Great store to get almost all your camping essentials. Unfortunitly for me they did not have climbing gear which would have been great to pick up. Its still in a great location with a huge variety of other stores around it. Very close to the highway so it is super convenient!.

Randy gives the best customer service I've ever experienced. He not only found what I was looking for in the store he spent SO much effort looking for a Nike hoodie, that online said they had, and after 15min he found it! I was so happy.

Staff is very helpful and kind, especially in the golf department. I was pleased with the selection, organization, and staff. They even have good deals regularly and are willing to assist you with any swaps/returns!

Randy from the fishing department is the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable, he helped me fix 4 fishing rods and patiently explained all of my options. He also took the time to clean and oil each one. His level of customer service blew me away and brightened my day.

Eric was great! We called a day ahead to have them set aside a Marcy 990 home gym. when we arrive the next day Eric greeted us immediately and asked us how he could help. quickly went in the back and brought the gym out. we were in and out in 10 minutes even though the line was long! Best experience ever. Don't remember the cashier's name but they helped quite a bit also.

Stopped in to demo a commercial NordicTrack treadmill. After several tries to get the attention of an associate, we had to flag someone bdiwn from the cash registers. After finally getting someone to come and get the keys, the model did not work (the employees just kept turning it off and on to no avail). Multiple employees couldn't give me any information about the product or help me with details regarding the purchase. I asked to see if there was a department manager or someone who actually knew something and one employee basically just wandered off and abandoned us with another employee that clearly had no idea how to assist us . It was an absolute waste of time and effort. We gave up and will buy it elsewhere.

I've been consistently disappointed in the lack of sales associates' knowledge on different items, and I've been especially aggravated by bait and switch techniques that promise a price or service on the website, only to discover that the same item and service is significantly more expensive when purchased in-store.It's a pretty silly business model where you're better off ordering online and then going to the same store to get an item already sitting on the shelf for less.

Went to go look at some potential kayak options. They have a good selection of different sit-on-top and sit-ins. On top of all that, the service was very professional and they were happy to help move yaks for us to try out.

I came in looking for a pair of tennis shoes I could wear to work, and the sales associate working in shoes was very helpful and earnest in recommending the pair he uses as well, and grabbed several sizes for me to try.Every time we come to this store, the staff has been helpful, friendly, and often goes well above the normal call of customer service.

Yo I went here to buy a mountain bike! This dude set me up! Put on the kick stand, tightened everything up, put on the water bottle holder. They even watched the bike for me when I went to put the bike rack on the trunk of my car. I wish I could remember his name. I wanna say Stephen but I know it wasn't Stephen. Anyway, thanks dude! I went to some trails afterward and met 2 older dudes who showed me the trails and waited for me because I take my time because I do it only for fun and exercise. I gotta go my pace. They were cool though. I came back home and threw down a beat in Ableton and it was chill fire hip hop. Writing lyrics now inspired by the goodness and kindness of humanity I experienced today.

I had a jacket I went in to return last night. The cashier Andrew was extremely helpful and immediately came up with a solution due to the issue at hand, which was that I had ordered a 3XLT and needed a 2XLT so I did a exchange. I was transferred over to the golfing area and had a manager help do an online order. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and overall I appreciated how they handled my return/exchange. I will be back!

I can't believe this, my husband just came home with his holiday schedule. Long story short, he works a 10hr day, goes back in Thanksgiving night at 5pm, works until 12am, then has to be back at 5am and get out at 4pm. I can't stand the way this company treats it's employees. It's daily abuse, this is why they can't ever keep any new hires. And it directly effects customer service. This company's managers and higher ups don't have a clue and don't care to have a clue as long as they keep getting those bonuses on the backs of the people who actually do the work. They blow in for a visit, point out what's wrong and say fix it. They don't want to hear that because the company's so cheap they won't approve a little more payroll to have 2 people scheduled at the same time in a department. 1 person helping all those guests, overwhelming and ridiculous. They are into crisis management, what until all hell's breaking loose to do something, all they'd have to do is lay down their ego and listen to their department leads in what is needed. I have no respect for this company. None.

Terrible customer service. I went in to purchase a Polar a360 ($200 product). No one seemed to even know where they were and when they found the Polar brand they didn't have the particular model I wanted. I asked if they were out of them or just didn't carry them and no one could give me an answer. Isn't there a store inventory they can check?? No one seemed to care to help or even come up with an answer. I left extremely dissatisfied. Called REI in Ann Arbor, received MUCH better service and picked up the product the next day.

This place should stop calling itself a sporting goods store. It's really something different than that now with the merchandise they carry. So much fashion-based work out apparel and a very limited amount of real hunting or fishing. Cabela's is crushing this store.

My husband and I love to shop locally, but after 3 trips to this store, we will never go back. Finding an employee to answer any questions is impossible, wanting to purchase a $400.00 driver for golf, the girl explained he could not try it out with the simulator because it would take too long to set up. Dunhams and Carl's Golfland were more than accommodating. At the golf desk there is a button to push for help, we then waited for 5 minutes and were leaving when a hurried young man hollered over, do you need help. As we were leaving I noticed a large sign explaining the history of the company , I'm sure Sick would not be proud. Never ever going back. Poor customer service and management!

This place truly sucks. Hard to get to, hardly any inventory and what they have is old and overpriced. I received a gift card for a present and that's the only reason I came here. It will probably get thrown out or re-gifted. Don't waste your time with this sporting good store

If you buy something make sure you don't need delivery. I ordered a treadmill and they stood me up both Saturday and Sunday! I waited in their 4 hour window for the delivery both day and no one showed up, or gave me a call to let me know they weren't coming. I then spent another 3 hours on the phone trying to figure when and if my treadmill would be delivered. What a worthless company. They have no respect at all for peoples time.
