It was terrible; the deli was pitiful. Jerry's in Tecumseh is light years ahead of this place. Fortunately the people who own Jerry's and the Manchester Market are buying this place and plan to revamp it. After that happens it should be good.

Staff is friendly, they sell some local products. Prices are higher than big box stores, but are starting to exceed what is expected for a small town grocer. Produce could be better, and I have found out of date products still on the shelf on at least one occasion.

Bottle returns machine is broken, or breaks every time I go there. They have no problem selling me the bottles. They just can't take them back

Poor quality. Stopped in to buy bananas and celery on Monday. They had 2 bunches of celery, both spoiled and all bananas were way past ripe. Poor excuse for a grocery store

I have seen the ice cream products go down hill they don't carry the good stuff and there prices have gone up. Cambels soup 1 can ,,$4.55

Highly friendly and good service. Noticed some reviews complaining about the price but it’s a friendly small town grocery store. Your not gonna get the same price on everything as a big store. The service is good and the quality of meat is a huge thing I’ve noticed

We are new to Blissfield. I am impressed with this store. Nice selection, great meat dept. The daily hot food selection i.e. ribs, rotessiary chicken (totally great)Produce is fresh and a good variety. Best if all the STAFF is super helpful and friendly

I spoke to the proprietor about a particular item that my wife wished they carried due to a food allergy. Andy was attentive and said he would gladly see about adding it to their shelves.The next time I went in there, maybe four days later, there it was.Try that at one of the big box stores and see what kind of response you get... My guess is, they'll probably look at you like you've lost your mind.Stores like this are a dying breed, unfortunately. Please support them by shopping there whenever possible so we don't wake up one day and find that they were forced to close up shop like so many before.

High Prices. Store is dirty, products are often sticky and dirty. Expired foods remain on shelves. Frozen foods frequently are covered in ice crystals or appear to have thawed and been refrozen. Twice I've found that the meat I purchased was spoiled. If it weren't for the friendly employees I'd have only given it one star.

Great hometown friendly feel when visiting this grocery store. The chicken tastes amazing, great prices, and there are always sales to take advantage of! Very clean store, with exceptionally friendly staff.

It's local and convenient and most of the employees are very nice. There is a problem with expired food not being taken off the shelf. I asked about returning a can of Spartan brand nuts that had gone rancid and hadn't expired yet. Initially I was told I couldn't return them without a receipt. Really? I later did when I found the receipt. They need to stand behind their brand better.Also, I tried to speak to management there about Moneygrams and could not get through to them. I needed a refund, which the store cannot do, and was told that I should call Moneygram and "they would take care of it", which they will not do unless you pay an $18 fee. My Moneygram was only for $12. This should be made clear to anyone purchasing Moneygrams.

It's a good mom and pop type grocery store...but check your expiration dates as I have went home and found that what I bought was expired...they will return it no questions asked though. They are all very happy and helpful.

I recommend going to Borchardts to everyone I know for many reasons. Namely they have a huge selection when it comes to shelf items. Also the Borchardt family does SO much for our community that they don't seek credit for. They have earned my money. That all being said an area of opportunity is present in the produce section. Regardless, this is my first stop usually

It used to be so friendly until the new staff came. Cant even get a "hello" from the cashier. Just so different since i started shopping there.

Yesterday was the first time I have ever been in the store and will be the last also. I am at work right now wanting to eat my lunch. Four out of the five things I bought yesterday are expired. I avoided sale items you had out before they were past expiration dates and failed to watch other stuff that I was getting.

Best Grocery Store. Really Borchardt's is the only Grocery Store I like. Only Local with not only Great Prices, but AWESOME FOOD!!!!!!!! I will always come here for any of my Grocery needs.
