This is one of the best Goodwills I've been to! Clean and organized, friendly staff, and fair prices. I found some really awesome stuff! $35 for a pair of nearly brand new red heels, 2 adorable skirts, a super cute dress, a pair of shorts, and a vintage crinkle top? You really can't beat that anywhere else! I'm so happy I took a little drive out to Rockford!

I'm not complaining about the workers at goodwill!! They are all nice in every good will that I've traveled to. I have bought at goodwill and donated to this organization for many years!! I find it hard to believe that the prices are almost equal to a chain store... this stuff is donated. Why are the prices so high ?? Seriously Goodwill you can do better then that!! Stop increasing prices on donated items!!! I stepped away from your organization for a couple years... went back to do some treasure shopping. Couldn't believe the hike $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

One of my favorite Goodwills’ in the greater GR area. They have many great quality items; you’re bound to find something worthy. You’ll see a robust selection of name brand items, keep your eye out. This place is always clean, organized, & the employees are polite. Bring your own bag/s though, they did away with plastic ones (yay). Enjoy.

kid who looked like slim shady with purple hair needs to get fired. acted like he didn’t wanna work there. i was going around knocking on the fitting room doors and i came on the other side and asked “is there anyone in here?” and he responded with “i don’t know, knock.” very rude.

Talk about a RIP OFF! Don't go here for anything. They price everything the same so for example all shirts are $5.99 and so on. They charge literally double if not more that they should for everything. You can get NEW stuff for cheaper. I suggest going to Salvation army or at least any other Goodwill besides this one. It's in Rockford so they price gouge because wealthier people live there. What a waste of time and a rip off. I'd give 0 stars if it was possible.

I've been shopping at Goodwill for years.. It's sad that the prices have had to go up SO MUCH! 😳 $2.99 for a coffee cup??? That's absolutely rediculous! I find myself leaving now empty handed where I use to bring one or two large bags home...I found a thin vest I liked by the coats...it was tagged $7.99!! It was more expensive than a full floor length coat! Someone clearly needs to train better in the pricing area. #disappointedloyalshopper

Horrible store. Prices are OUTRAGEOUS for a thrift store!!!! They have gotten just plain GREEDY. I won't be going back. I also won't do donating things there where they are ripping the customers off.

Pay attention - prices all went up in the last few weeks!!Baby clothes doubled in price!! All shirts, sweaters, pants, jeans went up a buck each!Used jeans $6?? No thanks.Stuffed Animals are up to 3 bucks now!!Thankfully garage sale season is almost upon us. You can usually get clothes for a dollar and stuffed animals for 50 cents.Note that this came AFTER they got rid of color of the week sales with the excuse that they were going to lower their prices instead.

Rockford Goodwill is very clean, organized, nice selections of, well, just about everything and prices are very reasonable! Staff is friendly. Also, they have a donation drop off on outside of building. They are taking items again...you know, since this flu like virus Covid.

This was the most expensive Goodwill I've ever been to. They had shoes that were selling new online for 12.99 listed for $15. Not a thrift store when they are selling stuff above/ at retail prices. Not impressed.

Accidentally donated a bag of important pictures and documents, among other things and immediately went back with a list of all the items. I was told they were to busy to look for it at the time, which was understandable. I also understand it was my own fault for not paying attention to what I was dropping off. However, after weeks of being told the same sorry story, I assume someone took my belongings because of the nice bluetooth speaker and knife in the bag. I never saw the speaker on the online store, so it had to go somewhere. I won't be shopping at this Goodwill anymore, especially with the dishonest employees there. The manger, Sean, will still tell me they haven't had time to look. THREE WEEKS LATER.

Goodwill stores are always a great place to find unique things all in one place. The Rockford store is exceptionally neat and tidy with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and I like knowing that my purchases help people in our community that are struggling to find work. Their job training programs help a lot of people.

I was disappointed... I was shopping in the bras and lingerie area and found some Capri pj's. There were more than a couple items in the same spot. Got up to the register and was told they shouldn't have been there and they we we 3.99 not 2.49. This has happened to me more than once. I WISH EMPLOYEES WOULD PUT THINGS WJERE THEY BELONG. It is always a lot of items put in the wrong spot.☹

I'm currently sitting in the parking lot of this store. There is a dog in a car, and it's not running. The windows are partially down, but it's 80 degrees outside, so it's way too hot for a dog to be in a car without AC. I went inside and asked an employee to make an announcement and was told that they have a PA system, but it's against their policy to use it for this. I have been here half an hour, and no one has come out. I just got off the phone with 911, who is sending animal control.I'm sorry, but if potentially saving a dog's life is against your policy, you need a new one.

The staff needed to control two boys probably 9 to 10 years old who were throwing "stuff" - toys around the store to each other. The boys looked super hyper and the parent they were with, probably the father was just as bad. I was hit by the toy they were throwing around. And I told them to stop doing it. The staff seemed oblivious to what was happening .
