They need to stop relying on my wife to always covering them because their manager don’t know how to vet the employees that they are hiring constantly having ones quit that taking time away from our family and don’t care one way or another that store wouldn’t be where it’s at if they weren’t riding on her back to get there she’s the true Manager there cause she’s the one who does everything this is getting really ridiculous. And if the Manager can’t do the job right then they need to step up and replace her and find someone who can I don’t care if she’s been there the longest she ain’t got the leadership qualities or experience the best candidate and all she gets out of of it all is I appreciate it don’t get the money she’s worth definitely don’t get the rest she needs she’s only got 2 other employees their that help take the work load off her and I’m very thankful GOD has the two with her and watching over her.

This location is my go-to! They always have my dog's food in stock, their favorite treats in stock, and small rats for my snake in stock. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. If I have any questions, they usually have an answer, or they do research to find out the answer for me. This location offers shot clinics for very reasonable prices. The dates and times are displayed on an easel outside of the store. They have everything that you could possibly want for any kind of animal. WARING: A negative to this store, make sure you check the expiration dates on their reduced price items. Most of the time, their reduced price items are out of date by 1-2 years, which isn't safe for any animals to consume. I have brought this to multiple staff members' attention, and they still haven't corrected this issue.

Love this Magoo's!! Always have what I'm looking for, especially for my birds. Veronica is absolutely amazing. She always takes time to answer my questions and concerns about my birds. No one else I ever asked had the knowledge like she does. She is always friendly and super helpful!! Y'all have questions or concerns she is the go to at this location!!

Magoos is my first pet store I go to. They offer a supersaver isle with marked down items. I love that! They also have a pet food bag point system on normal food bags. The people are nice that work there. The only star marked off is for the prices on the normal shelves they are higher than other stores, and their fish selection is small. Also they aren’t as able to keep the saver isles stocked with items and some of them are not a saver price at all.

I always enjoy shopping at Magoo's Pet Outlet. The staff are so knowledgeable & have always answered ALL of my questions. When I take & implement their Advice, they're right on the money. They have helped me fix every issue with my dog, YAY!❤️

They have live feeder rats and I got one for our ball python. However, she decided she's on a hunger strike and wouldn't eat. The manager at Magoo's was understanding, took it back, and gave lots of helpful information to improve the enclosure to encourage a successful feed in the future.

It's ok kinda small now that it's in the court land center. I have a beardie so I needed some crickets and they are 3$ for 2/dz but they didn't last but a day. Most of them were dead the next morning of which I have a special cage set up just for crickets. Made it a waste cause he will not eat dead crickets. This is the second time this has happened so even though it is a way closer option for me than other pet stores I'll spend the extra time going somewhere else from now on. The people were very nice though.

Please do not buy fish from the store. Do not support this companies cruelty and neglect towards their fish. I was in at the Courtland Mall location on 3/27 and was absolutely horrified at the condition of their fish. This was not the only fish, nor the only tank, that has been completely taken over by ich and the fish are suffering. UPDATE - Another visit, more dead and sick fish 6/15. Do not support this businesses sale of fish.

Few months back I bought a corn snake only to come home the other day and find she had passed. Come to find out that the "quirks" she had (and were done in front of the employees) were actually signs of an obstruction that I wasn't told she had so I didn't know to take her to the vet. The employee seeing her acting like this and act like it was normal only for me to get attached and lose her makes me sick. Between this and other reviews, employees need better training if they're taking care of living beings who feel pain. My household will no longer be shopping for anything here at Magoo's anymore until it is proven that their protocol for animal care improves.Adding an edit to my review to add a response, I never expected a diagnosis, but there is no way she was checked before returning to her enclosure or I wouldn't have had this problem. You didn't even acknowledge her and you're just doing damage control and I'm disappointed. If everyone in the building cared for these animals "just the way I have" then there wouldn't be other reviews of animal neglect and abuse on top of my story. I will most definitely not be returning.

Terrible management! Made their 18 year old employee get into the dumpster outside to retrieve a bag of dog food that had been disposed of the night before to return to the shelves. When confronting the store manager (I'll leave her name out) with dark hair, fake eyebrows and face piercings, she smiled, smirked and didn't seem too concerned about the fact that there is animal feces, garbage from the public thrown into the dumpster, drug use on the sidewalk out side of the mall, nor did she care that it was a humiliating situation and actually had another new store employee assist with the situation. To treat employees like this is a disgrace and inhumane.

There's way more choices than PetSmart for toys food and treats.Staff was super friendly and helped me find a good food choice for my puppy and were thrilled to have my puppy come in. I'll definitely be going here more often.My lil Tofu loves his lil beer 😂

I like their food choices for my dogs, I always find dog and cat snacks really cheap. Pedigree mint dental​ biscuits $.75 /bag (30/bag) and kitty ones for $.34. They may be outdated but they are sealed and smell fresh. My dog and cats won't eat something that's not good. They are pretty picky.

Very displeased with the attitude of one of the employees when I told them there was a dead lizard. She acted like she didn't care at all and acted like I was being dramatic when I was just letting her know. Also the fact that the lizard was dead is a bit ridiculous.

This is a great pet supply store, and they provide great customer service. My dog loved the pig ears, My frogs loved the crickets, and my cats love their toys! I've been shopping here since it was at the old location, for many years!

If I need anything for any of my pets I go to Magoos first because they are cheaper but still have quality products. Also, if you need crickets GO TO MAGOOS!! Dottys offer 12 crickets for $2.99 and you get 24 at Magoos for the same price. Magoos is just a better choice, they don't mark up their prices like other stores.

This location is by far just awesome. I have never had any issues whenever I come here. The manager named Nell was exceptional. She was so helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. We definitely need more people like her In customer services. If no one else tells you this I appreciate you especially in these trying times. Thank you so much. She definitely deserves a raise.

My husband & I went in yesterday for the very first time & was so impressed having SO much toys & accessories for any pet you may have. More of a selection than PetSmart or Walmart. We currently have 2 dogs & want to get a Chinchilla. Unfortunately, the wait line was super long + a long wait since there was only 1 girl checking out people & the other girl working was just standing up there not trying to help with the line of customers otherwise I could Magoos 5 stars.

I go to Magoos in Burton because of an employee who helps me with everything for my dogs. When they're sick, or have an issue I can't handle Veronica helps me figure it out! She's the reason I shop there.
