Great local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. Coffee tastes really good! We buy the beans to make at home as well. Great atmosphere. Stay away from the super market chain coffee kiosk and enjoy some good craft coffee.

Tasty coffee with large space inside and friendly people. I like to have my coffee at a calm place and I found Lake Charlevox. Organic coffee. Nice photos on walls represent the surrounding nature of the beautiful Boyne area.

Hands down the best latte I think I’ve had in a long time!! And how awesome to have such a variety of wellness-type lattes like their golden tea latte and the activated charcoal latte?! The “Blackout” latte with almond milk won this round. Next time I’m trying the Golden. What’s your fave?!!

I decided to edit my review of Lake Charleovoix Coffee Company after my second visit. Much better experience the second time around (103 days post last visit.) This time around there are two employees on staff working the coffee bar of which provided much better service. Both on staff were very friendly and respectful. I didn't feel that so much from the "guy" with the painted fingernails a few months ago. We'll certainly come back here in the future. Also, I should add we really enjoy the various seating arrangements with couches bar stools and comfortable chairs.

Was up here for a wedding and stopped at Lake Charlevoix Coffee Company both mornings, the staff was great and coffee was excellent, they had lots of choices for dairy alternatives as well as a variety of syrups (lavender being one of them, my favorite!) tons of seating too with a cozy yet clean and open vibe.

CLOSED!Erratic hours. Great place when they stick to their posted hours.We sat outside and saw forty or more customers try to get in. Will they be back next Sunday?This is Disrespect for customers. This is Destructive to effort to build customer base.Cashier couldn't/wouldn't tell me if the hours were changed for one day or..?Our little group of regulars plans to go elsewhere next week.

Coffee is pretty good but rather a disappointing experience on our second visit. My coffee was missing around 20% in the cup, and the bagel they gave me was the size of a mini despite there being others. When I asked about it, they stated, "we know, some are tiny, but they're all local and hand-made." Well, it would have been nice to know I would be missing around 40% of a bagel and 20% of my drink. The place is nice, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is great, the quality and consistency of their coffee and food is questionable

I love there coffee, love there shop, the ladies in there very nice, i live here in Boyne my 1st time going in today ordered a mocha an a caramel macchiato good coffee.I will return again. Also there pet friendly 😇

Atmosphere +1 🌟Such a coffee house feel. Super welcoming and calming. I loved the aesthetic of the whole building.Facilities +1 🌟Super clean. You can tell they take care of their customers.Price +1 🌟For someone who loves smoothies and can make them for less than 2$ a cup at home, yes it was a bit expensive, but they were so well worth $7 a cup. I got one for 3 days straight and it was gone in about 5 minutes.Food +1 🌟Absolutely delicious. The coffee is good and so are the smoothies. They have high quality food here.Services +1 🌟They were so kind and joyful. Definitely the kind of people I want to see in the morning.Overall it was a wonderful experience. I recommend taking your family or friends here for a mango or wild berry smoothie and then go sit on those adorable couches and laugh about the good times.

After running in to the owners at a small hotel at drumond island, while we were on vacation from maine, they introduced me to their coffee. I offered to buy some and they insisted I take the bag for free. after this encounter I HAD to visit their coffee shop. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was so fresh! I also bought another bag of coffee to bring home with me. wonderful coffee, wonderful staff. and amazing atmosphere in the shop!

I stopped in here after a day of skiing to get a cup of coffee and was thrilled. The employee working that day was very sweet and helped me get the right cup for myself and my wife. The pastry selection is also pretty good so don't pass up a blueberry muffin!

Very cute place with strong coffee. They have a really nice sitting area with games and books that is nice to have our little one run around. The bathroom didn't have a changing table but they were clean and big enough to change the baby

Outstanding independent cafe and coffee roaster. Huge, loft-like space makes for great place to chill out solo or with friends, have your favorite brew or coffee drink, work on your computer, etc. Nice background music at a reasonable level. A small selection of baked goods were also available. Our latte's were outstanding. Great quality coffee.

I’m always looking for a local coffee shop when I vacation. This place was lovely inside and the staff were polite. Unfortunately the coffee itself, an iced mocha, was not good. The coffee tasted like cheap Folgers that was put in the fridge overnight- just a mucky taste. I expected better for a coffee company.

I’m not a coffee expert, but I quit enjoyed my latte! I stayed for a few hours to get work done and it was wonderful. Comfortable space, great music playing, and very welcoming! Would definitely recommend.
