We come here every year with my family & now, this year, brought my husband, his parents & brother & our new puppy ! This place is so welcoming & friendly. Always great staff. Great prices. Yummy hot dogs & snacks in the gift shop. Great selection of trees! I love cutting the tree down with the hand saws & they're always sharp enough to handle the job! And then the hay rides & horse carriage rides out to the fields & then back in with the tree. This place is one of my favorite Christmas traditions ❤️🎄

We’ve been going to this tree farm for about 4 years. The 1st 2 years we were very happy. Last year and again this year the selection of trees was very poor. They only had 1 tagged for every 10-20 that were not tagged and you couldn’t pick from them. We found several that we wanted but they were ‘off limits’. Once we finally found something and settled for that tree we told them we have the marriage saver tree stand…you know the one that requires a drill. Guess what we got it home and went to put it up and it’s not drilled even after we told them we needed it drilled. So not happy with the over all experience the last 2 years…especially for the cost!!! We will not be going back.

Been going to this farm for more than a decade. We showed up this year in UTVs and didn't know they were not allowed. The staff let us on the property. When we were parking some Lunatic (guessing the owner) came flying down the the little driveway at excessive speeds and yelled at me like I was teenage boy destroying the property (I'm 40 years old). I had a 4 month old and a 3 year old with me. Pretty bad experience for an over priced "you cut". We will not be back. Next time train your staff before treating us like animals. We are more than happy to follow rules but first your staff needs to know what they are so we know what they are.

OK tree farm. Very nice people. All of the really nice trees were $40 extra so you're looking at about $125 for a nice fir. Spent about $100 on a meh tree...don't plan on returning. Barely fills the spot. Should have went to Blakes.

Used to go here to get my Christmas trees the place is a joke now they tell you you can only cut tag trees which are junk and it's an extra 40 bucks to cut a good one don't recommend going there and wasting your time

Staff was the friendliest group of people. Took great care of us, explained everything we needed to know. Love the place, it was our 2nd year and very pleased. We tell everyone that wants a real tree. Thanks again.

Been coming here for 6 years now. Very disappointed at the selection this year. We ended up leaving without a tree after walking the entire property front to back. This was also the earlier we’ve ever come. Either the trees are too small to be cut or they’re not tagged. Definitely need to work on their rotation and keeping a selection of more mature trees available.

Unfortunately would not recommend visiting this year. My family and I went today and left without a tree. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a cute store with snacks and drinks. Even had horses pulling the wagon. But NO trees! They only allow you to cut trees that are tagged. So many beautiful trees but we’re not allowed to cut them. Lots of people were leaving without a tree. Not sure if it’s always this way but this was the experience this year.

Whole family has been getting trees here for years. Always friendly and helpful, nice Christmas atmosphere. Great family run business. Trees are very reasonably priced. Several different varieties of trees, they will shake, wrap and drill your tree (for tree stand) for no additional charge. They always have Santa visit in their log cabin filled with lots of Christmas decorations and a penny candy shop.

First time at this tree farm and wont be the last. My family and I plan to keep coming back for a family tradition of getting our christmas tree here! Not only do you have a variety of trees to choose from the staff really cares to make sure your comfortable and you can tell that this farm appreciates the trees they grow. This place is family friendly and the energy of the place really makes you have a true YOU CUT Christmas experience. Tree prices are fair. I always say quality over quantity. Even coming the week before Christmas they still had plenty of beautiful trees to choose from and I am happy to say we found this beautiful place to start creating a family tradition.

They are very friendly and efficient! We told them what kind of tree we were looking for, they drove us right to them on a tractor- trailer. We cut our tree down, they shook it and wrapped it. We loaded it and left. Great place..! Will go again next year!

The tree farm was beautiful and the gentleman who drove the tractor was very helpful. He drove us around looking for the perfect tree. When he contacted the owner to help us he was too busy but pointed the driver in the direction for us to look as our last resort. We found our tree and asked the driver if it was ok if we cut it down and he said “yes” but we would have to pay an extra $20. So we cut down our tree, loaded it up and went back to wrap it up. We unloaded it only to be yelled at by the owner for cutting down a tree he did not approve of first even though he sent us and his employee in the direction we went. The owner of this tree farm is lacking in the Christmas spirit much needed this time of year. We will won’t be back!!!!

Western's Tree Farm has been a family tradition of ours for the last 13 years. We love that the farm is family owned and operated. The staff is absolutely superb and our Christmas trees are phenomenal every year. Our 18, 20, and 21 year old children love the fact that they got to cut down their own Christmas tree they have already said this is where they will bring their children to carry on the family tradition of cutting down their own Christmas tree every year. They have a Log Cabin gift shop with a large fireplace, hot chocolate, cookies and Santa Claus is there too! They also have wreaths, grave blankets and crosses, kissing balls, porch pots and roping. You cannot beat the selection of trees as well as the price. We purchase our tree on the weekend of Thanksgiving and keep it up until January 7th. The trees are healthy and smell wonderful, we have never ever had a bad tree from Western's Tree Farm.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but selection was mediocre at best. Opening after Thanksgiving would make it much easier for me to beat the overzealous tree choppers and pshycos who put up their trees before Thanksgiving.

Went there yesterday to get a Frazier fir. We were able to drive out and get our tree. I asked first if it was alright to drive since there is a review here saying you cant. The fellow explained that a few weeks back when it was so muddy it would have been a muddy mess to let everyone drive around. I have bought trees there before and never had a bad experience. They also shape their trees as they're growing to keep them looking nice. I went to 2 other tree farms this year and Westerns put them to shame. Family owned and nice to deal with.

This place is great. You park, walk to the front, get on a hay wagon pulled by tractor or horses. You can saw your own tree down. They match the tickets to make sure you have the right tree. They are really friendly and helpful!!

One of the best tree farms in the Thumb. We started visiting about four years ago and never stopped. They offer wagon rides, some pulled by horse, others tractors and tie your tree, drill a hole in it, and you can get warm by the large fire place, grab some cocoa and visit Santa in their quaint Christmas Shop. If you haven't started your Christmas tradition yet, at Western's, start this year!

Been a family tradition for close to 20 years to come here and get a tree, wreaths and other decorations.Bunch of family and friends came every year. Used to love the place. Not anymore. Changed everything. Can't drive your car up and down rows or to different areas to look for your tree anymore. Got to park in one of their three parking areas which are away from any trees you can cut. Then you can walk forever or wait for one of the overcrowded wagons to finally bounce you into a field with the type of tree you like. Once there you'll find out that the only tagged trees are nasty, wild looking things they didn't even bother to shape or groom this season. If you do find a decent looking tree it won't be tagged so it's an extra 15 or 20 bucks. Nice little trick there. Lord help you if do find a tree and it's in the middle of a row. It's always good to drag a tree a hundred yards or so through the mud to the wagon pick up area right? And good luck trying to get any of the "help" to answer a question or do anything other than say " I dunno. Just work here". Don't know what changed here but this place is as bad as Krause Tree Farm down the block just before it closed. We won't be coming back.
