DG stores are typically in a pretty awful state. This particular one is the exception to that statement. The place is really well stocked (a true shock) and doesn't have any carts full of stuff to be put up blocking the aisles, another surprise. The employees are very nice and quick to help when you need it. I just wish this one was closer to home.

This manager or clerk at the register did NOT HAVE the extra 50% off clearance signs posted because she said her printer was BROKE!! I Shop this particular dg sale EVERY year and went to 4 different stores yesterday 10/09/21. At this store every single item I got was clearly marked clearence. She got a pack of $1.50 clearance pens and extra 50% did not come off. There where atleast 4-5 customers behind and instead of her over riding the items to reflect the extra 50% she said those particular clearance items were not on sale. I asked her to look up the extra 50% printout and explain to me which clearance items are excluded. After 10-13 minutes she couldnt even find it and decided to ago ahead and over about 5 marked clearence items. I went back to one of the stores yesterday to take a pic of the sign that should have been posted. DG is VERY particular when items are clearence. Some times it will say lawn and garden 70% off. But list exclusions or summer toys and specifically say look for pink square or like right now yellow items are on sale 70% off and white dot items are on sale for 50% off and ALL of that stuff will ring up an additional 50% off. I always shop sales like these and she made a very easy situation difficult and treated me as if I was trying to steal or get items cheaper than what they were. DG has these sale to clear the shelves and promote their NEW stuff. I wasn't embarrassed, but I will stay clear of that store!!

Dollar General does not care about their employees or customers. They don't hire anyone, and then blame the understaffed employees for not putting items out on the shelves. You can't get through the store with a cart, some aisles are blocked off completely.

Joyful. Love the products and prices always have what I'm looking for and within my price range. I don't ever feel anxiety here because it's destiny. I feel joy and comforted by the size and types of folks DG attracts. Destiny.

Our store in Caledonia Michigan offers a great assortment of items. However, they are very short-staffed. Fortunately, the gal and the only gal that was in the store to help us shoppers was very calm and apologetic to us regarding the circumstances in that store this afternoon. Definitely would go back again. Hopefully they will be more fully staffed. I wonder about the youth today.

This store carries a great deal of products compared to other dollar type stores. I can always find something I’m looking for and the prices are negotiable too. Cashier Angela was very friendly to me on my recent visit. The biggest complaints I hear from customers are the store being short staffed and getting upset having to wait for an employee to get to the register but that doesn’t appear to be a fault of the employees and something out of their control.

Closes everyday at 4 pm seriously needs new management. It’s been 8 months of these hours . 8-4pm clearly show this place is to cheap to pay a cent of overtime . Closes 5 hours early before people can get out of work . Literally will go out of business because they are too cheap to pay employees. District managers should be fired next .

One of the best locations. After their remodel, it only further improved. I like the new look they got. Great staff, especially the store manager Amy. I used to work there, you can expect her to keep that place running smoothly and well maintained.

There was stock carts all over on the floor and no one working them. Clearance items all over the place on the floor also. For a Friday it was very hard to find what you was looking for. When I worked at dollar general we was to bring one cart out at a time...for each person working stock. Boy how things have changed. We asked the store manager how much they pay an hour now and she couldn't even tell us the correct amount.

I go here all the time because we live right around the corner. The store always is clean and well stocked. Not run down like a lot of other Dollar Generals. We find random things we need, that we didn't even expect them to have, all of the time. Love it!

This is the worst place to shop, between the rude employees and the mess of the place it’s hard to determine what is less likely to bring me back. I gave the cashier a 10 and got change for a 5. When I pointed this out I was told to learn how to add. My order came to 3 dollars and I was given 3 dollars back. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that I gave the cashier a 6 dollar bill. That was obviously a oversight on my part. No apology just a to bad get out of the store attitude. DONT shop here !!!

This Dollar General is such a disappointment because even when you have such a really good selection of products ranging from top to bottom of everyday and non everyday needs of the average customers needs. With it well known prices ranging most around a sweet $1.00 for most things but your price range is from $0.15 cents to $10.00 dollars with the exception of higher end merchandise like speakers, and gift cards to a full selection of retailers and Gaming system companies. But sadly this store is extremely low staffed to the point of you being able to walk out the door like you bought it and not being stopped cause no ones there working. With shelves looking bare and empty you would say good were selling but no its /because the product is in 10 to 15 shopping carts stacked high and boxes everywhere like they just opened today. So people cant find or buy what they want. And costing the store until amounts of money and customers returning again to a dollar general or to that store only hopefully is all. But the lack of customer service is horrible except for an individual lady with is not only kind but trys to explain and apologize for the store witch in turns makes u want to give it another chance. But this store get a lowly 1 out of 5 stars !!! Visit at your own need trust me lol

I am in this Dollar General at least once a week. All paper products, laundry supplies and last minute adult beverages. Love this place. Great staff too. Always, always a pleasant, helpful shopping experience

Below average in terms of Dollar Generals. Small building, Cramped aisles, and it seems like inventory carts are always in the aisles.

Well we got there at about 8:15ish an it was about 15-20 minutes before anyone came to the register to check out i had to walk around the store an look for someone till they eventually went back up front to help my girlfriend they made such a easy job look hard

The store is a complete mess, there is no way to find anything or even walk down the aisle. The staff is beyond rude and will close at anytime they want to. Personally I will never shop here again. After seeing staff members block the door at 3:50pm (the sign said closing at 5pm), while a mother with three kids was begging to come in and buy one gallon of milk.

Really low prices. Generic brands are just as good, but so much cheaper. A specific checkout person was so nice. Talked with me and my friend while we payed.

I often shop at this store as I live nearby every time I visit the store I believe it is a manager of some kind she is always outside smoking either when I arrive or leave, this particular day she came in from smoking and I heard her complain to the cashier "why do I always catch you on your phone" . Well the manager shouldn't be outside smoking all the time and on top of it I was paying for my things and she is at the register talking with her mouth full of food should the manager always be outside smoking and eating food while customers are coming in and out, as far as I`m concerned thats worse than being on the phone, spewing food out of your mouth while talking isn`t particularly pleasant either

It is a good, clean dollar general. The one thing I have realized over the years Is it seems the store is becoming more crowded and crowded where it can be overwhelming for some.

The place should have been shut down as there was no room to shop. It was dangerous and full of carts with boxes to the top. Literally no room to move.

Lanes are always crowded with merchandise, rarely have what I need and often closes early due to labor shortage. Management needs to get their $hit together.
