We LOVE Feed Rite. We come here for Dr. Gary's pet food but love the huge variety of products they carry. The staff has ALWAYS been so kind. I can't think of a negative, or even remotely sub-par, interaction with anyone working here. They are eager to help, greet you warmly at the door and their prices are awesome. We love supporting small businesses in Belleville. While we could order food or toys on Amazon or other big companies, we really value plugging back into our community and feeling like our dollars are going farther than just lining some big CEOs pocket.Keep being awesome Feed Rite! Thanks for always taking the big bags of food to the car- class act.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They kept and protected a predator on the payroll until they were given no other choice and continues to take no accountability. This is not a safe establishment. Not to mention how the animals aren’t properly taken care of and them having horrible business practices. Please find another small business to support and stay far away from this one.

I spent close to $100 in one visit,One particular item was a “Go Dog, Tough Toy” for $18.00.I had my black Lab with me and discussed with the gentleman that I needed something durable and “TOUGH”.He steered me towards this toy, so I purchased it.God as my witness, my dog had it 10 minutes and already had stuffing coming out, I immediately called the store and said“I was just there 15 minutes ago with my black Lab”The lady remembered me,I explained my situation……..Long story short…. No refund or exchangesNow I understand that the store doesn’t make the toys, but they should damn sure stand behind the products that they sell and should have a return policy.I have 4 dogs and my daughter has 2 cats, we were looking for a pet supply store closer than Michigan avenue, but I’ll make the drive to a store that cares enough to keep returning customers coming in.

When I bought my Baby Tortoise here 🐢 the owner discounted me 4 the supplies and that was very nice of him.I love this store because it allows u 2 bring up dog into the store with u.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I usually go to the big name stores for the Fromm farm dog food which is $90 and some change for the bag, with tax $100. Today I figured out it is $15 cheaper and I was also told a little bit of history of the company and why it’s better than others.I can really appreciate a family ram store that beats most competitors pricing and also can talk to you a bit about what you’re buying.On top of all that, they have a very good reward program. I highly recommend stopping in here for your next treat for your pet or big bag of food; you won’t regret it.

Excellent products and food including but Not limited to hard to find Victor Super Premium Dog and Puppy food for my German Shepherd puppy and for any dog! They are Super friendly and helpful for All my pet needs and we have several different types of pets in our home! Feed-Rite is The Right Place for your pet needs whith good prices as well!

I am leaving 3 stars because this was the closest pet supply store since I moved. I love the prices of most items but the staff are not knowledgeable and the owner had no time for anyone. My experience was very poor and I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I was looking for a place closer to me to buy my bearded dragons insects. I came across Feed Rite Pet shop. Unfortunately, they breed their own roaches and don’t always have them in stock, but my beardie loves the mealworms. The staff there is always helpful and knowledgeable and they don’t mind if your bring in your fury children in for a stroll, as long as they’re friendly. It’s nice to know that they also carry the Tidy Cats Breeze pads and litter. Some awesome sturdy cat towers are here as well.. My one stop shop for all my furbabies!!

I've been going here for years for various pet supplies. Good prices good products and they take very good care of the few animals they have for sale in store. Even the birds and bunnies are super friendly because they socialize and take really good care of them. It's been this way for the last 10 years I've been going there.

It's a cute little store. I've gotten a lot of my pet rats from here so I have a strange fondness/appreciation for it in that way. I've enjoyed seeing that the store has shifted in animal care and does sell some rats as pets rather than feeders. Employees are always very nice.

Best place around to shop local and find all of your pet care needs. We frequently shop here for frozen rats, cat litter, and dog treats. They always have a great supply and quality products. The animals they have in store always look well cared for and healthy. The store clerks are phenomenal and always offer to help carry litter to my car if I buy several bags. Great service and fantastic products!

I've been going here for over 20 years. The owner and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. It's a bit pricey on some items but it's independently owned and it's local. So why not help support the small businesses? Definitely recommend this establishment.

My husband and I buy crickets and super worms for our 2 geckos from Feed Rite. Employees are always super friendly, and I always leave the store with what I need. The exhibits they have set up are super clean and well taken care of. You can tell there love for animals just by spending a few minutes in there. Would definitely recomend to pet owners.
