this used to be our go to food spot for late nights in the area. we have friends in town and were looking for a sit down meal. there was one other table and a few people at the bar upon our arrival. our service was awful. we were asked about appetizers and after declining our order wasn’t taken for a good twenty minutes. multiple groups walked in at this point and they served all those tables then finally came back after everyone else’s order was taken. we overheard another table with the same waitress that didn’t even get one of the things they ordered. they didn’t even want the food at that point. really sad to see but after this we won’t be back. this is the second time we’ve had poor service here and it’s just not worth it. another group came in and sat down and they told them they couldn’t sit at a table after saying “seat yourselves” they simply got up and left. what a joke. this is a really great way to loose business. the people that got here after us were already done and paid for by the time we had gotten one of our orders out of a party of four. we didn’t even get all our food after the fact and they charged us for food we didn’t get, my boyfriend went up and said he wasn’t paying and her response was “sorry you came in the rush” which we did not. this is pathetic.

Great place with delicious food. Fast, friendly. A huge benefit to our community.Update (as it doesn't seem to allow you more than one review per business): as you can see by my photo, their pizzas are always a sure hit. In fact, I've yet to have anything there that I did not find extremely tasty and satisfying. Tonight I had the ham and cheese submarine with tomatoes, lettuce, onion and sub sauce ... It was an ooey gooey piece of heaven. My associate had the grilled cheese sandwich with ham added, talk about a buttery piece of bliss.Thank you Rosie's for your exceptional service and delicious food. You are 10+ in my book!

Nice little dive bar with a rocking kitchen. Some good Friendly Folks here. Nothing special but the locals luv the place. They must love the pizza because as i sat at the bar for 30 min they had 14 phone orders on pizzas. Not much on Michigan cider selections but they had Smirnoff and coke so that counts . Ill stop again

Excellent burgers. Cowboy Burger has onion rings and bbq sauce on it. The buns are amazing. Homemade patties. Wide variety of food to choose from - MX (taco salad, burrito), burgers, steak, more. Small bar atmosphere. When I went the first time, during the day, it was nice. When I went the second time, at night, it was packed and very noisy. Couldn't hardly talk or hear each other over the clacking of the pool balls, the music and everyone else trying to talk loudly over pool balls and music. We ate fast and left. Great service.Parking: Parking out front and on the side of the building. Handicap accessible but building entrance is not.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible entrance. Double doors and foyer too small to manipulate wheelchair into building.

Our waitress was Stacy and she made us feel so welcome. When she found out it was our first visit, she kindly offered suggestions and was so patient while we looked over the menu. She was so attentive the entire time we were there. There is alot of room and the place is well lit, not too dim or bright. There were 7 of us and we definitely would recommend the:MoosenutsMedium Rare SteakRosie's BurritoRibsSubsChiliFries & Kettle ChipsWe stopped on our way back home from Sleeping Bear Dunes and we hope to return when we pass through again. So the service was pretty slow at first, took literally almost 20min to get someone to come to our table, would've taken longer if my hubby didn't get their attention. We ordered the parmesan moose nuts for an appetizer, which were rly good. I ordered the perch dinner, only thing that struck me as odd was it was served on top of lettuce, which I've never seen anyone do before. They didn't bring our sides out with our dinners, like the salad n cottage cheese until I asked for it. That's understandable cuz hey, I've been a server before n sometimes ya just forget stuff. Overall, my food was good. However, my hubby ordered a steak dinner (medium-well) n mashed potatoes n he could hardly eat the steak cuz it was rly tough he said. He's not one to complain, he LOVES steak, all food actually lol so when he complains about steak, I know there's something wrong with it. He started eating his mashed potatoes but after the first bite, he said he couldn't eat em cuz it had a type of cardboard taste to it. Now I thought ok, they're potatoes so how bad could they taste? So I took a bite n I understood immediately what he was saying. It literally tasted like I imagine cardboard would taste like. If I go there again it'd be because there's good reviews on their burgers n pizza, so maybe if we go there I'll just order a burger. Our server Nicole was very nice n friendly tho 😁

Cool little local spot, good tasting food and pool tables and cool but weird bathroom. BUT the service was pretty bad, this older lady waited on us and was very nice. Our food never got put into the system and the kitchen never got the order which we were understanding. The food still took forever to get to us and we never got our moose nuts which we were really looking forward to. We had to walk up toThe bar to get the bill where we were rudely welcomed with a very insincere apology and we’re laughed at and told to have a great rest of our day obviously extremely sarcastic. VERY RUDE PEOPLE don’t know how they have a business

Have dined there many times over the past 5 years even carrying food out during Covid but tonight my bill for 2 of us was $35.00 and the lady in the kitchen charged me $.75 for extra ranch dressing. I guess she needed the money worse than a frequent customer. I shared my concern with the owner but got no response so I guess he needed the money more than frequent customer. There are many other places to eat!

The food was typical bar food. The pizza was pretty good. The Moosenuts are VERY tasty. The nachos could use some work though. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very impersonal and slow. I would only go back if I was in the area and it was the only option. The place was packed so they're doing something right.

Always love to get pizza from here. They loaded with toppings and it tastes amazing. A sample of moose bites has always a great idea. We get take out, everyone at the cottage is excited to see it when I return.

Food quality is superb and I absolutely love their pizzas! If you haven't tried Rosie's yet...you should. The hot beef is made with real beef, not lunchmeat. It was great. Their pizzas though, just unbelievable. My biggest pet peeves are the sauce not being sweet enough or burnt ham. This one was absolutely perfect and I would totally get one again. Thanks Rosie's!

We ordered late (9:10pm) but they said kitchen was open until 10, they said 25 minutes it was more like 35- which, whatever. We pulled in right as we finished ordering and realized it was a bar (did not specify that on google) so we said we would dine in- waitress said that’s fine. I ordered undercover chicken- chicken breast, mushrooms, onions converged with Swiss cheese. My husband ordered bacon cheeseburger and fries.When she finally brings it out- it’s in togo boxes, sorry! I can unbox it and bring you silverware. We said not, that’s fine. Get back to our place and his fries are nasty- like oil wasn’t hot enough and you could squeeze the grease out of them. The burger was decent- except they didn’t put any condiments on it.My chicken was tough and dry and instead of Swiss I got a plastic wrapped slice of cheese- so gross.Again, google review disappointed again with their 4.5 stars…

Wonderful pizza! Cold beer and happy hour! This pub is quite unassuming; it may be a place that you drive on by unless you are looking for it! A locals hangout for burgers, subs, salads, or steak and potatoes! Recommend you stop in!

Excellent service Dawn Watt Schlappi was our waitress and she was great. That woman can handle a lot of tables. She really should get a raise. She gets so busy and still has time to chat with all of her customers and she does it a with a smile on her face. The food was good too.

Ordered take out BYOB....build your own burger. Burgers were excellent. We asked for medium rare and they were exactly that. Juicy and full of flavor. Could not eat the whole burger so saved some for later. When in Bear Lake we will often eat at Rosie's. The food always meets or exceeds our expectation. Staff is very friendly and works hard to make your meal enjoyable.

I like there service when your there, but the take out is always messed up some way or another. Twice out of twice I have been sent orders that were incorrect. Getting frustrated since there is not many options out here. For best results eat in don't geothermal delivery in the establishment I give 4.5 out is a 3. Thx

The good- family fun can be had. The only place I've ever been where my children can come sing karaoke with me. We can play pool together etc. It's just nice to go out and have fun and not need a sitter. I had pizza and it was ok. I've had far better pizza but never been able to enjoy it while singing karaoke with my children. The moose nuts were delicious. The service was great.The bad- there is nothing I'd say was really bad. The food could be a lot better but it wasn't bad.The ugly- there are not more places like this.Over all Rosie's was a good place to go. The difference between 4 and 5 was simply the pizza was a little dry and flavor is average it didn't stand out. I would definitely go here again!Edit: Response to owner! Personally I would use the recipe for the moose nuts and incorporate it into the crust. It was not that I did not like the pizza just that it was average and something I can get at most sit down pizza places. Making a moose nuts crust pizza would make it stand out. I look forward to trying your other menus items next time I'm in town.
