Honestly if I could give this place a million stars I would. I had a bad experience at a precious vet who blew off my concerns for my cat Charlie. He kept having issues that got worse, so I had to call Byron Center, and boy, am I so glad I did. These people loved on him, they went ABOVE and beyond and wanted to help him feel better STAT!! The vet, techs and receptionists were so sweet and even brought me a toy for him. They asked me before every test if it was okay, with the vet even saying “I want to check to make sure and rule anything out.” They even gave me a comprehensive treatment plan for him and gave me all the goodies and instructions necessary, even with the vet tech showing me how to use them. They answered all my questions with patience and made a follow up appointment in case this treatment plan doesn’t help. Having a sick pet has been really emotional for me, and having this staff care so much and so deeply and help me make an action plan to help my guy feel better means so much. This place is such a blessing and I am so grateful they got me in the same day. The price for a visit was really great and transparent, and they asked my permission for any extra cost. I cannot recommend them enough. And thank you to Dr. Clara for being awesome!! ❤️❤️

I am very impressed with Byron Center Animal Hospital. The staff was very friendly and helpful at 1:00am. Dr. Gary Ryder was phenomenal with my Chihuahua and her birthing process and ultimate c-section. Communication was excellent, constant updates and very informative. Answered most questions before even having to ask. Dr. Ryder made sure I was involved with all decisions being made. I appreciate his professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to return.I was hesitant to go to an emergency clinic. I have had horrible experiences prior to this but now I have a different outlook.Thank you Dr. Ryder and staff at Byron Center Animal Hospital

My kitten was treated like the queen she is at Byron center animal hospital. Everyone that interacted with her was kind, gentle, and seemed like they loved her as their own. It warmed my heart to see. She even got a little kitty yogurt treat to snack on while she was getting looked over. Use this place, it’s fantastic!

The staff at Byron Center Animal Hospital are amazing! We were very nervous bringing my dog during a scary episode. They took great care of him, and they also took great care of us by walking us through what to expect and providing updates on his care. I highly recommend them!

The staff were incredibly friendly, listened well to my concerns, and took as much time as needed to take care of my cat and myself. They've been flexible about setting appointments and have had excellent "bedside" service with my little blind kitty every time she's had to go in. I will absolutely be taking all of my cats to this location for any further needs. It's worth my peace of mind and my cat's safety to be with a business that puts the animal first. Go here, you won't regret it.

I'm sad to mention that our family dog tug got to the a very old age. The quality of his life was just not the same as it was for him as he had lost most of his vision, and a great deal of his hearing was gone also. We decided it was time to take him to Byron Center Animal Hospital and have him put down.The staff at the hospital was very friendly and caring they helped us through the process and were very down to earth. We said our last goodbyes and when it was over. We walked away with a sense of peace, knowing that we did the right thing for our beloved dog, and thanks to the caring staff, we went home with tears still streaming down our cheeks, however.We knew and had the peace in our minds and hearts that our that the whole process was painless for our Dog.Thank you again.I would like to recommend Byron Center Animal Hospital.

Dr. Osborne is amazing. My dog cut his leg open and we rushed him here. They took him to the back upon arrival and let us know we could go home and they would text us updates. She texted with me the entirety of my dogs visit, keeping us updated on how he was doing, and made this stressful situation so much better. The staff and techs treated him amazing and I can tell all have compassion for animals. Thank you :)

One of my dogs was experiencing severe itchiness. I called on a Tuesday, and Byron Center Animal Hospital got us in on Thursday. Dr. Jen was wonderful! She and her assistant, Kyle, handled both dogs expertly. She gave us a lot of information and several options for treatment. The price we paid was reasonable.We will definitely return to this veterinarian!

This was the first time I actually felt listened to in terms of what my cat needed! Right away when I told the technician that Kevin gets car sick she asked if I would like to get some motion sickness medication for him— this is the first time in my 10+ years of owning him and struggling with him getting car sick that anyone has asked me. The excellent care continued when, although my cat was in a very bad mood, the doctor and technician made a second attempt (that was successful!) because an X-ray showed that there was more going on than initially thought.The fact that they knew how important it was to get his bloodwork done then rather than wait another week when he would be in a better mood meant so much to me! The appointment lasted over an hour, but for the first time he got the care he needed.

We are new to the area and my boxer got very sick. I called many vets to get her treated and they were either not accepting new clients or had a several month wait list. I waited hours for the emergency vet to call me back. I called Byron Center Animal Hosp. and they were able to see me immediately. They explained what everything they were doing would cost and everyone there was extremally friendly and attentive. I will not go anywhere else. They are the best!

Had an urgent visit and was able to get in right away! The staff was super nice and explained everything. My cat’s surgery happened the same day and cost a lot less than I was expecting. I’m so glad I called them. Poe will be in great hands with this team!!

180° difference from the other vet I came from! I worked many years in the field and the team here really made me feel like my knowledge is actually worth part of our discussion over my pets! I truly appreciated that! Dr. Clara and Brooklyn were fantastic and to have Dr. Clara PERSONALLY call me in regards to food review of my cat?!?! *Chefs kiss* What a difference! Definitely excited for the future of this hospital!

Professional grade services at a reasonable cost, with a genuine concern for your pets’ wellbeing… I appreciate their approach towards the me as well, every person there from receptionist, to assistant to veterinarian had excellent tact. I also appreciated that they took a few minutes to confirm my intent and understanding etc. I would comfortably and confidently recommend Byron Center Animal Hospital !!!

Everyone is so helpful and kind. I can tell they truly care about our dog and helping him to be healthy. We have loved everyone there. They walk us through what it could be and give us options on how we can go about the different issues. Out of the 3 other places we have taken our dog to the vet, they are by far the best vet.

Byron Center Animal Hospital saw our dog right away when he was having issues. They made suggestions on tests and explained all costs and options. They checked up on our dog several times afterward to see how he was doing. I would highly recommend! They genuinely care and are very fair!

This is Eclipse and she is quite skittish, but friendly. I've always had a bit of a struggle with introducing her to new people, but she adores the staff here every time we visit. Eclipse and I have been a client here since I adopted her from the shelter about a year and a half ago. I highly recommend taking your pets here, and any future pets I have will certainly be brought into this facility. The lovely staff are so understanding going above and beyond for me as a client. I am seeking a career in the vet tech field, and without hesitation they offered to take the time out of their busy schedule to answer all my questions over my time with this facility. Not to mention the very affordable prices and top notch professionalism. You guys keep up the great work! We're excited for our next visit!

Took my bearded dragon in because she was not eating and very lethargic. Supposedly they did an exam and found nothing (they take dragon into back to do exam) and said everything looked good. Here we are several weeks later, she's stillnot rating, losing weight and I saw yesterday her entire mouth is yellow! If they would have done an exam they should have see this. But no, $250 dollars for nothing and was told everything was fine! This could have been prevented but now my dragon us dying!!

We brought our 2 kittens in for health evaluations and shots. The staff at the clinic was friendly and treated our new babies with love. The Vet was knowledgeable and took good care of our girls. We will be bringing them back for all their health needs.

Our needs were addressed without ever being there before. Kind staff very accommodating. Dr. Phoebe was the vet that took care of my dog. She had a great bed side manor She explained what was wrong and did some tests. I was very reassured that my pet would be OK. They were also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

First few visits were just ok but my latest visit was great. Lauren is an awesome vet tech and my pup did great with her (has shied away from other techs in the past). Lauren did a great job with taking time to educate me about my dog's health and answering questions. My philosophy with my dog's medical care is prevention, not really interested in treatment. In the past I have felt really pushed/judged by the vets to pursue specialist care that I'm not interested in but this visit was better.

I should do more reviews, but the truth is that I don’t do enough. However, the quality of people and service at Byron Center Animal Hospital compels me at the strongest level; I should have completed a review for them a lot sooner. I’ve been going there for a few years and they have the most wonderful staff - professional, knowledgeable, they explain everything very well, always kind caring, loving to your pets (who are family members and they view them as family members), supportive of what’s best for you and your family…the list could go on. They have a great environment over there. I’ve gotten to work with pretty much all of the staff over there and I’d hate to see any of them leave for any reason. I’ll be going there for as long as I’m living here.
