My first time stopping in. They had local treats like caramel apples and peach cobbler. Had a good selection of meat, I stopped in for ground round. There was a nice cheese assortment and lots of cakes and desserts.

Absolutely amazing! Tasty mini cheesecake birthday cake flavor. Frozen fryer chicken strips are great too.Their meat is so good! We don't get it anywhere else!

I love this hardware/ Grocery store. Veggies and fruit are very fresh. Meat section is fantastic. Plus Champs Chicken is the best.Go shopping there the crew is fun and fantastic people.😀😉

I live in Lansing and drive up once every six weeks or so just for the deli food. The selection is different but every thing is amazing. You can taste the freshness in every selection. I have been able to hit the meat sale and have been very happy. This is a place that I am willing to drive an hour for so if you are in the area stop by and take something home.

Don's has the best meat and best prices that I have seen in many years. I started buying my meat from them a little over a year ago and simply refuse to go anywhere else. The quality and service there totally negates the small stature of the building itself.

Store smells terribly. Produce is worst than Walmart. Everyone talks about their meat sales, yeah they're great if you plan to eat it all the next day.

This is an exceptional grocery store. I was first introduced to them when a friend recommended them as a source for getting beverages for my husband's surprise birthday party a year or so ago. They took care of everything flawlessly. Since then, I have returned because their meat department is the best I have seen in years. The staff is very friendly, and their prices are worth the extra distance I travel to get there. I pass a lot of grocery stores to shop at Don's.

I've gone to this place since I was a young boy. I've known the staff but haven't gone in for a while until a few months ago. I now go every week. Great meat prices and great store made food. A Family owned and operated in my little home town while the big chain supermarket (Meijer) tries to take over the market is just wonderful. Any birch run natives know that we lost Ruckert's to them so supporting a great local business is a must. especially as good as this one.

Great local grocery store. Selection of all products is very good for a small grocery store. Their specialties are a great selection of meat products including store made bratwurst and various sticks. They also have a very good selection of liquor and beer. Staff is all very friendly and the owner is very personable. There are larger stores around however I generally choose this store before any of the other grocery stores in the area.

I absolutely LOVE everything about Don’s Foodland! I drive there from Davison, Michigan every month for the “Monthly Meat Sale” and if I run out of something before the next “Monthly Meat Sale” or I am just in something else, I’ll make that drive for his meat! Tim has the Best Meat & Prices Hands Down! I enjoy their homemade fresh Brat Sausage, and the selection of different flavors of Brats will definitely leave your mouth watering & happy, along with their smoked sausage as well! We love Koegel’s Summer Sausage, Tim offered me and my Family to try their Homemade Hickory Stick, because he was out of the Koegel’s one time, it was just a small chin of it, oh my goodness, it knocked Koegel’s out of the running! Not greasy, no big peppercorn’s in the middle of it, just a mouth watering flavorful soft sausage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely a 5 out of 5 star rating! Give Don’s Foodland a try, if you don’t see what you want, just ask Tim, Ryan and/or Mike at Don’s Foodland they will definitely do their Best to get you what you want and need!

Been getting meat for year's here always ordered. And put a order in Wednesday morning lady in meat room said truck wasn't in yet but no problem she would put it together for Saturday. Just called to make sure my order was ready and Tim said truck came in but don't even have your order now they take your phone number when you place your order you would think they would of called so no they don't take care of there customers. It's only about money to them!!!!!!!!! We will see the businesses that deserve your business and the one's that just doesn't care about you though this time !

Vary nice place to do your shopping. If they don't have what you need and you shop with them Tim will look into what you need and many times the next day or two it's there and they have very good meat sales one time a month. Plus keep your family stores open and keep giving them the business.

A friend took us to Don's Foodland. He had told us about the great meat sales they have once a month. The store is small and crowded but has a really nice selection of meat! The prices were great. I was hoping that Don's Foodland would have some type of online notification system so you could sign up to be notified of these sales.

It's simple, they care. The meat sales are great, but their willingness to help and the way they treat you like your family. I would be lost if they weren't there for any reason. I have shopped there on and off since I was a kid. To bad some of the chain store's couldn't take a lesson on how to treat their costumers.

Customers are friendly and most staff is as well. One cashier in particular is very abrupt and "rough around the edges" type of person. The meat department including Deli have wondered customer service and delicious desserts, salads, and sandwiches. All at reasonable prices!!😊

This is a great home town grocery store, everything from fresh cut meat to lotto and adult beverages! Don had a generous heart and so does Tim. Love the deli salads especially the chicken salad!

I absolutely love Don's foodland. It is a small local grocery store. Most prices are comparable to big stores. Great Service and a great selection. Every month they have an awesome meat sale that has super cheap prices for great quality meat. Ex: Ribeyes @5.99 per lb. New York strips@4.99 a lb or less.They put no additives or dyes in their meat. I have had stomah problems for years because of perservatives and dyes. Don's food land has made it possible for me to eat meat with no stomach problems.
