Didn't see anyplace else that matches their gas prices, several pumps were pay inside or the card reader was down. Looks like they have a small cooking area in the back of the store if you want to buy something cooked and not packaged.

Is not open till midnight! I arrived at 11:45 PM and the cashier ran up the door and locked it as I got out of my vehicle and she then stood behind the counter just looking at me. Clearly, she was more concerned with getting home as soon as she could or something that she couldn't even be considerate enough to let me know they were closing early for whatever reason.Me and my dog are Currently waiting forSomeone to bring me gas from marquette (over an hour away)since that is the closest place I know anyone in the area.

Road sign says open 24hrs, which is a flat out lie. Online hours say open at 5am but if kimi is not the opening employee god only knows when the store will actually open. The other opening female employee is about as bad as an employee can be. Why would you have the girl who can't get out of bed open the store only to come in and be completely rude to your customers? I sat in the lot for 45 minutes waiting to spend a couple hundred dollars and ended up going elsewhere since your employee can't show up on time. Also watched several other customers pull in and leave since your employee wasn't there on time.

The Pines always has the cheapest gas on this side of the UP. I've been getting gas here for years and never have I had any mechanical issues due to bad gas. The tribe owns this gas station, hence the low gas price.The convenience store has pretty much everything you would need, a large selection of snacks and beverages, a small selection of (frozen) hot food, super cheap tribal brand cigarettes and a huge affordable liquor selection. There is an ATM on premises that is always in service, no issues. My only complaint is the bathrooms. I don't understand why a place as busy as this has single seater bathrooms, one men's and one women's and they are not always the cleanest, BUT not so dirty you refuse to use it. Overall worth a stop to top off your tank and save your wallet!

They always have the cheapest gas in the area. Gas is still $4.50+ in Ishpeming and Marquette and $4.10 in L'Anse, but The Pines has had gas below $4 for quite some time. As of July 29, 2022, it's $3.79. It's not the nicest inside, as other reviewers have stated, but in my opinion, the gas prices make up for it.

Great place especially for fuel, meaning its usually the best prices around. Besides that it is a casual convenience store with usually just what you might need. Always ready to assist me, including coming out to the floor as well as always a friendly greeting.

Cheapest gas around because on reservation. People pull in different directions so their is no logical on direction to pumps. Some pumps don't work.

This place is not quite shown in the right location on the map... its a bit further north. Great place to get gas, Its TAX FREE on the Indian reservation. Be cautious with diesel prices tho, sometimes you can find better deals further along the highway, check your gas price apps first. Good selection of liquor as well, bathrooms are not bad.

Gas and cigarette prices are ok. But, my dad and I used to stop here from 1996-2002 and it was a real destination stop from the old again to the east (now a tribal police station) to this current location... Now it seems to be a "I need cheap gas" stop. I'll echo other reviews, avoid the bathroom's. Soda, chips... just get them elsewhere. Get your gas and go. Sorry natives, but you've lost a hot opportunity here.

Pines has the cheapest motor vehicle.fuel around. for many counties wide. I am not aware of their diesel pricing though.

It’s been our go-to stop for gas anytime we’re up by L’Anse or Baraga. The gas is and always has been the cheapest in the area. However, I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews pertaining to poor customer service and unprofessional staff in general—I can confirm that we have had those instances. That’s why I’m only rating it 3/5. Other than that, prices for gas and goodies are great and definitely recommend!

Usually a great place to be and the gas is cheap but today the attendant was super rude to me and my boyfriend. We came in and grabbed some beer for the 4th of July and some Red Bull’s for our long trip today. Once we got to the register he was watching a YouTube video and was basically ignoring me until I set my stuff down. First thing he said to me was “I can’t sell booze til 7..” in a bored rude tone. I said “oh sorry we didn’t realize” and he just stood there blankly staring at me. We eventually put the stuff back and just got the gas and Red Bull. He didn’t even say bye or anything. I mean I don’t expect much at 6:30 in the morning but a hello would be nice.

Great fuel prices. Perfect place to stop on the way out of town. A lot of the food and drinks do not have price labels. Otherwise, this is a great place to grab some gas and snacks before a long drive.

Cheap gas and it's almost a for sure stop anytime we're traveling but today the attendant couldn't even look me in my face while talking. The whole time it was like I was bothering her and she just wanted to talk to her coworkers. No customer service at all. I haven't had any issues that stood out like this until now. She has her hair dyed burgundy and and blonde now. But yea I could've did without the attitude ✌🏾

The gas is the cheapest around but not the best quality. You need to add heet all year around that helps. They are always out stock with liquor and other items. The clerks are wonderful and friendly. But are frustrated with lack of stock.

Over the course of four years of college this place has probably saved me roughly $150. Definitely the place you should be fueling up if you come through the upper peninsula.

Cheap gas prices but don't ever think that you're washing your windshield there because they never fill them. If you go inside to buy more stuff you will surely be treated like a piece of garbage. I travel 50,000 miles per year and this place could save me some money BUT i'd rather be treated like a human being and spend a little more somewhere else.

No longer open 24hrs. Used to be the good thing about the place. Now I'm hearing, because no one wants to work for the tribe they started hiring people at 12 an hour without giving longstanding employees any kind of raise (they make less than 12 an hour). Thought that was messed up. KBIC can't do business. They, sadly, are mean and suck at everything they do.
