You don’t want to miss this bakery! We lived in Paris and moved back this past May. We’ve missed a good croissant and pain au chocolat. Gilda’s was amazing! The croissant and pain au chocolat were crunchy and airy. The baguette was also yummy with a good crunch. We also had the banana & Nutella crepe and ham, Swiss, and egg galette. They both were yummy and had lots of toppings. The coffee was also quite good. Our kiddos loved everything and said it tasted like in France too.

Cocoa tasted like flavored water, the crepe was good but the person making them wasn't pleasant when asked about cutlery. Couldn't really smell anything over the overwhelming crepe cooking scent and it stuck to our clothing when we left. Pastries were hit or miss for me..we spent $40 on various baked items and nothing was bad...it just wasn't like Ryke's in Muskegon

Wonderful and quick. Not much seating just a few high top coffee tables. It is absolutely worth going. So yummy. When I bring friends north we do our best to always stop in for a breakfast!

I thank this place for being in my life. The croissant dough is perfection. The pan au chocolate uses a delicious High quality chocolate. They make a sweetened laminated dough treat, which I cannot remember it's name. (Auirgny? ).. it is AMAZING!!!. The owners are so kind. Try this place!!!! Going back tomorrow for buckwheat crepes!!!!

We love Gildas! We visit whenever we are in town. The crepes are definitely the main selling point, but all of the bakery items are amazing. We came in at 10 when it was pretty busy and put in a large order of crepes. Everything was ready in about 10-15 minutes. The staff and owner are all fantastic!

Open Monday despite the google pop up saying to the contrary. Easy free parking. Clean restrooms. Comfortable spot to look at art, enjoy a cuppa, and oh my!!!! The bread and pastries. Photos tell it;)

You just cannot beat the prices on their pastries! They make very delicious items and a great price and we enjoyed ever one we got! I don’t know how we went this long not going here every time we are in town! We look forward to trying their crepes in the future, too!

Crepes were fabulous. We tried a mix of sweet and savoury flavors and all of them were flavorful.

The best pastries I’ve ever had.I bought an assortment to share when I was in town visiting my cousins. We had the cinnamon rolls, pain au chocolat (my favorite), and lemon blueberry scones. They were all delicious. It was easy to tell they use the highest quality ingredients. They were friendly and efficient, too. Will absolutely go back whenever I’m anywhere near Boyne City.

Everything on the menu is delicious, but the crepes are exceptional. The mushroom, feta, and egg was a favorite. Made to order, you can't go wrong with a crepe. Coffee was also delicious!

Delicious crepes and a great atmosphere in a cute little part of town. There is also a biker couple sitting next to me speaking French, which is delightful. I also had to get a bit of work done & their WiFi worked well!

The caramel crepe was decadent. The pastry is well laminated, and everything tastes homemade...if your home happens to be run by a French pastry chef. Ate here several times and can't wait to come back.

Bakery was nice and very busy. Great to see a local business jammed with customers. Pastries are delicious and coffee is the bomb. Staff is super friendly. There were a few rude customers cutting in line and thinking they were special and didn't have to wait. Relax and enjoy a great little bakery.

Authentic breakfast crepes in gluten or gluten free. Delicious and filling, without over or under filling, made fresh to order. Excellent to eat there or walk around with, wrapped with paper and a napkin.Mouth watering pastries, especially the croissants. They are usually available in plain, chocolate, almond, and a fruit. It's difficult not to take home a box, although then you would probably have to share!

I worked at a French restaurant/hotel for many years, and ate quite a few eclairs during that time. I thought our pastry chefs were fantastic, and maybe they were. However, the eclair from Gildas' was the best I've had.The pastry cream was perfect, and the pâte á choux was crispy but airy. It held up well and retained its shape when bitten. Would 100% recommend.

Recommended by a local at BlueStem Farm the savory crepes were amazing, each one made fresh as you wait. Good coffee and people too. No indoor seating but there wouldn’t have been room as busy as they were. I’ll go back next time I visit Boyne City.

Gilda's is the best! They make pastries that will knock your socks off and traditional crepes that are to die for. I suggest the espresso cake... it's out of this world. The environment is classic and cute and just the right space for this business. Thank you for being a great part of Boyne City, and making the business district shine!

The pastries were baked with just enough crisp and the right amount of fruit flavors.

Their eclairs are amazing so I didn’t think I’d go wrong purchasing a pie for Christmas. The presentation was beautiful and I was so happy until we tasted it. It had absolutely no flavor ... NONE. The blueberries were small and hard almost like the dried ones you get in the grocery store. I really don’t understand what went wrong here at all but that recipe needs to be looked at.

Cool little place, hometown feel. Baked goods were good, the chai tea was bland, americano was good. Also got an espresso cake, which was great paired with the americano

The absolute best place for crepes! This Frenchman knows how to do it right! I like to keep it simple and stick with butter sugar crepes but have tried a buckwheat flour savory version with eggs and gruyere. Pastries are to-die-for! This is one of my favorite places in Michigan! He also maintains a stall at the Farmers market. Helloooo Kouign-amann! IG @withlovefrommiche Follow me for Michigan eats!

The crepes and quiche are amazing! The pastries are all very tempting. I tried the white chocolate and raspberry scone. Oh, my! It was delicious. Husband had the croissant and said it was the best he'd ever had.

Probably the best bakery I've been to. The crepes were excellent. We purchased a bunch of other pastries, and they were all so scrumptious. Our group consisted of 10, we got 14 crepes I think, and they were very patient and accommodating for this large of an order on short notice. They told us it would take 45 minutes, and we were totally fine with that and also let another couple go before us, but it ended up only taking about 20 minutes. We were in the area for a long weekend, and ended up going back to load up on more pastries before heading home (which added 50 minutes to the ride home).

Family run authentic French bakery. I have been going here for years and love their food, but as the ultimate test I took one of my friends that grew up in France, and he said the food exceeded his expectations it was the closest thing he has had to the food at home since he left. The made to order crepes are great, in addition to their fully stocked display case if fresh baked goods. A must for breakfast if you are in the area.

Nice place to stop for French style pastries, and both savory and sweet crepes. Get there early for the best selection, as there are often loyal customers who gather at opening time.

Picked up 3 pastries on our way through and all three were absolutely incredible! My wife grew up in Switzerland so she knows her croissant-related pastries and she gave rave reviews as well. We'll most definitely be back!
