Been a while since we've been here than normal. Shelves are half empty and associates are hard to locate to ask questions as to where things are located.There is a dollar section, which is helpful, but there are no assistance to help out to locate anything

I was there yesterday and got a beef jerky and found out it was expired by a month. Then today my co worker went and got a pop today and well to find that was also expired. I work retail I get that things expire that's why you go through your food and pop ext. But don't yell at the customer for bringing it back that's rude. Maybe do your job and check it. Kathy was very rude about it. Not happy. And they just left all the expired pop on the self so if you go here check the dates.

I love this place more than I can say for their affordable coffee and amazing staff, but I must say I have been very disappointed in their coffee as of late. I go there every single day and I've recently noticed that the coffee just tastes like warm milk. Not sure if they are trying to save on the coffee beans, but it's made my morning coffee run quite sad. Also not sure why the swapped out the chai for something less spicy. I'm only writing this review in hopes that the Groundworks higher ups know that it's not the prices or the employees, it's the actual coffee that is my big issue as of late.

This new and beautiful store is built where it's needed.Great place to pick up your daily needs.I Wish they did deliveries.Store has lots of stock . employees are knowledgeable and Pleasant. I shopped there three times a week getting various things from food to Auto to Bath supplies you name it they just about have everything there. Clearance prices are always awesome.

They have converted this store to include more grocery and some produce. I love it. It saves me trips to the store. The prices are competitive. Staff has always been friendly. They are keeping the shelves stocked better. Aisles are narrow but they put a lot in the space they have.

Like most Dollar Generals, the floors are always crowded and it's hard to walk through. They do offer a decent line of products at good prices. I would just wish they're not so crowded so you're not having to make sure you don't trip

Always neat and clean. They are usually stocked too. Most of them employees are nice and friendly except for the older lady who works during the day. She is rather rude at times

Always make sure you get your receipt here. Today just 15 minutes ago I purchased Pedigree dog food. The 18 count pouches the tag on the shelf said 11.00 dollars. When ringed up it was 12.00 dollars. I consider this to be a scam. And I'm taking action about this.

I was just there, and had to wait in a line of 5 people because nobody was working at checkout. After a couple minutes someone in line called over another worker who gave no apology to the waiting customers, and simply said “I wonder where she is.” She wasn’t very pleasant and wasn’t very happy to help us, and we never did seem to find the other employee or employees who were supposed to be working there. The only reason they have the 2 stars is for their cheap prices, and let me be clear it was not for their service.

So not just this store but all dollar general's I have been too seems like they are always perpetually stocking and a lot of times it's in people's way, which is my only knock, my visit here was good, got a few things they had everything I was looking for and had two registers open so not a long wait, the person that helped me was polite, but man, all dollar generals need to work out that stock issue because I'm either having to move carts or go down around isles to let people through, the isles are already small enough without a cart of merch to be put away! 🙄

Every aisle has a large cart like bin in the way. I was trying to find something on a shelf behind one of the bins but it wasn't movable. The store is getting junkier and junkier. The aisles have carts and bins in them that make it difficult to get through the store. It isn't arranged well at all either. I previously purchased 2 packages of Steak-umms that were SPOILED. They were brown, crumbly, and stank. I wouldn't even feed them to my dog. I contacted the Steak-umm company and they reimbursed me for them but I will never buy any food products at this store ever again.

Although the selection is better than it used to be, the lack of staff makes check-out typically a long process. It's always better to go just down the street to Country Market. Country Market has more products and many cashiers available.

This store is getting worse every time I go in. Always boxes and carts filling the isle. Shelves are half empty. Kathy is the best cashier. The rest are rude and slow. Took me 20 minutes to check out today and I was next in line. Super disappointed

Dont work here, min wage, theres only a $1 raise after your 1st promotion and thats it (they claim to have competitive pay but Litteraly the McDonald's next door is paying $14/hr) they expect way too much out of you, you are told to push surveys and all you get is the possibility of a pizza party, you get wrote up for their systems failing, you are not appreciated if you are a good employee, they normally play pop country, and the registers are complete garbage, they frequently just brick and worst of all they are anti union, dont work here, better yet just dont shop here

Well they get 4 Stars because it's Finally Organized and Clean it's great they offer Produce now by the way here's the TIP of the day CLOVER VALLEY BREAD is AUNT MILLIE'S and it's softer than the Aunt Millie's they come on Monday's at least in Grass Lake they do and I always wait until he is there same with the Buns......The Dollar General in Grass Lake was by far the most Organized and Clean even before they started the changes let's just hope the rest of the stores will stay CLEAN AND ORGANIZED it makes me want to start Organic things myself.Take Pride in your work you will always go fair in life

Hayley from Brooklyn Dollar general is an amazing employee for this company. She is very kind, helpful and patient. I never see her slacking, she is always moving. Stocking shelves, movie items forward. The girl needs a raise! Thank you Hayley!

The store just went through renovations so it's really hard to find things and I was disappointed to know that you're not going to be carrying clothes anymore,it was so easy to live it at the lake you can just go up and buy a pair of flip-flops or a shirt or anything else you needed and now we don't have that. So we'll just have to go down to family Dollar it's only about a mile down the road so we'll have to do that when we need an article of clothing. They do however carry beer wine and cigarettes which I think is totally stupid because you need clothes more than you do beer wine and cigarettes I know you probably make more money but that's not really the point.
