Descriptions on the menu are hilarious. If you're starving, this is definitely the place to go! Fyi-burgers are 1/2lb. Perfect hand dipped onion rings. Wanda's Wonderful Cheesecake was our appetizer-oh yum. Burger tasted like farm raised, not like fast food. We had enough leftover for another whole meal. It was only around $45 including the cocktail. Definitely saved in my places to eat when I'm in the area.

Went for a benefit. Place was clean, nice patio, very friendly staff. Drinks were way over poured with alcohol, and something happened with our food order. Waited over 1.5 hours for them to realize it hadn't been placed. They did comp our meal so we gave it to the benefit. If it wasn't for the benefit we would of just left. The food was good.Parking: Easy parking.

Thee worst wet burrito Ive EVER had, I asked for light bean and it was smothered in alot of beans. I also asked for extra sauce but of course the waitress didn't write anything down, so I don't even know if she told the cooks. I had to asked for additional sauce, and I ended up feeding the rest to my dog in a take out container cuz I already paid 14.00 for just the burrito. My son had the burger, he mentioned it was a decent burger. FYI NO burritos!

My two sons and I went there for the first time today. Cute place. Very inviting atmosphere. Owner was super nice. We had a brand new server who did an amazing job. The food is so good. I want to try everything on the menu so I will definitely be back. The portion sizes are very generous. I enjoyed the music that was playing. I felt so comfortable and at ease here. It was great.

Came here on a Monday evening and was pleasantly surprised with the welcoming of the bartender and the owner! Please be sure to ask if Jameson the cook is working! He has a mean delicious burger to offer! Id compare it to Honey Creek Inn which is $4 more than the Harmful Roester. Seriously mean burger, that's why the Sunday special is the burger and beer! Place was clean, offered great food, and great service from the bartender! I will be coming back! Thanks for the service!

We went in for the Tuesday - All you can eat taco/soup/salad bar for $10.00! The taco meat was a little cool. But to be fair, the night we were there, Tues. 1/9, it was snowing pretty hard. Therefore the restaurant was not very busy. However the food was good, just needed to be warmer. The service was decent and the atmosphere was quiet. There was a couple people there and a couple more came in after us. I feel due to the bad weather it was much less busy than normal. Stop in and give the Harmful Rooster a try next time you are in the Belding area and looking to eat.

I'm glad our foursome decided to ignore the reviews and go to the Harmful Roester. We went on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Not busy, great atmosphere. Our server Hannah was so attentive and just a great, sparkling personality. We ordered Poutine, Chips and Salsa for appetizers --- all terrific. For dinner: a full Burrito, Ragin' Cajin' Tenderloin tips with Horseradish sauce (so beyond perfect), Burger (can't remember which one, but had french fried onions -- oh, my Lord!!), and Hawaiian Chicken. So danged great. Whomever is cooking -- way to go!! The karaoke started up -- so much fun that we decided to stay while and imbibe $2 domestic beers and Moscow Mules. Mackenzie was a terrific bartender. It amazed me how terrific these gals are!! We will definitely be back. Hopefully for the band Twister on November 22, at 8p.m. Sounds fun!!

Edit... well we went back . First time we must of got lucky. Food was good but...1. Maybe having people be seated by someone would be best. We waited 20 minutes would of been less but we didn't see a worker( they wear regular clothes so hard to even know)2. Waited another 20 minutes before we got drinks and then place an order. 3. We almost left after 40 minutes before the food came out after the second drink refill we thougth of slapping a 20 on the table and walking out. They were not that busy and it was a Friday night. We most likely won't be back for 3rd time is a charmThe menu names..were so funny we spent more time laughing about the names when looking over the menu. We ordered the couch potato.... def 10 out of 10.... also got the pulled pork sandwich.. aka Hoosier daddy... my son was in heaven he loves anything smoke and very picky he loved the taste and BBQ sauce he couldn't get enough... I had the fish fry.. I wouldn't say amazing but it was still pretty nice.We sat outside was very clean and the waiter visit the table very often checking drinks and to make sure we were well cared for. We will be back

This is the second time we have had food here and both times did not disappoint! The first time was just take out and I had the best, BIG olive burger! Today as we dined in, I was pleasantly surprised to get hand battered fried mushrooms and the hubby also got hand battered onion rings!!! YUM! The French dip with homemade chips and ranch were good with rich Au jus. Everyone else got cheeseburgers & they got to pick out their own "old tyme" soda from the cooler. I was too full to have dessert there, but I took strawberry cheesecake home and it was perfection!!! Definitely plan to explore more of the menu!

I used to like this place but today was real bad first the hostest didn't know we were there then finally she came over gave us silverware with he shirt half up her stomach then wr waited a hour for our food chip and cheese definitely looked bad half cheese wasn't even melted the fish and fries were warm to best like been sitting out the salad bar was brown lettuce and little of and vegetables looked as if they been out without changing. I was extremely disappointed its a shame it went down hill so fast forgot to mention the food in the lotto container at the table

I hear there is great food, never got to try it, sat there for 10 minutes and couldn't get service, and there were only four other people there, 2 at the bar and a couple in a booth,. 2 waitresses and not 1 of them would come to our table, yes they knew we were there, one of them told us to find a table and would be with us shortly, if after 10 minutes of waiting is shortly, then they don't need my business. Yeah the girls (waitresses) just stood at the bar. Even the couple at the other booth said "great 5 star service huh" ? I think they were not happy with the service either.

My family and MANY friends bombarded this restaurant today during the down pour while at a basketball tournament. The entire staff was so friendly even while going from a couple tables to a full house! Great good, excellent service and a fun atmosphere! We will definitely be back!!Parking: Large public parking lot right next to restaurant lit.Kid-friendliness: Fun games for the kids!!

I use to really like this place, but the last few times I went the service declined so drastically. Last time I sat inside I was greeted and then waited 20 minutes to get a water and menue when there was only 3 other tables occupied. So thr next time I tried a pick up order of the amazing chips and cheese deal they do with tons of veggies, peppers and all. But when I got it home it was a half the size chips with only cheese on it.... I'm just so disappointed at this point I'd rather make the drive somewhere else. This place really had potential, and I don't know what happened.

First visit after the Harmful Rooster took over. Thought it would be different, nope same old food & service wasn't that good either. Had to ask for refills & after done eating had to go to the bar to ask for my bill & my service tried to help the 3 ppl that came up after I was standing there & I spoke up and said I was there first.Never going back!!!

Went in place wasn't busy, except for the drunks playing pool. Was told to seat ourselves wherever, the bartender was to busy to pouring drinks for the drunks at the bar to even ask if we would like drinks the guys playing pool were yelling at the top of the lungs, went down the the street to Abbys. We'll never return to the Hamful Roster.
