Had to stop after adopting a Whippet puppy just around the corner. They were wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. Puppy was car sick, they were amazing helping. Everything we needed was in stock, with great prices. If we weren’t from north of Grand Rapids we would go there. Probably live there.Highly recommend.

My favorite pet store in Ann Arbor! All of the merchandise has clearly been selected with care and thought. I am mainly in the cat section and can always find something new and fun. The section for dogs also looks extensive with lots of great finds. I would highly recommend coming here!

Great local pet store that sells high quality cat and dog food. I trust all the food they sell is good for my kitty and they have brands I love as well as some I can’t find elsewhere! Lots of great single ingredient treats and toppers for cats plus monthly sales. Love this place as a U of M student

Nice pet store, they have what I was looking for. They also had two cats to free walking around. I was only in for a few minutes so I can not give it 5 stars until I visit a few more times. The cat in the pic name is Luna. 😁

The Pet Emporium is special. You’ll not see anything like it around the area. All the people are very kind and helpful. It’s definitely a friendly place – for both pets and people. The layout is cool and always “very” clean. Let’s not forget, the product selections are unique and plentiful. Great place, I've been getting my cat food and litter from here for years. Customer loyalty cards, which get you $10 after spending a set amount. If you are looking for something and they don't have it, they'll order it for you if they can. Would recommend.

Love this small gem of a pet store. They always have those unique pet gifts from independent distributors along with most of the big guys. Their focus on animal health and pricing is what keeps me coming back.Customer service is always on point and available to help answer any questions. Make sure you say hi to Leo & Luna when your there, some of the friendliest store cats ever.

They were so kind and helpful! They have such a wonderful selection of dog foods, none of which were that normal stuff u find in normal stores. I dont actually live in MI, we were passing thru after visiting grandparents. I just stopped in because i wanted to get our dog a souvenir but we wanted to help local businesses instead of going to a chain store. Glad we did!

I absolutely love The Pet Emporium, its been one of my favorite pet stores for years. Its a cute, locally owned family pet supply store and they carry a great selection of pet things, including a really good selection of bird food and toys! The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and I always feel like I am leaving with the best choice I could have made for my pets!

I visited twice in the past week after adopting a 4 year old mixed breed dog from the Howell Humane Society. The dog has health problems and is very fearful, so I wanted to get in to pick up some supplies and get out quickly. Both times I was assisted by employees who were extremely helpful with their recommendations (Michelle and Jay). The dog food suggestions were particularly appreciated by me and my new dog Pixie.

Usually most pet stores are unbalanced in terms of cat/dog product ratio but this place is pretty close to being even! Lots of cool toys and furniture to choose from for cats!

Such a helpful place, purchased a bone for my dog that became moldy while still in the packaging after a week. I called and they were more than helpful on the phone, I came into the store and they replaced the bone within 2 minutes of me arriving. Such a great environment, very knowledgeable staff.

Best pet supplies store ever. Imagine Best Buy, but exactly the opposite. The super chill employees have a really strong understanding of everything they have in the store, and are super willing to help. They're really passionate about keeping pets healthy, and they carry very high quality food, most of which seems to be made only in Canada and the US. I'm really glad to support this family-owned business.

I go here to get high quality dry, wet, and raw food for my kitty. He is very picky, and the Pet Emporium has a lot of his favorite foods and treats. I like supporting this small local business over the big pet stores, and I like that they don’t stock anything that isn’t great for your pet. This is definitely my go-to!

Friendly staff with so many wonderful products for my kitty. It's nice to go in and pet their cats and see all the wonderful dogs that happen to be in that day. Staff is knowledgeable, and they have a wide selection of food, toys, products.
