My experience at this veterinary clinic has been nothing but wonderful. I can tell they genuinely care about my dog, and they are very thorough during exams. It is not expensive, I was pleasantly surprised when I got my bill! They are also very prompt with calling about test results, which is great when you’re worried about your pet. I would recommend this vet to anyone and will definitely be using their services again and again.

Greatly Appreciated!!!💞Update!!!! 😡Our Foxy Girl got hit by a car & it was after hours..😭😭😭. Called the office then called Doc a few times leaving my name and number... He still hasn't got ahold of us only to email about her shots!!!💲💲💲 Unfortunately she passed away on my husband's lap in the middle of the night!!! 😔Found a new Vet that cares about your Babies..🐾🐾.(A lot Cheaper) Promised Joker that he will never have to go back also!!!

Called to inquire and they set up an appointment without my permission or me knowing. They never tried calling me in regards to the matter, just charged me a bill and let it collect interest until I finally hear about it 4 months later, because I moved. Again, not one phone call was made to me. Then when I call, the lady on the phone told me to shut up and be quite. I knew there was a reason I didn't take my baby here. If they treat people like that, who know how they treat pets. The customer service givin today is sad.

I called the clinic last month to get my dog in for an ear infection. I was told the vet was going to a wedding and would not be there the rest of the day not would he be there the next week. I said ok and proceeded to find another vet. They billed me 59.00 saying I made an appt. And I did not. They said I conformed the appt, I did not. DON'T GO TO THIS VETERIAN CLINIC. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF ! ! !

I cannot recommend a veterinarian clinic to anyone after they would not even look at my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after she was hit by a porcupine. I called their clinic that night because they give an emergency number and nobody would call me back that night or the morning. So we took her there and they would not even look at her and said they did not have time. Shame on them for claiming to love animals and then treating a hurt animal in pain like that!!! I was disgusted needless to say! So we went to Switzer Veterinarian Clinic in Alpena and they took excellent care of her and treated her like a princess. I am still appalled at Atlanta Vet Clinic and very grateful that Switzer Vet took her immediately and did a great job.

We have used Doc for 8 years now - with the dogs we had when we moved here and now our current two. The tests and diagnosis are always explained in detail. The clinic is well equipped with things like an eye pressure test for glaucoma. I would recommend Atlanta Veterinary Clinic.

Make sure you get a quote before you let them spay your kitten. I was shocked to pick up my 6 month old kitten after getting her spayed to have a bill that totaled $676.11 and I got a hefty surcharge of $20.28 for using my card to total $696.39. They were so kind to have run very EXPENSIVE bloodwork that I didn’t request!!Sad part is, I had planned to be a lifetime customer with my other pets as we just recently moved to the area.My fault for not getting a quote first, don’t make the same mistake I made!!!

I’ve always heard good things about them. I wasn’t terribly impressed today during our puppy’s first visit. He spent the whole time talking and didn’t even give me chance to ask my questions. He’s a bit outdated in my opinion on certain things. He didn’t even examine her or tell me about her condition. I had to ask about her weight the. He had to feel her a again to tell me. The only pro was the price. Very reasonable for everything but I don’t think I should have paid $45 for an exam he didn’t even do.

This man walked in the exam room and started firing questions at me and bossing me around without even introducing himself or taking time to meet my pet and put her at ease. When he spoke to me he said things like "Be quiet," "Stop talking," "Do it because I said so," and "I don't care about that," and he couldn’t have been more rude or disrespectful to me. Plus, he didn't tell me what he was doing before he started putting a needle in my pet, and then when I asked what he was doing, he told me to be quiet and didn't answer any of my questions, which really upset me. His "flattering" comments about how I was young and pretty were unacceptable and inappropriate on so many levels. This man is a sick individual who needs to take a good, hard, long look in the mirror and figure out why he thinks he can treat people this way. I will NEVER ever go back there again, and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being overcharged, degraded and disrespected by a rude elderly man with a God complex. Do yourself a favor and make the longer drive to a nearby town and give your money to someone else who will respect you and care for your pet. His retirement would be the best thing for this town, it's time to step aside and let the younger generation handle things.

I had to take my granddaughter's dog in for her because she had to work. She had him neutered there. I just took him in for recheck. When I was in there he had 2 vaccination and had a chip put in him. They were very kind to him and quick. He remember being there and didn't want to stay very long. He did greet them at the receptionist window. I feel they were good to him.

A little upset dr wants to put my dog on heart medication he didn't read her chart she's been on the for three years was on vacation had to call office six times over five days to get a answer about a refillI called the day after visit want to know why her shot was up in price office explain it was a higher dose she was nice a did a good job explaining

The staff and veterinarian worked efficiently together. My daughter and I took our cat in because he had worms. They did and exam, updated his immunizations, gave him a dose of dewormer, and a flea/ tick pill. Fair prices too.

It was our first time going to this vet but I'll tell you right now it won't be our last he was EXCELLENT 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 there was three or four things that could have been wrong with our dog who was a little 10 lb shih Tzu he new right away what it was without running any tests. All the staff was extremely friendly and professional !! Our appointment was at 2:15 we went in at 2:15 love this guy

Professional kind and loving care was given to my dog. She had breast cancer doctor took excellent care with my little Yorkie. She is just 12 years old and 6 lb. Her surgery took an hour and a half. When she recovered from the surgery and came home she was happy to be with her family it has been a week now she is very active and eating well she loves to go outside and play. Thank you Dr B

Great service, nice staff, the doctor is very good with the patients and knows his stuff! Reasonable fees. Last year, my previous Animal Hospital in Gaylord would not take an emergency euthanizing of my dog (their patient), yet Atlanta Veterinary Clinic took him without hesitation. Now I have a new pet, and Dr. Bungard is my forever Veterinarian.

Dr. Bungard and his whole staff are the most caring, intelligent, compassionate, wonderful people ever!! My family has been taking our fur babies there for almost 20 yrs and will continue to do so until doc retires. Awesome people and awesome Vet clinic. My chinchilla was very sick. Even though we had never been to this clinic, they got us in right away. My chinchilla had to be put down due to a tumor wrapped around his tongue, but the staff were wonderful.

Doc and his staff have treated four of our pups over the years .....and they deserve more than five stars. They listen to concerns, explain all procedures thoroughly, and make their patients and their owners feel at home. Fees are competitive to those of other vets in Northern Michigan, and those who have complaints need to remember that Doc graduated from one of the best veterinary schools in the USA. We also need to remember that pet ownership is an investment - and we get our investment returns in the unconditional love from those pets.
