short and to the point- love this place but your produce section has been terrible for months now. Veggies only last a day or two because there is so much moisture and mold surrounding every case in this department. Should do a massive clean up. Photos taken June 19th. Would like to still shop here but I can get better produce at literally any other store in the state of Michigan.

Gave up looking for stuffing mix after three employees would not help me look or even check inventory. Deli selection is also very limited. Go to the Family Fare near U of M Hospital. They also have a salad bar and dining area. Also, go to Dunkin Donuts if you need donuts before 6 am.

Absolutely horrible visit! I spent over 200.00, waited in line for 30 min because only one cashier. When it's my turn to check out the lady was rude, slamming thing, angry because my card was not working and bent it. Thank you, now it wont work any where. I called the store, and spoke to the manager, and he explained that she was having a sugar episode, and had been observing her.Why step in for her if she is having difficulties? Instead, let her continue treating customers poorly? So disappointed!

Convenient and easy to find where things are. Made a quick stop here on the way to a Christmas party and was able to grab some sides from the deli. The broccoli salad wasn't great but the bowtie pasta salad was delicious.

I enjoy the Byron Center Family Fare, great place for grocery shopping! Good variety of products and I like the "our family" line of products for affordability.Clean store and good lighting.

Updated:The side drive is in complete disrepair.Fresh produce is low quality and short shelf life. Just don’t purchase it there.Great location with a new Starbucks inside. Staff is away helpful and usually has everything in stock. Short lines and easy transactions.

To give context here, I've never actually entered the store. That being said, my car got stuck in the snow next to the parking lot, and as people were leaving and the night neared 12, every single employee that was leaving was kind enough to walk all the way over to my car and offer up some kind of assistance. Great staff at this location.

Wife and I noticed the camera screens in the checkout, that seems a bit extreme. Maybe spend the money on a faster checkout system , I’m literally waiting on checking items, it’s so slow . Then if you don’t put a bottle on the belt the right way , the system light goes off to alert an employee to come over and clear you. Even though the item showed up on the screen you have to wait to be cleared. I’m sure the employees love running over to the machines on every checkout. We’re done putting our phone number in your system too . You were getting our business, that should have been enough . Going grocery shopping shouldn’t be so invasive, we’re out

Self checkouts are always having issues. The SCO attendant is forced to do 3-4 things at once, so they can never get to you in a decent matter. Prices are higher and would be fine if it paid for help all around the store. So sad this place had declined in customer service and values since I worked there 20 years ago.

When we moved to Byron Center we had to start using a different Family Fare, which is this one. It is set up quite different from other ones but I like most of the selections they offer with things. The staff is really friendly too. We didn't have to wait in a line to checkout either. It's worth paying extra to go here and get in and out rather than have to take a while at Meijer. We will be shopping here regularly. But please start checking on your ice cream and remove the old. We have had it a few time where we get it home and it's old and we have to throw it away.

If you use self checkout on senior day, you will not get the discount you have to go through a check out lane that has a person at it, even if you use your yes card information.

Waited at customer service for over 15 minutes. He told me to wait and proceeded to ring up and go through customer pickup order. I only neededloumo 1 money order. Lousy service!

This is a well stocked store, and it's a smaller company, so I don't feel badly when I spend any money here. I also got my 3year olds birthday cake made here! Amy made a city scape for me so i could put PJ Masks toys on it. My daughter loved it ^_^ Keep in mind that since Family Fare is a smaller company their prices are a little higher, but they also run great deals, so keep your eyes on their ads 😀

Clean store, could gave better variety... Otherwise decent variety of deli prepped dinner meats/fish.. Meat counter help is super patient & kind. Always clean floors, could use better deli behind the counter options.
