Make sure to check if what you’re buying is used. I spent $100 on a fountain to get home and realize it has definitely been used and returned by someone. Maybe if I didn’t live an hour away I wouldn’t mind, but if you want to be safe make sure to check! This is unacceptable for something that costs $100!! White hairs at the top, visible dried water spots, and the instruction manual crumpled at the bottom. I don’t think the manufacturer would send out a $100 product like this, so my guess is it has been used.

came to this location twice, first time we adopted a cat we came back about 1 month later to see if the cats brother (left foot Charlie) was there, we asked if our kids and I could look at the cats and we’re greeted with an attitude about seeing the cats in the adoption room.They seemed both annoyed and made little comments as if we’re disrupting the cats (“it’s okay it will be over soon”) one of my kids told me after we left the room along with eye rolls) this is not the first time we gotten an attitude about seeing/adopted a cat from this location- don’t bother seeing the cats with your kids they will act like you took away time from there lunch break. I also don’t appreciate the worker rolling her eyes at my 5 year old that was helping us decide. Not going back, will adopt elsewhere. I encourage anyone who’s had an attitude about looking at the animals there to put in a complaint cause this behavior is ongoing and really brings down the mood.

Great store, but please don't order any more of the Top Fin Automatic Fish Feeder brand because they are a very poorly designed product that does not even work. If I went away without testing it, my fish would be dead. There is 1 button, and 1 switch with 2 settings. There is no way to test it unless you wait the 12 hours, and it still doesn't work. No way to test it, no timer to set.You have to wait 12 hours. So full of rage that I am telling eveyone to never buy one of these. Please don't sell them at your store anymore.

I love this store! It is always so clean and stocked when we go in. The animals all seem loved and well cared for while looking for forever homes, the tanks are always clean and food is always in sight. Customer service is always great here. The workers are always smiling, always willing to help with anything and are all very knowledgeable. Just a great place to get your pet supplies, live plants (including my favorite, MOSS balls) and possibly a new forever friend!!

I went in to look at some animals and never have I seen negligence like this in a pet smart, I get these are feeders but this is no way to keep your fish let alone the cleanliness of your tanks.

This Pet Smart has always been my go to for hamster supplies. Recently I went there to find myself another hammy friend. They had a little Syrian who was up for adoption and I took him home. He was up for adoption because he was caged with another Syrian and he ended up killing him. Very sad thing to happen and could of been easily avoided.

I went in after I decided to rescue and essentially take in and take care of a hurt pigeon. He still enjoys being wild and I allow him to be free range as the apartment I'm staying in, I'm also renovating. He's really awesome! But PetSmart definitely helped me find what I needed for him! They have a pigeon/dove feed that I couldn't find but the employee was able to help me find it. And I couldn't find it anywhere else. I love pet stores like this!

i bought a guinea pig from here and he passed away 3 weeks later. vet said it was likely caused by the way they’re treated when at the pet store, and what they’re being fed.

Their prices on cat wet food, dry cat treats and cat litter is always $1.75 to $2.50 more, each, then places like Meijers, Walmart, etc. If their prices keep going up, I won't be able to shop more there anymore

During pandemic it was hard to get some brands of cat food, but now the shelves are stocked well! My cats need Weight Control food & it was very hard to find- I think it is all solved now.....Today there was only one person at the checkout and 5 people in line, and 3 other blue shirt workers doing piddly stuff....

Brought my border Collie pup in for his first nail trim and grind. The 2 staff in the grooming area that I Interacted with were both very friendly. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and were very patient and gentle with my pup. I would definitely return and pay for the service again.

We were able to find everything we needed in this one visit. We are getting a new puppy (after losing our wonderful dog of 11.5 years this winter.) So we are starting over from scratch in the dog department. The staff was incredibly helpful-making suggestions and offering coupons. Will be back-highly recommended!

We regularly take our puggle for a furminator bath and nail trim to the Bay City Petsmart and are always happy with the results. Today we were extremely pleased with how well Kota groomed our 17 yr old fur baby. We will be asking for him in the future.

They have a tremendous selection of inventory to fulfill most if not all your pet needs. Also, they have an acute selection of small pets and reptiles. Didn't get the 5 star because you can find some things cheaper elsewhere, although they do price match.

Great store, clean, well organized, friendly staff. They have a great selection of harnesses which took me and my dog probably an hour or so to try on different sizes and take test walks through the store until we found the right fit

I love coming here and so glad that they have usually what I'm after in stock! Friendly staff greets you upon entering, the store is clean and well-stocked, and the creatures within are vibrant and healthy. Just purchased a Premium Black Crowntail Betta today and he's stunning! Worth the price for such a gorgeous fish.
