a ⅓lb of freshly ground round from the grist mill across the street. Service was too notch, and the bar had a decent selection of scotch and bourbon. Went with the Red Breast 12 year Irish Whisky neat and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend a visit if your in the Cannonsburg area, followed by a visit to the bottle shop next door and a scenic drive home down Honey Creek Rd back to the GR metro area.

Drove about 40 minutes here for the Rubin that everyone seems to rave about. Sandwich was kind of a letdown, hardly toasted, barely any cheese & very little dressing. I did like the shredded corned beef, however the sandwich is mediocre at best. My wife got the loaded fries, which looked amazing on google, but again were a total letdown, bland & missing about 1/2 the ingredients compared to the photo on google, cheese was on the bottom & tasted like it came out of a can.Cozy atmosphere & friendly staff give the place a little credit, they seem to have a long history & loyal following which I can appreciate. If I lived closer I'd probably give it another shot, but defiantly not worth the drive for just the food.

Great food. Cool atmosphere. Great please to go eat after some skiing. Salads we're good, winds were tasty, and the burger looked very good. Happy with service and feel.

Went on a Friday night and had a bit of a wait but it was worth it. We had great food, great service, and there is a decent variety to the drink menu. Nice, quaint atmosphere. Given similar prices and menu options, we would much rather go back here than go to a chain restaurant.

Homemade buns on this juicy mound of double burger goodness with Swiss cheese and olive mayo. Add a hearty green salad and call it perfectly balanced.

This place is sooo great. Really packed at 530pm Thursdays but mostly mature local people which are always welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was the best. Patience with my many questions and never hurrying us to order n free up our booth. We had aps n drinks on a great leisurely pace. French dip n fries is amazing. I had to park on the other side of the alcohol store in the dirt lot n it's raining but they have an excellent level concrete sidewalk. There is zero worry about by large vehicle getting door dings. Honey Creek Inn is awesome !!

A long time community staple, Honey Creek Inn has a solid if unexciting menu. Very good wait staff and service time, decent price points. Tight, mixed seating (booths and tables) engenders either a fun close party vibe or, a bit of claustrophobia. (If sharing space because of COVID concerns is an issue, probably not a good venue for you). Signature smelt basket was disappointing. Fish have shrunk (farmed?) and coating a bit soggy and uneven. I understand they have outdoor tent seating, but did not get a chance to check out. On balance, great little spot if in the neighborhood, but not necessarily a worthy destination drive.
