This is a treasure. Everything is made fresh and homemade. The cream of cauliflower soup was amazing!! Definitely recommend stopping. Our waitress was excellent and very personable. We happened in on Friday, which is when they have fish fry, we all got perch, and it was great. The fries were not stellar but certainly good enough. They also came with a salad, which tasted fresh.I neglected to take a picture of my fish. The breading seemed a bit dark, but it tasted like the oil was not overused and not burned.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a wheel chair ramp. There are 4-5 awkward angled stairs inside the front door, which make entering a little difficult for those who have trouble with stairs and nearly impossible for a wheelchair. I did not look at the back of the building, but there was a back door, so I could have missed a ramp.

We saw the restaurant down the street from M-28, and decided to try it. Glad we did, since the food was excellent and inexpensive , and the server was very friendly. There were quite a few customers, but we didn't feel rushed. It reminded me of old town diners where the customers and diner workers got along great with each other.Chicken gyro was very good!

We've been visiting family in the area and eaten here every day. No disappointments. Everything has been fantastic. Order anything with the hollandaise sauce. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. Coffee is ground fresh several times a day. Lots of funny signs and sisu.

Stopped in at this cafe on a road trip along the UP. It was at the perfect time to break up.our road trip in a small town along the way. We got there within an hour of closing and it was busy with lunch goers! Clearly a popular local spot as well as a great stop in on the road. The space felt welcoming and homey, with a great friendly waitress and comfortable tables to sit at. The food was perfect, each of our party having sandwiches that were hot, fresh, and oh so tasty. Had we still been hungry it sounds like the pie would have been a must as well! This turned out to be the perfect stop and a cafe I would readily go to again!

The homemade whole wheat bread along with my veggie omelet probably was the best I’ve ever had at a breakfast place. The omelet was light and fluffy and not overly stuffed.The waitress was sweet and helpful

We got ripped off says you get fries w the burger on the menu yet she charged us 57 dollars for 2 burgers an omelette and some Chilli I will NEVER eat here again and at first she was telling us that it was 70 bucks and stayed adamant about it saying she rang it up twice so if you eat there check your bill cause people don't know how to add and charged extra for fries when menu says fries come w the burger right on it!!!!!

Great homemade food. My husband had the hot beef sandwich-tender beef roast and home made gravy on homemade bread. It was great. I had the gyro and it was very tasty. Homemade coleslaw was delicious. Service was great. If we were in Bruce Crossing again, we would definitely dine here again. Kudos to the cooks.

Our breakfast was not as good as some of the others have commented. I ordered scrambled eggs and they came flat like a tortilla. It was folded in half like a taco upon presentation. The hash browns were the worst I had ever had, unfortunately. I love hash browns smothered in ketchup! These were crispy and looked delicious, but I think the oil was bad as they had a funky taste and even stranger aftertaste. I couldn't eat them. Husband got the, and I quote from the menu, "Biscuits & Sausage & Gravy". It is written with the words "& sausage", so we thought we were in for a treat. No, there was not one speck of sausage at all. It was the same old canned Sysco stuff you get everywhere, but with zero sausage. Most places add a little. Friendly and fast service so I gave two stars. I will try to find somewhere else next time I'm in that area for breakfast. Maybe their lunch is better.

First off, the staff is super friendly. Makes you feel at home. We were just travelling through and seen the great reviews so we had to check it out.. very happy we did. I had a homemade tomato Mac soup and a Philly steak. Both were delicious. Hubby has a cheeseburger and fries and enjoyed that as well.
