We cannot say enough wonderful things about Camp Bow Wow. We lost one of our two dogs, Rogue, to advanced colon cancer at only six years old in December. It seemed to happen over night and unexpectedly. Our other dog, Kylo, was absolutely lost without her and his behavior home alone was so deeply regressed after she passed. He was chewing and destroying things or howling and crying nonstop. But Camp Bow Wow saved him (and our furniture!). He loves “to go see his friends” every week, and when he DOES have to be stuck at home alone, he’s more relaxed and chills out. Aside from the program itself being awesome, the staff are attentive and caring. You can tell they genuinely enjoy the pups and want to do their best by them. I trust them completely with my dog each time he visits and know he is well taken care of and watched closely. I also LOVE the fact I can watch him playing all day on camera. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow in general, but especially this Byron Center location. Your dogs will have a blast and become happier doggos!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE it here for our dogg-o Loki!! They're sweet and loving towards him! They will do a bit of grooming if needed and he kept the clean smell for over a week! Not sure what they use for baths... But it was awesome. Our old pup has dark nails and they did wonder

PET OWNER BEWARE, LOCATION DOES NOT DISCLOSE SHORTENED SUNDAY DAY CAMP. This was my first time bringing my two dogs to this Camp Bow Wow for day camp since we were visiting family in the area for the day. I had spoken to an employee about a week in advance to make sure my reservation was all set and she let me know that they were open from 7-10a and 4-7p. I was ok with that since we were able to drop off and pick up during those times. Come the day of drop off and I go to check the cameras later in the day to watch my dogs around 11:30a… no dogs out. I then check around 1:30p… no dogs out. I go to check again around 2:30p and still no dogs out…I started thinking maybe their cameras are having issues so I call and have to leave a message because they said they’d be closed from 10-4p. I get a call back around 3:30p and they told me it was a split shift day and the dogs only play from 7-10a and then from 4-5p… WHAT??!! So I dropped my dogs off wanting them to play all day as advertised but they ended up only getting about 2 hours of playtime?! I know I shouldn’t assume, but any rational person would think that the dogs were still playing but the lobby was closed to the public… right? A lot of day camps do this, so I thought nothing of it. I think they could tell I was upset because when I went to pick up my dogs the front desk girl told me she only charged me 1/2 day for both of them because of the mix-up. Not anywhere did they advertise that dogs do not get their normal full day of playtime on Sunday’s. Nothing on their website, no notice at the check-in/out area and I was certainly not told verbally. If I would have known this, I would have gone somewhere else. I have gone to numerous Camp Bow Wow locations around the country and this has been my first disappointment with the chain. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS TO DAY CAMP ON SUNDAYS HERE.

We have been using Camp Bow Wow for over 10 years (this Byron Center location since it opened 4+ years ago). The staff has always been friendly and helpful and it shows that they care for our dog's well being. Highly recommended.

Love the attention our dog gets at Camp BowWow Byron Center. From being at camp for just the day to an overnight, we always feel comfortable knowing the great care Bella gets. It’s also fun checking in on her with the online camera during her stay. She comes home completely exhausted...which is two thumbs up for us!

The people at this location are great to work with that truly care about your pets. One of our dogs re-opened a cut while there and they called to notify us right away, cleaned and wrapped the area and checked in on her frequently. It meant a lot to have such great care over something so small because I have heard some horror stories at other kennels who do the exact opposite. Thank you Camp Bow Wow Byron Center!

Willa always has a blast whenever she visits Camp Bow Wow for doggie day care or overnight boarding! We're able to check in on her throughout the day using the webcams and we know she's had a good time when she doesn't get off the couch the rest of the day. It's extremely easy to make a reservation and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I love checking out the event calendar and seeing all the fun activities planned for the pups for the month. Overall, we've had a fantastic experience with Camp Bow Wow!

My dog Luna always seems to have a great time at Camp Bow Wow Byron Center! Her being around the other dogs and employees is really helping her improve her social skills. The staff is great and I feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby in their care!

Great place to take your dog for daycare or overnight!I was nervous about leaving Bailey there because she is more of a people person (she is old and shy) but the staff there took excellent care of her. There is always someone in the play area too!When she stayed overnight, I requested that she get a bath, I picked her up and she smelled so good :)

We always love Camp Bow Wow, regardless of what location. The team there is always super friendly, helpful and caring for our dog, Harriet. We've been loyal to CBW a few years now and were excited the Byron Center MI location was so close to our home when we moved here.Location is clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly.Will definitely continue bringing Harriet here. She loves it!

My pup has been going since opening day, he goes 4 days a week and comes home ready for a nap every time. He feels right at home with the staffers and I feel good about leaving him in their care since they clearly love all the dogs. Having the camera to check in on my dog is another thing I love about camp bow wow. This camp is clean and staffed with a great group of people that make your and your dog feel like a part of a family. Recommended to anyone in need of day care or boarding services.PS also highly recommend the blueberry facial, your dog will never smell better! Haha

I like the fact that there are live cameras and you can spy on your puppers. My dog seemed happy feed as per instructions . The staff friendly, and great with pets.

We've only just started bringing Chloe to day camp, but we hope to continue to build up her confidence and comfort around other dogs so that she looks forward to visiting and will be more comfortable if and when we need to board her overnight.

Camp Bow Wow Hudsonville provides great care and compassion to its "Campers". The Camp very carefully monitors the dogs in each play yard to be certain that there is no troublesome behavior and that each dog is in the appropriate play yard given its size and temperament. The Camp employs people who have a love for dogs and ones that will give the needed attention to the dogs whether in a play yard or in a cabin. The Camp also has strong cleaning policies to protect the health and safety of your fur babies. The owner, Alicia Offringa, is a wonderful manager and very committed to her business. I would give this doggie day care center an A+.

*Response to camp bow wow:I am shocked that you would make such a false and arrogant claim. I understand it’s common for people to fall victim to places like this, heck I did(one of my few regrets in life). Some people have standards for the care of their pets. Those people do not take their pet to camp bow wow. I just wish more people with horrible experiences voiced there experiences vs people being pressured to write positive reviews to mask the reality of this place. The response to my previous review by camp bow wow is even “cringe worthy”. My dog regularly attends AMC of Wyoming, Kim’s k9, and whiskers pet spa/day care and has for 4years. These places are absolutely incredible(over 250 visits combined and not one issue) . From the professionalism and transparency of the staff and owners to the commitment of building and maintaining a healthy, safe, CLEAN and STRESS FREE ENVIRONMENT for all dogs. A company culture that is non existent with camp bow wow. If you take your dog to camp Bow Wow and they come home and are extremely thirsty and fall right to sleep, it’s not because they were having a wonderful time playing /standing with a dozen(s) other dogs. It’s because they were locked in a pen with a dozen(s) of dogs in an extremely stressful and anxiety ridden environment. With many dozens of doggy day cares in the area(all of which are far superior to camp bow wow) and history of camp bow wow, it’s a no brained why they are so desperate for customers and the amount of marketing, fake reviews, cheap yards signs tossed all over the city shows this. I would expect the retention of customers here is very low, probably the lowest in west Michigan. Hopefully the state/attorney general shuts this place down soon and charges the owners as appropriate. Since my original review, I have met at least 6 people who share very similar experiences to mine. That’s now 100% of people I met that have brought their dog there at least 4-5 times.Don’t be mislead or fooled. If you are a good dog parent you will at least explore alternative options to camp bow wow.Original review: Horribly ran business. Very unprofessional. They're many dog daycares in the area. I strongly suggest not making the same mistake I and many other have. Stay away!

My dogs LOVE coming to Camp Bow Wow and we love that they love it! The dogs come home happy and tired from playing all day. The staff are wonderful! They look out for the dogs there, making sure dogs get breaks from other dogs when necessary. They always great me and my dogs with a smile!

Great place good people but always short staffed. There's not enough employees to take care of the dogs. (So less play time) Unfortunately they only get paid 10.50 an hr.For what we pay to board they really should pay more...

This is a brand new Camp Bow Wow! They offer so many amazing daycare and boarding packages, including day to day. The entire staff are passionate about dogs, and it shows. From the cozy, safe cabins, to the all day play dates, every pet is in for a treat! They offer baths, and so much more, and with cameras in every yard, you can feel safe and happy to leave you four legged family members for sure!

Super easy drop off. Wonderful and caring staff waiting to take your pup to their yard to play. Web cams to check on your fur baby during the day. All of these make it easier to leave your pup for the day. Just an all around great place with amazing staff!!!

The staff at Camp Bow Wow in Byron Center is AMAZING! They are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable when it comes to these pups! I love that there are enough staff to keep their eyes are the dogs and that there is plenty of space for the dogs to romp and play. My Luna absolutely LOVES CBWBC and I can't imagine taking her anywhere else now.

The employees are very nice. My pup is having a hard time getting orientated to the whole thing. I brought her here so that she can mingle with other dogs and use up some of her energy, however she seems to sit at the gate to the room the whole time (5 hours). When we get home she almost immediately has the "zoomies." I would love to see the employees play with the dogs a little and maybe help the shy ones get used to it. Some of the employees seem to have a favorite that they might pet, otherwise they are constantly walking around, not paying much attention to others. Am I partial to my little girl, absolutely! I check the cameras A LOT and also have friends and family that check it out so I like this availability to see how she is doing.The business is kept very clean also which is a plus. We are trying 10 half days so we'll see how things go for my little girl.
