It’s my favorite spot in Baroda. I love being there. I’m never rushed and just enough ambient noise for my liking. The staff is amicable, on point. I have tried a lot on the menu and never been disappointed. They serve a nice portion and it’s because I love food I don’t let anything go to waste 😝Check this place out! It will charm you!

The food was decent, packaged nicely, and hot. I filled up more on the toast than the under seasoned eggs and potatoes. I asked for extra crispy bacon, but was unable to eat it because it was not cooked to my liking.

I don't even know where to begin! This place is fantastic 👏 👌 🙌 I had the mini Belgium 🇧🇪 waffles and bacon 🥓 you can't go wrong! I can't wait to try it all! I'm just super excited that there is a deliciously beautiful breakfast spot in the heart of country town with a dead-end main street. You really can't get any better than this! The service was spot on. Super friendly smiling faces as you walk in. Honestly, I never felt so comfortable and welcomed by a place of business and service. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area! Best way to start your day! Many more pictures to come!

A friend from town recommended this place, and I’m SO glad we stopped here. I had the seasonal waffle flight, and these were easily the BEST waffles I have had in my lifetime. So delicious. I also had a season maple butter latte and it was so tasty. My kids loved their smoothie, and husband loved his breakfast bowl. Amazing coffee options, and great breakfast selections. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this place deserved one for sure. It was a quick drive from St. Joe and absolutely worth it! Service was amazing and very friendly happy faces. Give this place your business!

This was our first time visiting The Local and we will be back. It can be difficult finding a great breakfast/brunch spot especially when coming from out of town. The food, environment, and service was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back. The excellent presentation doesn’t just apply to their drinks as their food is plated beautifully too. This is a must visit you won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere and food! Has a nice modern farmhouse aesthetic with a fantastic bathroom (Charmin toilet paper). Amazing options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks — including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Perfect stop between Chicago and Grand Rapids.

This is my favorite breakfast place between St. Joe and South Bend. Amazing food for amazing prices. Have told so many people about this place and/or brought them in for food, and will continue to do so. Everything I've ordered on the menu has been delicious. I especially love their waffles and the sugar crust they have, and I'm normally a savory over sweet person! Service is always very friendly, as well. And the coffee is great, which is a must! (It's from Infusco, a local roaster.)

What an amazing brunch place in downtown Baroda. All you want in your menú with a hip city vibe plus fresh ingredients. The staff is very nice. We ordered the omelette [wonderful and bigg], a breakfast burrito and TBLT and one of the sausage bowls. All delicious!!! Highly recommend with family, friends or alone for a quick coffee. The smoothies were delicious too. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely will return in Fall !

I stopped in for the first time today. I got a nitro cold brew with one pump of hazelnut. It is so cute in there, staff was so friendly, and my coffee was made in about 1 min. I will definitely be back for breakfast soon to try out the food.

Staff is excellent, food is above average as well.Ordered the Big Dan w/2 eggs over easy, bacon, bfast potatoes, sourdough toast, & blueberry pancakes. Also ordered cold brew cookies & cream and a cinnamon cold brew.Much of this meal was obviously farm fresh & cooked on a flat top griddle, just like it's supposed to be!

We love this place! Their prices are good, the food is amazing, and we've always had great service! This is easily my favorite breakfast place in the county, and I enjoy their lunch options too.Things I've tried and loved: breakfast burrito (my favorite), black coffee, Dan's Big Breakfast, Power Scramble, Berry French Toast, Baroda Bulldog, Southwest Chicken Wrap.Things I've disliked:Can't recommend it enough!

Delicious food! The French toast was so good I could just pick it up and eat it without syrup! The service was great and even the hostess was very friendly!The sausage gravy was very good. The only problem I had was they were out of biscuits... so I have to go back... but I am already excited for my next trip here!

This is literally the place to go, it's a tight squeeze of sunshine for breakfast! Whomever the cook is ...they actually are a cook! And it actually has real options for drinks, the matcha latte was perfect, one day wish to try the healthy smoothies! Stop by and eat then head to Grand Mere beach with your drink to walk the beach! Definitely a great place because I wrote this review having only been there one time today for the first time! So thankyou!
