L O V E D IT!!!My bf & I were looking for something nice to do on a Sunday that includes the outdoors. I’m a big animal fan, so this place was perfect for me.Entrance was cheap, less than 20$ as far as I can remember, and you get a cup for a few extra bucks that contains alligator biscuits, which you can feed to the alligators.Besides for alligators, there are also a few crocodiles, and many different types of turtles! You can walk around by yourself or join a tour.I recommend taking the tour. The guide was funny and helpful, and I’m sure my experience was this good thanks to him.I do recommend bringing anti-mosquito spray with you, since there’s a lot of water around the area. This is good for kids, families, and basically people at any age! There’s not enough signs that point the location of the place, so careful when you’re trying to find it. I put a photo of the entrance.

Absolutely lovely. Our tour guide was phenomenal and SO well versed on his animals. These alligators, crocodiles, turtles and tortoises are obviously very well cared for and loved.

We had the best time with our tour guide. Everyone was so nice and its pretty awesome that its family owned and ran. The Alligator show was pretty cool. Not a huge place but it was perfect for the kids took about 2hrs to do the tour and we got to feed the turtles and hold an Alligator and take pictures. So cool. We will return.

This place is amazing ! The kids will love it they also offer group rates on Groupon. Don't forget to bring extra money for food and pictures though. They will walk your family through and teach you about the alligators. They have little shows they do. The staff is super friendly as well. Great place to spend a few hours with the family.

It is small, but a lot of fun. The Godzilla and Medusa show was amusing and fun. Feeding the gators was a lot of fun too. I think the absolute best part was feeding the tortoises. You get to be right in the tortoises habitat; they appear to really like people feeding them and brushing their shells. My family and I really enjoyed our visit.

Um, yes!!!! If you're wondering if you should kill a few hours and $20-$150 (and $150 I'm talking average family feeding all animals, encounters and the whole gift shop, this place is not outrageous on prices) the answer is absolutely you should!!! Probably my favorite thing we did on vacation just because it was so cool and we learned so much!Staff was amazing, how did you guys find the most friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable people?? The only one who wasn't was the lady doing the animal encounters. But she wasn't rude, just quiet and reserved. Luckily we saw the corn snake Casper for our encounter and there was a little girl in the gift shop with another snake named Peaches who let my girls pet her and was a lot more friendly and informative so we left more educated on snakes, anyways!Almost every single thing was accessible with my stroller. There were two viewing areas that were not but I was able to see everything anyone on the upper level could just not top down. I did not mind.We went today, a Saturday in late July, around 1 pm and it was not too busy, no wait to get in and no wait at the encounters. The lot looked packed when we got there but it was totally fine and I hate crowds.Overall amazing place with high entertainment value.

This place happened to be a really amazing and unexpected experience. We stumbled upon this sanctuary on Groupon. We spent about 3 hours there. My children, ages varying 8-15, all had a great time. The prices are very reasonable, and it helps to continue the care for all these rescued animals. Prior to going, I read a lot of the reviews posted, and i think some of the negative low rated reviews kind of compare this place to a larger establishment, like a zoo. However, if you go and enjoy the place for what it is, you won't be disappointed. We learned a lot while also having a cool hands on interation. My kids enjoyed the alligator encounter, pictured is my 8 year old holding the alligator. We also got to feed tortoises, you get to do this while being in their enclosure with them. Great and friendly staff. We plan to go back again one day, and I recommended this place to friends and family. I would bring water and sunscreen, you're out in the sun most of the time.

This place is great. The staff is super cool, patient with kids and their questions. It's super informative. Changed they way I look at these creatures for the better. It's awesome that you get to feed the animals and you can even hold one of the Gators for an additional fee. Great place to create a memory with the kids or an unconventional date idea.

I loved this place, all of the gators here are rescues and hearing about their stories during the tour made me very happy that this place exists. Feeding the young gators was my favorite thing to do (I had no idea of the sounds they make) but I also really enjoyed the gator show and learning so much about gators during the tour. There were a lot of turtles and tortoises to watch and feed also. There were a great amount of comfortable shady spots to sit and watch and the gift shop was full of cute items. This will be an annual summer trip for me

Great place. Get pretty close to the animals and can feed some of them. They have some areas that need cleaned up from trash. And water needed added to some alligator areas because they were so dried up the alligators were laying in mud.

This place was pretty cool , it's not as big as you would think so for us driving the hour could have went either way to spend about 2 hours inside.. entry is fairly priced but it's really expensive to actually enjoy yourself . Everything inside cost money except to watch the one show they do .. for 2 adults , 1 teen , and 2 children to feed the alligators and take a picture with one was about 135$ .. the staff was great , very nice people all around the park and we definitely hope to go back again and let them earn that 5th star

We visited the sanctuary on 9/19 after I had been following them on Facebook for months. Let me just say, it did not disappoint. Alligators are one of my most favorite creatures and to have a place like this in our state is awesome. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming and answered all of my obnoxious questions. We got to see one of the employees interact with Godzilla and Medusa and it was not only cool to watch, but we had a lot of laughs as well during it. I love that they’re providing a safe and comfortable home for these swamp puppies (and other animals). The passion the employees had for what they’re doing there was beautiful. Lina was wonderful to talk to while we were there and I loved that she shared with us the story of how the sanctuary began. It was affordable and clean with so many alligators to look at and I learned many things that I hadn’t known before about these deeply misunderstood creatures. I can’t wait to go back again and take my kiddos.

Been wanting to go since the Sanctuary opened, just never had the chance. The employees are very knowledgeable on the subject of alligators, especially there special residents. The final show of the tour is as informative as it is entertaining. I definitely say stop by if you're in the area, it's a great place too spend an hour or two. Kids love it.

Absolutely fantastic experience for the whole family! We had a Guided tour from Cindy who was super knowledgeable and kind and was able to teach us a lot about all of the animals. We also had Phoenix got us food and took us in with the tortoises. Afterwords he took us and caught a yong gator for us to hold and on our way out was kind enough to get the redtail boa out for us to hold and see. Alex did an awesome educational show with their two biggest gators Godzilla and Medusa. It was especially nice of them to do the show seeing as it was just us there at the time. An amazing experience and definitely worth a visit!

This place was very cool. Entertaining and fun. My daughter loved it! She is 7 for reference. The "Godzilla" show was nice to watch. The guy doing the show was funny and smart. Also very talented. He need to put a tip jar out so people give him some cash. He deserves it. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an entering afternoon. Feed the Gators and follow the tour person. She was very kind and Uber smart :)

Seeing the alligators, turtles and tortoises was exciting. The kids loved feeding them. We weren't able to stay for the show but the tour was engaging and fun

This was so much more than we expected. We had a tour guide named Cindy who led us through the whole place. Then we had Phoenix who was nice enough to get us food to feed the tortoises and got out a alligator for us to hold and pet. And as we were in the gift shop getting ready to leave Phoenix came back with a red tail boa for us to hold and pet. And we had Alex that did the Godzilla show even though it was just us. He still got in Godzilla's enclosure with him and his girlfriend Medusa and did the alligator presentation show for us. This is really an awesome place You should check it out.
