It's a nice place and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was a bit upset when I went to get some gear lube and found it was $14 and change for a quart. I'll always choose a privately owned business before a chain store but I draw the line at ridiculous prices like that. I got it at Rural King for under $8 per quart.

Always love going to Redbud Hardware! Workers are always very friendly and helpful.I am someone who is the opposite of a handyman, but whenever I go to Redbud Hardware they are more than happy to give me advice and help me find the best product for the project.The owners have a heart for the community and do a great job managing this store. I would highly recommend this store to anyone (and make sure to grab some free popcorn while you are in there).

Do not underestimate this small town store! The selection & variety of their inventory will surprise you. I've discovered products that perform better than those commonly stocked elsewhere, and even found odd size hardware, that larger stores didn't carry.The staff are friendly & helpful, and often offer tips for completing my repairs/projects. How convenient to have everything you need so close to home! (Its always a treat to see Peat too!)

The service is always excellent. They greet you, ask if they can help you and go get the item for you. They carry the only "metal Flying saucer",in the South Bend Metro area, that doesn't break and crack when your kid goes down the snowhill.Free popcorn and a kindly dog. The service, free popcorn and the dog,make you feel like you are shopping in a time gone by.Best service with good prices.

I support small business! This store has a nice variety of products! Their paint, Pratt & Lambert is excellent. The do it best Ceiling paint is also a good paint. Very Helpful, and Friendly staff!

Very friendly and helpful staff, I have been going to this store since I was a little girl, back then it was fot the popcorn and sweet lovable dog!😊 Now it's more to purchase items I need for my working on or improving my home! I consider this place like a mom and pop store or family owned..Love these kinda places you can always find a interesting gadget or a tool that the big box places don't carry! Although you pay convenience prices its worth it

Always helpful, super friendly, and they actually know answers to questions! Good luck finding anyone at Lowe's, HD or Menard's who even know where things are in the store. Keep your $$$ in your own backyard and support your local hardware store.

Just moved to Buchanan had never been in the store. I needed an odd size screwdriver and they had it. Small town hardware store with everything you need.

Great local hardware store has almost anything you need from home repairs to tools, gardening and beyond I have never had any negative experience with them and they even have a loyalty rewards program check them out if you get time to they might just surprise you....I know I sure didnt expect much when I first needed parts for project but am happy to have found them!

Old school. They have everything and if not it can be delivered on Thursdays. Also you don't need to wander around for 20 minutes if you're looking for something specific. Plus great people working there!

Free popcorn, how can you go wrong. This location closed and was re-opened by the current owners, the staff is great and the selection is decient and if you don't need it now I'm sure they can get it. Take a look at the old fashoned soda offerings, interesting selection
