I work in a bunch of different towns. And this is one of the better ace stores.But what I see in every Ace, They are way over staffed. Stores this size dont need 15 employees it make the store feel crowded. Every ace I've been to has 4 employees to one customer.Thin the heard and lower your prices. Stop hiring kids that dont know the difference between a wrench and a screwdriver.

Always pleasant and willing to help. Update on my experience here. I will never walk foot in this store again. The child I was watching and I went in and was looking for a certain item to purchase. Couldn't find it, but wan attempting to ask for help. Either was completely ignored, or management was too busy talking and laughing with their friends that came in. We stood there looking at them for at least 10 mins. never was noticed once. I wasn't going to be disrespectful and interrupt them. And, that wasn't something that I wanted a child to learn to do. Needless to say, they knew how I felt about the store at that time. The only ones who actually asked after I said something were the cashiers. I used to love this store. But, the disrespect and not caring came out. Found out later after this that I wasn't the only one this happened to.

For a small town hardware, they are pretty well stocked. It’s easy to order something if they don’t have it in stock. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a little pricey, but is usually the best option to spending time and gas to go to Ludington or Big Rapids. I’m proud that our little town still has a hardware and am proud to support them.

They definitely have alot of things in stock. Paint, plumbing, electrical and more. Service is good. It's a little pricey, but it's convenient.

Probably the nicest, most well stocked store I've ever seen. Baldwin is very lucky to have such a store. Helpful people, and had everything we needed today to finish our job.

Great store that serves the needs of locals as well as weekend warriors like myself. They always have what I need it seems like with the exception of lumber. Prices are reasonable for a local hardware store and they always have several cashiers working so even when busy, the wait isn't very long.

Needed keys copied there. guy behind the counter was professional and all but neglected to give the original key back, which resulted in an extra trip to town to pick the original one up...wasted time & gas

You need to go here! Don't drive further than you have to, they have a HUGE selection of hardware, home improvement, cleaning supplies and seasonal items! You have to see it to believe it! Need a bird feeder? Go here! How about a shovel? Here as well! Tools? Yup! Paper towels? You know it! Dippin Dots? Yummy! Yes they do! Stop in...you'll be as amazed as I was!

This is definitely one of the best small town or any size town for that matter. You are able to purchase just about anything you could require and the service is unparalleled. I have stopped here at least six times this year, maybe more. Considering the ratio of employees to customers and other factors, I feel that I was well taken care of. As for pricing: if you’re building a new house, get quotes! Forgot one item? This place has #6 THHN STR wire in colors!) that they will cut for you. IF Lowe’s has it, they’re 24 miles away! This used to be a great store. Had been doing business with them for at least 2 different owners. Recently had a problem with the owner or manager. Kind of accused me of stealing . Then said no, Im not accusing you but kept product. Isn't that accusing me? Yes thats right no offer of a refund.They made an error ringing me up. I will not go back if im a "good customer". Beware they can bite, you might be next.

Needed septic tank enzymes they had both for paper and soap got both. I enjoy getting supplies here. Did plumbing and flooring with great help from employees
