This is the old-style grocery store. Offers a wide variety of all sorts, but stands out for having a staffed fresh meat counter for personal selection of steaks, ground beef, pork chops, etc. Their meat priced were actually better than big box and club stores. They also offer meat boxes at reasonable prices.Staff is always very pleasant and helpful, a treat to many these days.Highly recommend them!

I'll actually give this 2 reviews, because I briefly worked there.First, as a customer this place is easily 4 out of 5 stars, in a good way. The only thing really holding it back from 5 stars is that while their meat section is, somewhat notoriously, inexpensive, pretty much everything else comes with a...........not a ridiculous markup, but a very notable one that quickly adds up. Hey, their a private & local business, they gotta stay afloat here, so I'm not mad at them for it, but it does hold them back a little. Customer service is pretty much spot on. Most everyone here seems to keep a good mood and knows where most everything is making them very helpful.Second part here, as an employee. I worked solely in the meat department, never at a register. Clean, cut and organize the meat area and stock the nearby beer section. Tend to customers who request specific meats and that's mostly the job. Why was my time here short? I was transitioning in other parts of my life and even when I called in to inform them, several hours ahead of time, that I was unable to come in it was still put down as a no call no show for me. Following that, the second time it happened it was over for me there. Yeah, regardless of if you call or not they don't care, they operate their own way.

Not a bad place to shop. A lot of their products are pricier than you’d find at a meijer, but they’re local and privately owned. Can find most any staple item.

We love to go here! They have a wide selection of fresh meat at the meat counter. My husband always finds just the right one. They also make their own brats! Oh they are delicious. So many kinds to choose from. You need to go! A hidden gem of a store ❤️

Went here for previous reviews of the meat boxes. I bought the $45 meat box. Good amount of meat but the cheapest brands like bar s hot dogs and the hamburger was the tube kind with the 75 ratio. The breakfast sausage and chicken was not pre-packaged. No returns on meat boxes. I will not go here again, I will stick with Galesburg meat market. Friendly staff just disappointed in the amount of cheap pre-packaged meat.

Great neighborhood Market for needed products not usually available at most stores, yet most of what you need is available. Being new to the area,my husband really likes the store for it's location, products & convenience; we will frequent the market as needed, required & as available!

I shop here every year. They are open 7 days a week. Always greeted with a friendly smile. These people almost know me by name. Anytime I grill, this is where I go to buy meat and spices. Oh, you should try there line of smoked cheese, you won't be disappointed 👌👍

We went here to fill up our brand new freezer and were not disappointed with what we found. The box deals are definitely worth the price. We were very pleased with what we received, and the box deals were not the only thing at a great price. The cashier was friendly and even laughed when we needed a second cart. We did not check anything else out because we were only there for meat, but we definitely intend to next time.

The best meat market in Battle Creek. Buying in bulk is simply the best value around. Prices from individual items out of the meat case are unmatched in this area.

Great stop for lottery and meats. They have some good prices and quality cuts of meat. The pricing is excellent when on sale. Family packs of ground beef and others appear to be priced very fair. The selection of both fresh cut meats and frozen meats and seafood is very good for this size of store. The employees are always friendly and helpful, also.

The ladies are nice and tend to get you out of the store very fast even if they're packed. They keep it clean and they will have just about everything you will need for a cookout or just food for the family in the house. The butcher gets your meat done exactly like you want it and does it pretty fast while maintaining a clean precise cut. you'll normally be in here between 5 to ten minutes. They also have a large variety of alcoholic beverages fairly priced.

They have a nice selection stuff fairly priced for a small market. They also have an amazing meat counter with really nice butchers and they run great meat specials. Their prime rib is $5 less per pound then Kim and Lyn's, and they will season it for you if you want.

Went in to buy couple hundred dollars in meat early afternoon well before the 4pm cut off for cutting and basically got it thrown across the counter at me and was very rudely told they couldn't cut it and I would have to come back when asked to do so. Always had luck here buying in bulk, thousands per year, but never again after that customer service.

This store has a down home atmosphere friendly employees always willing to help the customer and have the best meat prices in the Battle Creek area ,so if you want to save money then go there and find out for yourself.

Walking into Bailey Park thriftway is always a good experience. The staff are always very courteous and polite to their customers and each other. The store is usually stocked and clean. I look forward to shopping at Bailey Park thriftway, it's a breath of fresh air. I give it 5 stars.

Best meat in town. Great prices, Great meat, Love their smoked cheese too. Butcher will help you pick the perfect cut of meat, tenderise it for you, wrap it to go. Great personal touch.

Been in west Michigan for 7 years. This was the first store that had all the local items from my old neighborhood. Awesome bacon! Friendly staff and lots of things to snack on.

I love Bailey Park Thriftway! Their meat department is outstanding! They will get you whatever you want, however you want it. Also, try the house made sausages ( Kryptonite) and you will not be disappointed!
