The brisket sandwich was tender and very tasty! I would definitely order it again. The sides left a lot to be desired. They weren't awful, just different. I had the Mac n cheese and baked beans. The ice cream is absolutely awesome! There are so many flavors to choose from! The staff were very friendly. If I'm in the area, I would visit again.

Living in Texas has set an expectation of Texas BBQ which is rarely met outside of Texas. I needed some good protein after mountain biking and skeptically stopped and ordered "Texas BBQ". It was amazing!! Highly recommend! Texas BBQ has made it to the great state of Michigan!!

I've had bbq from just about every place from Battle Creek to Kalamazoo and this is by far my favorite. The brisket is outstanding as well as the Mini Fat Mike. My only complaint would be the limited hours/days of the week that they're open and that they're seasonal although I understand that if they need to do that to keep the doors open, it is what it is. I hope at some point they're doing enough volume to open a full time restaurant/pub in downtown Augusta. I'd be a regular there for sure.

Best ribs I've had in quite a while! My daughter loved the Mac and cheese. Great ice cream selection as well. Definitely worth the drive!!

Had the pork nachos because they were out of brisket. Very good and nice portion for the price. Will come back to try the brisket.

Great baby back ribs & Baked beans, Potato salad was good. Cole slaw was a bit sweet but also good. Had an ice cream cone while waiting for food which was nice. Super people working there but wish it was open some during week. Planning on getting more later.😊

Stopped in around 4:00pm on a Saturday and they are open until 8. We’re out of every meat except chicken. Wish I could rate the food but not able to try it. Disappointing!

Had a couple of shakes...they were really good. Like the ice cream. The pup cup was a little underwhelming. Whip cream and a dog bone doesn't really cut it.. Should have gotten a single scoop of ice cream instead for my dog. Overall though not too bad an experience. Will.go back again and try lunch.

It was ok I guess. Friendly staff. Ordered the sampler platter with all 3 meats they sell Chicken,Pork, and Beef. ALL shredded. Not really a fan of shredded meats UNLESS bread or a roll we're offered. 3 small sides the dilly potato salad was flavorless, really needed salt, maybe onion or eggs or celery???? Also the baked beans (with meat) were excellent but the meat was shredded and I was kinda wishing for hamburger at that point. Third was the BEST and our FAVORITE thing in the whole meal. The coleslaw. Kinda wish I would have just ordered a Large Coleslaw and some beans. Would have saved some $

I've had Mike's at catered events and the food truck and all were quite good. Sadly, a much different result at the restaurant itself. Ordered pulled chicken, brisket, and half rack. The chicken had no flavor and the brisket was so minced that the texture was terrible. The worst were the ribs. Dry, crusty, and so hard they wouldn't cut. The sides were fine but the mains weren't. Stopped there at 6pm on a Friday. Perhaps it had been sitting a long time. It was very disappointing and frankly a waste of money. Such a turnabout from my previous experience with catering and the truck.

We always come here for a tasty ice cream treat and enjoy the assortment of flavors. The summer time flavors are many and exciting to try. The staff is ALWAYS nice and friendly. Great job to the managers/owners for finding great staff. The young people are a pleasure.

If you have 30 minutes to blow for soft serve ice cream this is the place to go.Ice cream is good but the service is not something I will come back for.Good luck!

Went around 5 o’clock to try for the first time and was not impressed. Portions were small for the price and online menu was incorrect. Website stated they had beans for a side and when we get there it’s not available and completely taken off their counter menu. Meat lacked flavor and smokiness although it was juicy which was a nice surprise. Mac and cheese was clearly store bought with pepper added and no flavor.

They have the best BBQ out there. I go there regularly and not once have I had a bad experience. I highly recommend stoping by and trying them out. They also have really good ice cream and shakes! There Mack and cheese bowl is the best I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend going here. Service is also fast and friendly!

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It had a really light but good taste. It was very tender and easy to bit/chew - some places the meat is hard to bite into. The sauce that I asked for on the side was decent - I'm a picky eater so... And got an ice cream. Forgot the total price but it was very reasonable. I live in Galesburg so I'm sure I'll drive over and eat there again. Side note, there were only two younglings working so it was a little slow, but they were doing their best. Glad I found a new place to eat. I'm not a fan of driving to Kzo and going to all the big name restaurants. They should check out PublicSq. Thanks!!

Fat Mike's has been a family favorite for several years, now, and we are thrilled with their new brick and mortar location. We particularly love their chicken, brisket, and Fat Mike's Special; but have never been nothing short of thrilled with anything we've tried. If you love supporting local businesses and enjoy high-quality bbq, I cannot recommend Fat Mike's highly enough.

Fat Mike's catered my backyard wedding reception and to say it was a hit is a huge understatement. All the guests have been raving about how great the food was and friendly Mike and Abby were for weeks now! They were great to work with as I planned our event, responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. They even worked with our Maid of Honor to prepare to-go meals for us to eat after the event was over, which totally saved the day! We'll definitely be finding a time to visit Fat Mike's truck again soon. Highly highly recommend as both a caterer and as downright delicious food.

Outstanding bbq and the kids will love it because of the ice cream. Really friendly people. Community oriented. And despite what that certain nerds have to say, the Thai bowl is awesome, because I understand that a bbq joint isn’t going to sell authentic Thai dishes, but can appreciate the food for what it is.

I bought a bbq pork sandwich and the sauce had no taste to it. The coleslaw was also bland. The only good thing was the Mac and cheese. The meal was not worth 10 dollars in my opinion.

Grabbed a couple of brisket plates with 2 sides and took them to the wife at Ft. Custer Rec. Area.The brisket was FRICKEN' AWESOME!!! So was the Dilly potato salad and the spicy slaw.Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

As a family we are always trying new businesses and supporting small businesses. The food was good, served hot, staff is very friendly. For a Michigan bbq joint they’re great, you don’t find a place that serves any good southern style bbq around here. The closest we could find is Barrett’s smokehouse. So I would say Fat Mikes is worth a try. My husband had the brisket, our son had a brisket Mac bowl, and I had a pulled pork sammie.I would of loved a little more bbq on mine however I still ate it all and found it really good. Sides however weren’t our absolute favorite, beans were good, Mac and cheese was good, I didn’t try the slaw but my husband said the potato salad was just ok. Remind you again, we’re always in Mississippi and no one does BBQ like The Shed, But Fat Mikes is a great Michigan bbq spot and something new and different for the small town of Augusta!!Will we go again? Absolutely!Great job team!

Mike and Abby were great to work with for my daughter’s open house this last weekend. They made the planning process easy by offering tons of menu options and advice on serving sizes. Mike set everything up the day off making it easier for us to focus on other things. The food was absolutely delicious and guests willingly took any left overs we had! Portions are INCREDIBLY small for the amount you pay. Pulled chicken sandwich bowl was not good. Walking nacho was pretty good but way over priced and the side of baked beans was in a container that literally was three bites.

My friend and I went and got dinner at their trailer when it was on Drake. We each got the pulled meat on Mac and cheese. It was great! She was very friendly and there were alot of options. We will be eating there again.

food was cold, when brought up to the lady she told me that’s just how it’s sold. wouldn’t recommend the food :(EDIT: yes did get full refund, but still not good food.. wasn’t expecting room temperature food for $14. just being honest. but yes did get full refund which is nice for sure.
