This was my dogs first visit back to Berrien Vet since she was a puppy. That was like 3 years ago. I was very nervous because she is fearful and anxious, and not friendly with strangers. Dr. Chapman was very calm and worked slowly with my dog to complete her check up. She was thorough and answered all of my questions. She truly cared about my dog, and was so good with her and her needs. My dog is not the easiest patient because she is so nervous, but again Dr. Chapman was amazing. I left the office feeling relieved I have found an amazing vet who can give my fearful, anxious, but wonderful dog excellent care. Thank you Berrien Vet!

We have used Berrien Vet for years. They are amazing at what they do and we leaned on them heavily during when our Chico was diagnosed with Cushings. They are amazing with doing everything they can and referring to specialists when needed. The only thing that would take them to the next level is having after hour care for emergencies with existing clients. Currently, 2x2 seems to be the only local vet that offers that.

Compassionately cared for my ill senior dog. Recently moved to Michigan and needed immediate comprehensive veterinarian service to evaluate my senior dog. Called to inquire about being seen and they were able to get us in within the hour!Very kind and caring group.. I had to put my first dog Mattie of 15 years down. The staff was so friendly and made the experience a very peaceful one. There were tears and laughs and wonderful memories. They let us stay as long as we needed to after the procedure. We have been clients for years and I highly recommend them! Thank you ladies! We really appreciate it!

Times are changing. I have been going here for 15 years. Dr Johnson was great, never about the money. Dr Kiesel was so compassionate and wonderful. Since she left I have been to one of the new vets, she was great too. But the money.... wow.... $20 for a tech to spend 5 minutes giving your dog a $140 shot. (not enough profit in the shot?). If your dog is sick and you need an appointment that day, they call it an emergency appointment and charge you extra. One day when I was in there, they booked 8 emergency appointments... no one was staying late, they just charge an extra fee if you are desperate, even if they have openings. So far, the new vet seems nice, the staff has always been nice to me, but I think it is all about the money now. Looks like Vetcor owns the business now, maybe this review should be for them.

I love Berrien Veterinary Services. They are always so kind and sweet to my dogs from the front desk to the techs to the docs. They really want my pets to be healthy and are always up front about pricing as well. We had to have a beloved dog put down a few years ago, and they handled it so sweetly with us. I’m glad they have added vets so more people can utilize their services.

A few weeks ago I had to bring in my oldest kitty to be treated for an infection on her back. Not only was I fit in within a week, but also Dr.Lange and Dr. Andrews were extremely helpful and patiently answered all my questions concerning different treatments and was able to update my cat's vaccination records (which I didn't even realize needed to be given more than once). Her infection is healed over and her ears look cleaner than ever, and she's even starting to lose some weight since I put her on her diet! I am super thrilled with this clinic and will be bringing all my animals to come visit

Well I decided to go back to Berrien Hills Ray second opinion on my dog gizmo and I am so blessed that I’ve done that. It comes to find out that there’s things that the Doctor at three Oaks vet was having me give a very high dose of insulin to gizmo and also an antibiotic supposedly for his UTI. So now that I’ve got him back at Berrien Hills I am confident that I am on the right track I’m getting my gizmo back.

Berrien Veterinary Services is our go to place for all our pet needs. Unfortunately during covid we couldn’t bring our animals there due to no humans allowed inside during visits back then. But now we are back inside with our animals and we couldn’t be happier!Our new dogs are rescues and come with horrific abuse stories. It’s been a journey getting them to trust humans and they didn’t do well at the other place we took them during covid. Their first visit with Berrien Veterinary Services for an annual wellness visit was 5/15/2023. Here I was explaining all their sketchy behaviors and reactions to things yet during their exam they exhibited none of the bad behaviors they exhibited at the other vet. They made me look like a fibber! But this is actually a true testament to the BVS staff and how they handle animals with past trauma. I was super impressed!The our dogs saw is Dr. Chapman. She’s not all about business as usual. Instead she’s gentle, takes the time to gain trust before doing anything invasive and she is a magician with putting my anxious dogs at ease. I wish we could take her home with us! Even better, she took the time to speak with us on a human level. She listens well too. She even gave us a hug!We are pleased to have our animals back in the good hands at Berrien Veterinary Services.
