ATM located inside for that CASH MONEY. Cigarettes and vapes are sold. Gas outside for under $3/gallon. Ice cream small and large size are sold. Pure maple syrup and artificial maple syrup.You get the picture… the Buckley General Store has generally every consumable product we all love. 😎

I would like to have left a 5 star. This was going to be my new store because I prefer mom and pop shops over corporate. I stopped in two days ago and the young man was very nice. I stopped by tonight with my fiance on our way home for work. We did not enter the building together. I went to the counter and the lady working was polite. I then asked for two Scratch off lottery tickets to go along with my purchase which then I was asked if I was paying cash. I responded I am paying with my debit card. She then states they are not allowed to sell scratch off tickets unless the customer is paying cash and proceeds to tell me how dumb of a rule it is. I then say no problem I can stop elsewhere and that the rule was weird and that I have not had an issue buying them elsewhere with my debit card. I then go to the car and wait for my partner. He gets in with his purchase our pops, snacks and he purchased scratch offs. I said I am going to stop elsewhere and grab a cash word lol I don't have cash on me. Then he says I don't either I paid with my debit card. I said really because she would not allow me to buy them with my card. So I went back in and asked why she allowed him but denied me. She apologized and then offered to sell them to me. I refused at this point because one she's buying tickets herself at work or two she's sexist. Three stars for politeness which I really wanted to leave a one star but that would not be fair to the young man two nights ago. I won't be back.

I don't usually leave reviews but I just wanted to say I appreciate how every morning the workers are always super nice and help everybody get out in a timely fashion even when they are super busy. :)

Worst costumer service ever. Lisa is a real winner here. Treating customers like garbage bc a three year old needed to use the restroom before she had an accident in the front entrance way bc they refused to let her use bathroom bc she was too busy arguing with everyone around her. I have never stepped foot in such a joke of a business in my life. Highly recommend getting new employees. Take your business elsewhere.

Everyone working here is always so friendly and polite, even when they have a long line, they still take the time to strike up a conversation with you. The selection of merchandise in the store is superb, and they always have just what I need. It's awfully nice not having to drive 12+ miles up to the next nearest stores.

Love this place! Cheapest gas in northern Michigan! Seriously. Always 10-20 cents per gallon cheaper than anyone around. Full grocery store inside with beer cave and liquor selection. Can get food like chicken fingers, potato wedges, jalapeño poppers hot and fresh. If you come for the antique tractor show make sure to stop and refuel here!

I don't need to Google it, I'm intimately familiar with it. But thanks for your display of rudeness after I filled my tank up by paying at the pump then came in to buy a snack on a separate purchase. Debit transactions cannot have a minimum purchase limit imposed.Maybe you should "Google it" as you told me to while raising your voice and aggressively stepping around the counter toward me. Top result from a Google search:"Merchants often lose money on small credit card transactions after paying their credit card processing fees. ... However, if a merchant imposes a minimum more than $10 or requires a minimum on debit card purchased, you can choose to report the merchant to Visa or Mastercard."

They have a pretty good selection of things. Nice to not have to drive to Cadillac or Traverse city for something simple like bread or milk etc.
