Me, my wife and daughter just got back from the rib cook-off that you guys had. I've eaten ribs from many different places and without a doubt, the ribs I had from your place were the best ever! My wife doesn't even like ribs and she almost ate the whole rack. It was my 7 year old daughter's first time eating ribs and she loved them. The cook "John" was really friendly as well. I should have gotten 3 racks. I hope you guys have the rib cook-off more often.

My wife showed up and asked for deli chicken as there was none in the case and was told they ( deli) close at 4p. After letting the worker know that it was only 3p, she was told that they were not going to make anymore. The question I have is do they make "x" amount and when sold out they are done, or should they continue to make chicken til 4p?

I love a small family owned business.I'm local. This market does help and is convenient for travel.I noticed today while shopping that the inventory is low. And a lot of items are super close to expiring. If I didn't notice the expiration dates at the store I would have been super disappointed when we got the groceries home.I did notice a slight upcharge for certain items as well.With the economy the way it is, I get it. However I wish the convenience of shopping here expanding into the prices, good deals, membership deals, updated inventory 🤷

Their turnovers work on the all or nothing principal. Way too much icing or none! They only need a squiggle of icing to enhance the pastry, and not be overpowered by it.The turnovers are excellent, except for the icing being overdone.

Staff is incredible! Always friendly and more than ready to help even if you don't ask for it. 🙂 It has been an adjustment since changing ownership however I personally am seeing many improvements but think there are still some tweaks that need to be made in regards to products that were previously carried. Input is welcome and for the most part has been become an available product once again based on request. I really like a lot of the new products that they now carry. It's my go to store and plan to keep it that way!

I would give it a full 5 stars if the lady who was rude to us was demoted back to a clerk. My daughter and I used to go here quite often. We never complained about the prices because if the owners are the family I think they are they support lots of charities, especially for veterans. One lady who gave us a fake name got mad at me because my card had problems scanning and asked for another which I did not have. I recommended trying a verbal authorization and she freaked out. I said you know what its sad that we never complain about the prices like others but you wont try to figure this card issue out. She yelled she is calling someone so I said never mind don't call anyone we will go and wont return. We don't want trouble. She is somewhat sarcastic and grumpy all the time I see her there. She is not a good customer builder, but everyone deserves to work. I will say she should not be a manager. I called back one day to see if someone else could let us return and she got the phone again and gave us a fake name and fake number for the owners. Like I said if this is the family I think it is your money is reinvested back in the community with those who need help. Spend your money here with a clean conscience. Unfortunately, we are under the ban!!!

Little expensive but normal for small town stores. Occasionally have good sales. Love their homemade sausage. I go here when I don't feel like driving extra miles to a bigger store. Good for quick meals when short of time.

As a man who loves to grill (I grill all year round) I really appreciate having a local butcher.I also love the weekly sales.Since it seems everyone on town shops here, the meat never has a chance to age on the shelf, they are always bringing out fresh to restock.

I have been going here for years and years. Yes it has changed names in that time and yes I still call it "IGA" but it's a great place. The folks that work there are great and many of them have been there a very long time. I love supporting my local grocery store too!

I love this store!! I’m in the Auburn store a few times a week. Rachelle always greets you with a hello and a smile and everyone is always happy to help you. The owners make themselves visible and work right along side their employees. The best part is the small town service and being able to shop quickly unlike the big stores which takes hours then you stand in line another hour. I have never waited a long time in line here. If a lot of people are waiting they quickly open another lane even if it has to be by one if the owners. The store is always well stocked and their prices are very competitive. I have been shopping here for 38 years and I love my Auburn Food Center aka IGA. Thank you Auburn.

Great local store! Personal staff & mgnt, have what I need, deli is great in a pinch w hot food too. Dollar deals are good bargains & they have nice cheap cards & wrap. And not a crowded hectic store but busy enuf to keep the deals & selections coming...now go & try their meat dept too!!

Best chicken in town served hot in the deli. The same deli has a broccoli bacon salad that is devoured every time I leave it in the fridge. The meat bundles they offer keeps the freezer stuffed with high quality everything.

the store is always clean, the prices on some things are a little higher than other stores. The meat is always good and I like that they make their own sausage and other meats. The people employee's are always polite .

This place is a joke. Always smells horribly in there. The bottle return machines don't read for anything and the manager does not care, doesn't want to fix it, and was very rude and not helpful in any way. Every person there is ALWAYS so rude and grumpy and you can tell they hate being there. Ill take the drive to saginaw or Bay city just to avoid this place....

I like the store I just don't like the prices everything in there is way more than anywhere else I mean a lot of the regular stuff is pretty close but they had only one choice for ground beef and it was $4 a pound for that ground beef and they didn't have that many selections as far as the poundage you know it was just ridiculous I wanted some spaghetti on but I wasn't going to pay $4 a pound for the meat

I am disappointed to see that workers are not wearing masks. I wanted to check out the promising looking wine section, but two men who appeared to be working were having a conversation with no masks at all. One wonders what other health and safety regulations are being ignored.I was also bummed to see that the old sturdy plastic bags have been replaced with tissue-thin bags. What could have gone in one or two bags is now in three or four.

Great little Spartan - Nash supplied grocery store very close to the Bay City Western High School. I believe it is important to support local businesses and they are a great resource in that area. Again, it is smaller than Meijer but very reliable and dependable for what you need. Highly Recommend.
