Very friendly and helpful staff. I was asked twice if I needed help and the second time I took him up on the offer. I try to find what I need on my own and still learning at 55 years old it's ok to ask for help...lol. This hardware store has about anything needed for any household project. The store is super clean and well organized. Anytime I'm in town and need hardware items I go here. Items may cost a bit more, however, I'd rather support local hardware's as apposed to big box stores where the staff aren't as knowledgeable.

Tried to buy a lock rekey kit. They don't carry anymore because customers would bring back and get help because they couldn't figure them out. Don't punish the other customers who need and know how to use the rekey kits. Tell the idiots there is a fee, no returns, etc. Don't punish customers for what other customers did or do. Figure out a way to serve the entire community.

Prices a little higher than a box store, but family owned and the money you spend stays in the community. Staff jumps right up to help. You can start an account and "charge"what you need and pay at the end of the month I always look there first before going to a big store!

Friendly staff. Unfortunately follow through with things, aren't even close to being up to par. Applied for a business account with them. Called back 3 times over the course of a week and a half, and all 3 times was told I'd be getting a call back. Never once did I hear back on whether I was approved or denied. I guess I will be doing my business with the local competitor..

If they don’t have it, it’s not made, or it’s not worth having! Wonderful little store full of really good stuff and smart associates. This store maintains a great reputation due to the wonderful people that they employ. Before you take a trip to Petoskey or Gaylord, be sure to stop in here.

Great place for getting keys made! There are a million treasures hidden in the usual hardware offerings! A fun place to shop... a little of everything! They even have LOL dolls, when the rest of the world and Amazon don't!!!!
