I had a leak in one of the softner valves that I noticed this morning as I was adding more salt to the system. I called Maynard's as they installed my system over a year ago. They let me know they were short staffed and it might take a while to get someone out to my house. They had someone there within two hours to assess what was going on and what part was needed. They called me back to let me know it would be a few days before they could there to replace part. Later that same day a tech came out and replaced the bad part. All employees and techs involved were knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend them as they obviously put their customers first.

This was my first experience with Maynard’s, and it was a very positive one. We have been having trouble with our water system units, neither of which were installed by Maynard’s. We had sought help from a different company that had fallen short, leaving us with unanswered questions, more problems, and an unreasonably high estimate for a different unit beyond the extremely expensive unit we had already purchased from that same company. After explaining this to a friend, she highly recommended I contact Maynard’s, based on the positive experiences she has had.Bob, the service technician who came to our home, was very respectful, insightful, professional, and kind. He took the time to hear the situation, test the water, assess the problem, answer questions, and provide clear explanations of his observations & options for resolving the problem. His thorough attention to his work, and his evident care for our well-being and understanding of our situation, is what prompted me to write this review. Bob provided the kind of high-quality customer care that businesses were once founded on, but seems to have become less commonplace. If Bob’s service is indicative of Maynard’s commitment to excellence, then like my friend, I recommend them too.

I never leave reviews, but I'm super happy! Was having trouble with my water softener. Messed around with it myself until I gave up. Went with Maynard's because they were recommended by Hellenbrand, the manufacturer of our Iron Curtain filter system. Bob was awesome! Kind and professional. Tested the water, quickly found & fixed the problem (clogged drain assembly) and didn't try to sell me anything. Then he was nice enough to look at the toilets to make sure they work properly and not wasting water. Took time to explain everything. He obviously cares. And charge was reasonable. Should've called them first. It's nice to have someone you trust, I'll be using them again!

This is the first Google Review I have ever written and I hope that it helps someone as much as Maynards has helped me. I ran into an emergency situation where I needed a new water softener in my home and I needed it fast. I called their office and they were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient.I believe this company must have a great culture because every single person I interacted with was wonderful. They solved my problem in a few days during a time in the country when nothing could happen quickly.Their product is bullet proof and efficient. If you need a new water softener or need yours serviced, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not starting here with them.

Justin was very helpful and came out to service my water softener and RO system. I appreciate the transparency with water testing and the time he takes to answer any and all of questions to ensure we have great water that is safe. He was quick and efficient and kept me updated throughout his visit. I appreciate the reminder cards for changing filters too that Maynards sends out. Inquired about an Iron Curtain in order to reduce/remove the stinky smell that wasn't being taken out by our current softener. Justin came out and did tests on our water (no waiting weeks to find out from a sample that is sent away to be tested) and determined that an iron remover would be our best course of action. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly. Did I mention how friendly he is? He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need like another plumbing company had done. There was no sales pressure of any kind. That's something I can really appreciate!We were so impressed with him and Maynard's that we went ahead with the Iron Curtain. Justin came back and installed the unit quickly and professionally and ran us through the setup and operation - in case we ever needed to make any adjustments - which we shouldn't have to.Maynard's offers the option to rent or purchase outright. Nice to have a choice for whichever works best for your situation. We chose to rent - which includes yearly maintenance inspections at no extra charge.I would highly recommend Maynard's for any water issues you have as I truly believe they can quickly solve them.

My husband & I recently bought the house my parents lived in for 15 years in Caledonia, and of course they were Maynards customers and were always happy :) They rented their softener unit, but we wanted to buy it out. Well Bob came to inspect it and was very nice! I asked him about a new refurbished unit and he was very good at giving me information! And the guy who came to install our new unit was Justin. He was WONDERFUL! My husband was at work but Justin taught me so much important information about how the unit works and how to maintain it well but explained things very simply lol. I hope Justin gets a bonus - he deserves it! If you become a Maynards customer you'll be well taken care of by Bob or Justin.

A problem developed with the water softener. I called Maynards, Justin came, diagnosed the problem and offered two options to fix it. It could be rebuilt or replaced. In 2011 we had an issue with the water softener and Maynards had recommended we think about replacing it then, but it has worked fine till recently.I went with the new system, and it has been working great! I don't know if this is related but there were even a couple slow drain problems that cleared up since the new system was installed. Thanks Justin, for an awesome job and all your advice.

We have been a customer of Maynard’s for over 20 years and have always been greatly satisfied. The office staff are well informed and friendly. Their delivery service is convenient and the service technician tests the water each time he comes. They’re knowledgeable and friendly. Chris has been here on many occasions and he’s one of the best! After more than 20 years of working with no issues, my water softener installed originally by Maynard's quit working this past month. With this excellent performance history in mind, I quickly called Maynard's for a service visit. Their technician Justin did an great job of diagnosing the issue and explaining my options. He also took the time to educate me on how the system worked - very fascinating! I decided to have my unit rebuilt and inside of a week it was installed and working fantastic! I highly recommend Maynard's and give kudos to Justin for a job well done!

I found that my water tank was leaking badly after a year of problem free service. I called Maynards and they replaced the tank, replaced the bottle of water all within the same day! They came to me! Later they called to tell me the problem with my tank couldn't be resolved, so keep the tank they had given me on loan. Impressed ?? You bet! Keep up the good work. You'll have me for life!

Love the ProMate 6.5 water softener which was installed in October. It tells you how many gallons remain until the next charge. My plumbing was nonstandard and in a tight location but the installation technician did a great job and had no issues. Price was as quoted. I'm a very happy customer.

We bought our house with a system by another company, I had that company come out to check on what I thought were some minor issues they told me it would be $5000 to refurbish my system which is way high so we left it alone. The system has been working okay for 5 years but we have been getting some sulfur smell after changing to an electric water heater so I asked Maynard’s to come out and check our system after a friend recommended them. Chris came out, did a thorough evaluation and told me everything was working and that he didn’t feel right in quoting us anything but he gave me options to explore on the water heater side. I appreciate their honest approach to their business, although they did not do work for us this time we will definitely use them in the future.

Nathan P. at Maynard's was very knowledgeable and helpful with the installation of the much needed replacement of our old water conditioning system! The updated water softer is so efficient, we didn't need to replace the (old separate) iron filter! Bonus!WE are also so happy with the "Reverse Osmosis" for our drinking water.We highly recommend Maynard's for your water treatment needs!

I'm surprised to see these negative reviews. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences dealing with Maynard's. I had an old softener system in my house when purchased, and was considering replacement to try to improve my water quality. We have high iron content, so things were getting stained after I tried resetting the softener settings based on guesses to the levels of iron. Maynard's courteous & polite technician came out, inspected our system, advised highly on keeping what we had, did a water analysis, reset the unit accordingly, added a cleaner additive to assist in maintaining clear water, and everything has worked great now for over a year. All of this was done (2 trips to the house) for less than $200. I've recommended them to multiple people since.

A technician Justin was very polite and knowledgeable about what I needed for my water softener tank that was damaged by the storm/power surge. I bought a new water softener tank at the local retail store and he came back to installed and instructed me in details. The price was very reasonable and he did not charge the first diagnostic services.He left with complete clean the areas. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Scheduling a technician was handled and Chris Traetz or technician was prompt and able to diagnose the issue with the system quickly. We've had Maynard's soft water system and reverse osmosis system for over 10 years and are completely happy with both service and products. Yesterday Chris changed my filters and, as usual, did a great job. Chris is very professional, yet friendly and pleasant . Like having a friend make sure my drinking water is perfect. I purchased my house15 years ago. It had Maynard's water conditioning equipment installed. When I needed service I contacted them, they came out to the house right away. They always give me approximate times when they are coming and never disappoint. Steve always shows up right on time, happy and put's slip covers on his shoes out of respect for my home. I have never had a problem with the service or the people here. I can easily recommend their service. Pricing has always seemed fair and service is over the top!

We have been going to Maynards for salt since we moved to the area. When we needed service, we were able to get an appointment the same week and Bob knew quickly what the issue was. He went over multiple option to fix the system. We ended up getting the system replaced the following week and it was easy and painless. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. Had Maynards out to our new house to check the water softener and explain its workings to me as this is the first time I have used a water softener. Chris was excellent, patient and very professional as he described the function of each part of the unit to me and showed me what I needed to do. We then went to Maynards store to buy more salt and were again impressed with their drive up service where the employee loaded the salt right into our trunk. What a great merchant to deal with. I highly recommend Maynards and will continue to patronize them.

Great company and amazing customer service! Nate was super knowledgeable and answered all my husbands questions. He installed our water softener a couple days ago and we love it. Not only was he super helpful but he even brought a container of suckers in which my toddler was so happy about! Definitely would recommend this company to anyone!
