Surprisingly, there is a large selection and fair prices for a small town hardware store. I would shop here over Gilroys any day.***edit*** Still far better than Gilroys, but pricing has gone up considerably. Ugh. It's borderline worth the drive to go to another store at this point.

Highly recommend! They made it to our house within 1 hour of us calling them when our sump pump was leaking water everywhere. Kyle was VERY knowledgeable, fixed the problem right away. Even went above and beyond and help find the sump pump drainage line by personally getting full of mud to hand dig the pipe free and get the pipe draining again. Great service all around.

Needed my water heater replaced. They came out the same day I called. Home Depot quoted me $1200 more than what Schmitzer did. They replaced the damaged floor underneath, showed me how to use my new water heater, and cleaned up after themselves. All around amazing.

Very poor job. Had them replace a sump pump line. They connected to floor joist. Guess what I have been listening to since. The sound of it turning on (which is often) a big thump sound then the water running through the line. Called several times to have them come out and fix with no response except to pay remainder of bill. They would not come talk to me. Nothing. Very poor for someone I thought I knew

I had a furnace problem right in the thick of furnace repair season and Schmitzer Hardware was available for service immediately. Matt, the service tech who fixed my furnace was very knowledgeable, efficient, preserving, and agreeable. While I don't want my furnace to break down again, I'd be happy to give Schmitzer my business again.

Waited 15 minutes for the cashier to come up to the register so I could check out. They were in the back area and looked right at me waiting and never came up. Terrible customer service. Go to Self-Serve Lumbar or True Value in Frankenmuth.
