This is for the Harding's in Bangor, which the prices are ridiculously high I don't have much choice some days but to have to shop here and throughout the year we have bought food that the date isn't expired but it was definitely no good. All were the Our Family brands. Most probably don't notice if they don't shop here regularly but we have gotten quite alot of food that has been no good over a year shopping there. Sour cream that was literally curdled. Milk that again the expiration date says not expired I always check and low and behold it is as sour as can be. Then we got a half gallon of apple cider that was no good ,half and half was like stinky cheese. Moldy mushrooms. The list goes on and it's really disappointing as well as frustrating we have resorted to get alot of stuff at dollar general. They updated the storea bit.But as most of can u understand I don't have the time and money in today's economy to be paying an arm and a leg for food that's trash and spending gas money to go back for a replacement and a sorry. The meat employees are very nice always helpful when they are there and if they don't have a meat out they will cut what you need if able. There's like two other employee's in the store that are older very nice and helpful Gary is one of them really helpful the other ones just have attitude and zero patience.

I was nosed in to the dentist's office which shares the Harding's parking lot.I was actually playing chauffeur today for someone who was having a tooth filled. The best time to go to the dentist is tooth hurty. So it doesn't make much sense why I was there from 10:30 to 11:30 and you are correct I should have got some shreds lettuce for my tacos while I was waiting for him.I could have been using that time for my repast this evening and now I stand before you, not behind you, to address you, not undress you, and to tell you a story I know nothing about.C'est la vie.

The staff is friendly and helpful. But the prices are unreal. I feel bad for the people in the community of Bangor who can't drive to other stores in South Haven to save money. And my biggest point is prices somebody is making money yet, the store gets no updates?!? The store hasn't been updated in at least 25+ years. The store looks dirty and not clean, not the place I wanna buy my food at. Prices wouldn't be as bad if you felt the money went to make the store nicer. Bangor and Harford Hardings should be ashamed of the dirty looking stores.

Employees are amazing, but the prices are ridiculous. A gallon of purified water from country fresh is 1.59 and the store brand 'our family' is 1.69. Company just enjoys jacking prices up.

I love the people who work here. Always a friendly experience. The products are somewhat overpriced but you can shop for deals AND I only shop there to keep from driving for 30 minutes to go to Meijer or Walmart.

Update: Still a great store. When I was in today I was told that they'll be getting a deli counter within a few months.Original: My first visit since moving to the area. Great selection of groceries, produce, etc! And a Recycling center inside. We came so we could try the fried chicken but there is no deli at this location. No problem, we got everything else on our list.

Harding's has always been my Grocery Shopping place! Although prices have gone up! The Store has changed everything around. My only complaints are I didn't find my favorite items I buy, Like, Not so sloppy sloppy Joe sauce in the jar, Brooks Chilli Mix in the Big Can and Hershey's Hot Fudge. I bought Smuckers hot fudge, I don't care for it, won't buy again. Other than that I Love Shopping at Harding's❤️

The people who hang out outside look a little scary sometimes but this is the best local store I’ve been to in a long while.Fast, friendly, and good about masks/distnacing etc.Gluten free and vegan options unlike most small stores. Plus some nice spices and “Hispanic” options.

I went to get cabbage there cause it's closer than Walmart but to my surprise the Cabbage was size of softball. I'm use to Cabbage the size of soccer ⚽ ball. So I went to Aldi's and was very pleased with size and quality.

Shopping while black and felt uncomfortable. One of the racist cashier got one of the employees with a baby. She was pushing the baby in the cart pretending to be a shopper watching and following me and my boyfriend around. When we got to the check out the cashier was giving me a dirty look while she was checking out my things and the pretending shopper came at the check out she didn't have nothing in her cart. I knew she was following and watching us.. Every black person is not a theif. I won't be shopping there again.

I love Harding’s Friendly Market. They always great you when you come in. There’s always someone to help you if you can’t find something. Nick the butcher will custom cut anything I need. Lastly they take your purchases out to your car. 👍

A customer was leaving he said have a merry Christmas I told the cashier what he said she said I thought he said have a good day I said no he said Merry Christmas so we joked about that thank you I needed that laugh. The store was clean in and out. The prices was great. Thank you

This is our closest Hardings. It is an excellent place to shop. The people are friendly, the location is convenient, the selection is great, and the prices are reasonable. Especially when they have items on sale. This is the type of store we love to support, because their focus is good service and making life easier, and they are good at it!

I live closer to the Harding's in Hartford however I choose to drive the extra few miles to the Harding's here in Bangor. It seems so much cleaner and the people are so nice and accommodating. Expecially like the young people and those with disabilities that you hire. Cashiers always remember to do my senior discount which I greatly appreciate because it sometimes slips my mind to ask about it. Thank you for staying open during the crisis and I will continue to be a loyal customer for you.

They are wonderful people to work with when you go into the store they're very kind the prices on their meat is crazy Sky High but other than that it's good place to go it's the only store around Bangor area sides Dollar General I like to customer service is excellent I would recommend this place to anyone and

Love getting meat there ,they usually have good selection and prices arent too bad on specials .I just wish they had a Hardings in South Haven but it's worth it to make the drive to Bangor Walmarts meat is about ridiculous.
