Awesome beach! Free parking, a toilet, and a really nice sandy beach with no rocks or shells. Quick walk down the dune to the water. Couldn't ask for anything else.

Nice beach on Lake Superior. Easily accessible the beach is also connected with the outlet of the river. The water is generally shallow, though can be sometimes rough if there is a strong north wind. It’s a great place to stop and hang out!

A great place to spend a day on the beach. The AuTrain river meets up with Lake Superior. The river is a perfect swimming hole. Good for people of all ages. There is plenty of parking, ADA accessible pit toilets. The most unique thing about this spot is the bridge that you can jump from into the river.

Awesome beach spot on Lake Superior. Ample free parking, right off the highway. Plenty of space to spread out. An area by the river that is slow and shallow for small kids. Plenty of big lake for everyone else.

Great beach , not crowded. Can get a big 38' RV back in the parking lot, but no desegnated RV / trailer parking. We parked in the lower lot because it was empty.

Always a gorgeous beach to visit; the sand is always clean, swimming in the lake or Au Train river is fun for everyone, and the vista is beautiful. Highly recommended

What a gem of a place! Disguised as a rest stop from the looks but take the stop and enjoy the incredible beach and swim able waters as it’s close to an inlet. Not many places like this for swimming in Lake Superior. The beach is fun fun fun! There’s a bathroom and a picnic table. We stopped to cook some pancakes for breakfast.

The Au Train Beach is very enjoyable for its beach and scenery looking out onto Lake Superior. In summer time it is fun in the river from the M-28 bridge to Superior experiencing the large differential in water temperature.

This beach is a blast! You can either swim in the cool Lake Superior, or the warmer River that flows into it! There's bridge jumping, some trails to follow, overall it's a great experience

Beautiful beach and it wasn't at all crowded in mid-July. There's a great swimming area where vthe Au Train River flows into the lake.

Kayaked out and back to Scott Creek and crossed the hwy on foot to Scott Falls. Be careful crossing the road!

We have so much fun every time we come! The view is gorgeous! The sand is pristine! We love doing the AuTrain plunge off of the bridge! We always bring a picnic and blanket and spend hours here. There is beautiful river kayaking just down the road and a nice little store to get refreshments or souvenir shirts.
