We told them if he was going to be difficult having his nails trimmed, then don't do it. Instead, they butchered him and didn't even tell me what they did. I found out after I noticed blood on the back seat of my car and a trail in the house!

We ADORE Katie T and she always takes excellent care of our Abby and Lucy! People are delightful there, friendly and pleasant, it smells fresh and clean, and our dogs look and smell wonderful when she’s done with them!I took off a star, only because the cost is a bit high for this retired couple.Highly recommend.

If I could give zero I would. The very rude lady refused to sell goldfish. I don't understand how I can't buy 4 goldfish for a 5 gallon tank when they have crowded tanks that are close in size.

It’s pretty messy in here and it took quite a while for someone to come to the register to check us out. My biggest pet peeve is when a store makes handing them my money the most difficult and time consuming part of my experience there. I recommend Pet Supplies Plus over this store.

I was a little taken back that 30 crickets cost over 5$. I will continue my usual visits to Pet Supplies Plus in our town.I’m always amazed that there is never more than 1 register open. Doesn’t matter what’s going on at the register or how many people are waiting. The manager can walk by and still never has a 2nd register open. This particular time a gentlemen was returning 75 $ worth of cat food that the cashier needed assistance in doing. And we all just waited and waited.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to my dog. I wish I would have gotten the young lady's name that helped Abbey (chocolate lab) she was very good with her.

I love Petco. Yesterday I stopped in and easily found the items I wanted. The check out person was so very sweet. She wore her hair in braids and cuter than cute and as sweet as they come. She encouraged me with the rest of my day. I look forward to seeing her again. Sometimes I just stop in to browse, or bring my grandchildren to see all of the pets you have. Love to shop there❣️

Not a bad Petco. It was kind of messy on the inside and some shelves were broken but we were able to find what we needed. The store seemed a bit understaffed especially at the registers.

I have tried since the beginning of summer to purchase ghost shrimp. I even added my name to the list to get a call when they get some in. Instead of stocking inhumane hamster cages I’d like to be able to feed my live animals. Sucks this petco is not being managed appropriately. I hope the general manager sees this and improves his or hers inability to correctly order what’s needed for customers. I saw the list. There’s a lot of people on there.

A young lady named Bree really went above and beyond with my need of a dog harness. The less expensive one was still tight on puppy’s neck/throat, and she showed me the multiple better ones, and how to put them on my puppy. Excellent customer service. She was great! Thank you Bree!

There was no leather roll dog collars at all and didn't have any of the type of dog food we feed our dogs.

The employees here act like they know everything about animals but they honestly don't know much about them. We bought some mystery snails and the lady told me that the mystery snails were going to die within 24 hours because they were going to be submerged in water too long and they would dry out. That's not the case with mystery snails. She also had no clue how to tell if there was a snail in a shell, which isn't that hard. I have had mystery snails for years not a single one has died from being in the water too long. There's been many occasions like this, this wasn't the only time. This is just an example. Needless to say the mystery snails are still alive after a week of being in the water.

All their leopard geckos had was one small hide with 11 geckos in it! And another gecko was to the other side of the tank! It was sad and sickly looking, sad to see this poor animal care.

I have gone to Petco in BC for dog training and pet grooming. Terri is very patient during training and offers feasible solutions. Katie is an awesome groomer. She takes excellent care of my dogs while they are there. She's definitely the reason I take both my dogs to Petco for grooming.

If I could rate it a 0, I would! One cashier, and product boxes on shelf that they dont even have in stock behind the counter. Waited in line for over 30 minutes to be told the item I brought them they didn't have in stock. Prices are over priced compared to TSC and Pet Supplies plus. I will never shop here again.
