Atmosphere AND customer service? What a win! My daughter and I stopped in for a quick brunch. We had a bowl of tomato basil soup and a deluxe grilled cheese. It was complete perfection. This is the food you expect in a 5 star fancy cafe. The shop is adorable. The staff is friendly and the food omg . We also ordered iced mountain mint mocha coffee that was amazing as well. We will be back

Was out and about running errands, and found myself especially hungry yesterday morning, so I stopped into this cute little spot by the name of Union Coffee House & Cafe. Feeling the need for a pick-me-up, I opted for some coffee as well as a bite to eat.Today, I picked up The Love Affair latte, which has in addition to espresso has vanilla, almond, and nutmeg. With the vanilla and almond being more subtle flavors in the drink, it really allows the space for the nutmeg to be the star of the show in this delicious love triangle. Used oat milk for the base to make this a wonderful plant-based option.In between sips, I also enjoyed a carrot muffin, baked to soft perfection. For a vegan muffin, it was actually one of the better ones I've had. Oftentimes they can be a bit dry, but this little pastry was baked to perfection. With an earthy sweetness from the carrot, this muffin paired very well with The Love Affair for a great start to my day. Looking forward to stopping in again!Vegetarian options: Muffins and assorted bakery items are vegetarian, some muffins are vegan.

Stopped in twice while visiting MI. My iced mocha with oat milk hit the spot! Also ordered the black bean avo toast and vegan carrot muffin, both delicious! I loved the interior and exterior of the building; it once operated as a bank. Cool vibes. Friendly staff.

We loved our visits to Union Coffee House & Cafe! I am celiac so it's vital to eat gluten free. They have gluten free options, including bread for sandwiches. My favorite is their salad with goat cheese, walnuts, cranberries and balsamic dressing on mixed greens. It's so good I can't order anything else! It's harder to find lunch options with many small businesses being closed Monday and Tuesday around here, but they are open every day till 4:00!Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and have had delicious selections at the Union Coffee House & Cafe with no problems.

This is my favorite coffee shop to stop at when I am in town. It has a great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, excellent coffee. It is a place where you can grab a cup of coffee and go, or you can hang out for a while. They even have a selection of books and games for you if you wish to use them. It's definitely a place to go if you are in the area. I will continue to keep coming back.

My new fav spot for meeting hubby for lunch. Staff is great. Old building with high ceilings has an old fashioned feel to it. Bright space with windows flooding it with sun light. Chalkboard signs add charm. Coffee and beverage specials change regularly. I love anything with their house made lavender syrup! The food is fresh and tasty but I wish more variety and specials were offered. The Shag Toast is delicious!! Heading there for lunch NOW!!

Love this coffee shop/cafe! I travel to Buchanan for work so whenever I am here, I make sure to come for my favorite almond milk chiller and salad! I love this cafe so much. It has amazing drinks AND food so good place to stop for breakfast or lunch too. Highly recommend!! Xx

We stopped in this afternoon and had such a wonderful experience! Our Barista, Ryan, was so friendly! Not only did she provide us with excellent service and fantastic drinks, but we also loved chatting with her! It’s a special thing for first time customers to immediately feel like they’re being treated as long-time-regulars. Loved the environment, the cinnamon rolls were great, highly recommend stopping in here!

Hidden gem in Buchanan. Friendly service and amazing scones. A wide variety of menu items and different coffee choices. It is a nice place to catch up with a friend. The bagel is filling as it comes with a lot of vegetables in it. Definitely if your in the area try it out. They have also a great selection of bakery items. Thanks AFIA for reintroducing me to Union Coffee.

Adorable coffee shop in a unique building, perhaps an old bank? Very friendly service and great breakfast options. Our group of weary travelers wandered in and ordered the following: lemon pecan quinoa salad, caprese bagel, ham sandwich, a few coffees, hot chocolate (piled high with whipped cream) and, most importantly, a raspberry baked dessert of some sort - all was fabulous! This may be a minor distinction for some, but I also loved that hot drinks were served in unique, mismatched mugs from unicorns to Superman. We were all pleased with our visit and would highly recommend.

100% my favorite coffee house. And I do emphasize the “house” feel. It feels more like a coffee home then a Starbucks. Its got a beautiful small town feel and a wonderful authentic menu including drinks and food!One of my favorite places to get caught up on work and get out of the office for a break.

I love their Chai Latte. Service is always great here. Lots of healthy food options, including vegan and vegetarian. Nice atmosphere to sit and catch up with friends over coffee or lunch. It's a corner building, so lots of natural light streams through the windows. They offer both high and low table seating, and and bar table against the front window for those who like to watch traffic. Highly recommend!

I was indecisive over what to order and the lovely barista mentioned a matcha lemonade with raspberry flavor, and it sounded too good to be true, and OH MY GOODNESS it was the best drink ever. The lemonade was so sweet and with a little bitter green matcha taste with a delicate raspberry tang -- ah, poetry in a beverage. Changed my life, 10/10. The stained glass by the entrance is nice.
