Rustic lakefront lodge offering casual cabins, plus a swimming area, boat docks, fishing & hiking. Set on Lake Gogebic in Ottawa National Forest, this rustic lodge is 3 miles from downtown Merriweather and 18 miles from Lake Superior. The 11 homey cabins sleep from 1 to 10 people. All feature kitchens, Wi-Fi access and cable TV; most have decks. Grounds include picnic tables, fire pits and BBQ grills, as well as a swimming area and 2 boat docks. Boat rentals, fishing and bird hunting are offered. There's also a tackle shop, a fish-cleaning station and a freezer, plus coin-operated laundry facilities. Other amenities include access to hiking, snowmobile and cross-country skiing trails. Campsites are also available.
