Just love this store! With the drive thru to pick up dog food, it's a tremendous bonus. The people are always knowledgeable, and often entertaining! A pet store directed at dogs and cats, it's refreshing to enter a store that is not overwhelming, welcomes pets on leash, and invites conversation. Hopes for continued success for this gem in a world of big chain stores.

Our 3-year-old Lab had consistently high liver values. We tried a couple of rounds of antibiotics with no success. I read about The Scoop food and we started it right away on subscription. The vet wanted a blood draw in 3 months. Along with the dry food, we confirmed low copper amounts in an acceptable wet food. I also gave her a 2-month round of Sam-e and milk thistle. At her 3-month blood draw today she had fully normal liver numbers! I believe the low copper food did the trick as her previous food was more than twice the recommendation for copper. She loves the food (granted, she's a Lab!) And we feed it to our Corgi as well. Thanks for a great product! There's no reason such a young dog should have had high liver numbers and we took matters into our own hands. Still not sure the vet would have steered us in that direction. Thanks, Scoop!!!

Scoops is the go to place for all of your pet needs. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I have even received a ton of dog food samples and a free pet carrying bag to store my pet snacks, toys, and other dog supplies in the event that I have to board my little guy for a few days when traveling. Also, Scoops has probably the only dog food that is copper free.

This place is so clean, and inviting. The young lady that works there is very nice, and helpful. Plus good quality food. I use Diamond care sensitive stomach and skin for my dog. He suffers from allergies to dog food with Beef and dairy. This is the best food for him, if he didn't eat this he would itch himself to death. The price is fair.

Wonderful pet food store! Irena is very knowledgeable and will go out of her way to help you with your pets' needs. She's easy to talk to, has lots of dog care background and can help you get just the right food for your dog's needs. If you haven't been there, go!

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A locally owned pet supply store. Check it out. If you buy your dog food there, they will trim your dog's toenails for free. Lots of different types of food. Will help you choose the proper food for your pet. In addition they will load bags into your vehicle if you like. Plus have a drive throu. More businesses should be like this one . I go several times a month. Never once have I had poor customer service. I hope they are around for along time.

Very Helpful! The woman who runs this shop is AMAZING!! She is so helpful and genuinely interested in helping to find a solution for your pet. She has so much knowledge and if she doesn't know, she'll reach out to the vet who own the place. ...and bonus, can we talk about the drive-thru pet food pick up! This is the best... when my daughter is sleeping in the car I can just pull through the drive-thru and let them know what I need and they fetch it (see what I did there) and load it into the car. Great customer service and some amazing products that you can't find at the chain pet stores.

Love The Scoop! They are all very helpful about food, training, toys and tips to help you and your pet. I feel good buying food from their store knowing that they stock only the foods that a vet would recommend. Our dog has some special needs and I felt they set us up with the food that was right for him and as he grew, they helped us find the next step of food for his body and type. His coat is so healthy and shiny!

The lady who runs this is so good and helpful. She knows her business. They also keep what you buy on computer so if you cannot remember what you bought she can look it up. I also appreciated that she carries my order to the car if that isn't enough, they have a drive through.

I stopped in looking for something my dog would eat, very particular eater, the staff gave me two choices to try and gave them to me free of charge in the hope he would like one and I would become a regular customer. Unfortunately he didn't like the choices but they did get a new regular customer. True pet lovers.

There are lot of dietary dog food. They also have regular Diamond dog food for a good price in the back. The employees are knowledgeable and care about your animals' needs. They have a drive thru too.

It's a well upkept place, has a drive through, but it's a specialty dog and cat place. So if you treat your animal like your very own child, then this place is for you. I own parrots, and there is no bird stuff. My star rating is my bias for parrots.

Called at 10:30am to verify their hours and was told they would be open until 1pm. Drove a half hour from Kalamazoo and arrived at 12:30pm to find them closed..... 2 hours after they told me they would be open.
