This place was great. I spent the afternoon there working on research for my book while my husband was on a sales job. The chai latte was awesome, the couch cozy and the staff very welcoming. I got a lot done in a perfect environment. We ate handheld pot pies afterward and took a half of a 4 berry pie home. Delicious! We will be sure to come back again when we're in the area!

Hands down the best place to get carrot cake, I could eat just the topping alone. If pie or cheesecake are your jam, they've got those too and they're all delicious. I highly recommend Achatz.

Unfortunately no exception from the American businesses, where profit comes first - overpriced.Having spent half my life in each, the the old and new world, I have witnessed that the mark-ups are much higher in the US, and that quality falls short at the same time, also due to a lack of good recipes, lost in the Atlantic Ocean, I assume.Especially the pie shells bear witness of an industrialized food processing; I cannot otherwise explain such shells. Btw pie shells ought to be made from yeast dough.Often people give great reviews, because they don't know any better. My American wife was in awe when we had pies and cakes in France and Germany - out of this (new) world, for sure.

Great food, outrageous prices! I purchased milk and had to return because it had turned! They refunded, but condescendingly said I was wrong, it hasn't turned; it literally made me sick!I purchased another milk and it was fantastic! Listen to your customers!

"Oh my goodness" delicious pies: fruit pies, cream pies, pies with a side of ice cream...unrivaled in the area. Works of art. A must go to if you visit the area. There are homemade soups and a full coffee bar selection. Welcoming atmosphere, temperature controlled and outdoor seating.

I've been buying homemade pies from this company for years. As soon as you take your first bite, all you can imagine is that it was made, by hand, from Grandma in the back. I found out that they have a local location where all their home-made pies are made right here, at one of their 8 local locations. I've watched them grow over the years, so stop in and take a pie home and find out why. Awesome!

The quality of their homemade pies are beyond compare. I miss the larger pie they used to sell. It was the perfect size to have for holiday celebratìons. But that is the only thing l have ever been disapointed by. The shoppe is adorable, and service is always friendly and effeciant.

We've been coming to Achatz since Wendy started selling pies out her kitchen door & then the flea market. This is the best location of all. Great selection & friendly staff. I always get a slice of pecan for the ride home & a seasonal pie for home.

We had an awesome experience the other day here. My daughter wanted a slice of pie and the girls working here were so helpful hooked us up with a fresh slice because they didn’t have one in the case, I also ordered an amazing iced coffee and they even suggested the awesome milk in the glass bottles now we are hooked and will be back almost weekly for it! Such sweet people and such a good place we love our local businesses!Thanks 😊
