Nice little place with very nice staff. Great to see the building redone if nothing else. Being the old European deli from when I was a kid. No kid friendly drinks or food really. So my daughter probably won't want to go back. Only thing she wanted there was a cookie. Whick was really good. And I honestly was hoping for a smoothie or something but they don't have anything like that.Kid-friendliness: There is stuff in the for kids to do but really nothing for them to eat or drink sold here.

Such a warm, beautiful and bright coffee shop. They have the best mocha latte I’ve ever tasted. Their blueberry muffins are on point! They’re not like many muffins, that tend to be a little over “doughy” tasting, with hardly any blueberries; these ones are fantastic! Highly recommend stopping into check out. Happy to see they opened and are thriving 😊

Absolutely phenomenal coffee shop. First of its kind in the area. I love that everything is organic and the baked goods are made fresh daily. The cold brew with cold foam is better than any I’ve ever had. The sourdough everything bagel was delightful, and of course I purchased a sourdough loaf to take home. Super cute outdoor area that is dog friendly was an added bonus! Will definitely be back!

Cute coffee shop! Today was our first visit. We don't live in the area and it was a 20 minute drive for us. The coffee was excellent and the bread was delightful, but the pastries were quite dry and a bit overpriced. I'm all for spending more on organic ingredients but a loaf of sourdough was $10, cinnamon roll $5.25, scone $4.00, and cookie $3.25. The prices are not posted anywhere inside the store or online. They also do not have a bread slicer for the loaves of bread, which was disappointing. I believe any establishment that sells bread should invest in a bread slicer. The service was slow, and the cashier forgot our bread until I waited patiently as she took care of 5 customers before even looking in my direction despite me standing there at the counter with a baby attached to my body.Overall it was a nice coffee shop with pleasant interior. If I lived in the area, I would come back for the bread and the coffee.

I was really excited to try this coffee shop but the woman taking orders / ringing me up was so unfriendly it was almost uncomfortable. The chai was ok. The cinnamon roll was delicious! I was surprised they didn’t have more than one flavor of cream cheese, so when I confirmed plain cream cheese was fine she gave me no cream cheese. I will say, the kids area was super cute. Went out of our way to bring our family here so I think we’ll just stick to our “home” coffee shop.

First time visiting this local coffee shop and first impressions were high. They have completely renovated the old deli which used to be in that space. Very inviting, with ample seating. I was promptly and warmly greeted and had a few of the coffees explained to me. I settled on a double shot espresso with some raspberry syrup. I really enjoy the brew. I will be back ago for some more coffee and to try their baked products. Keep up the good work. Although you can’t see the coffee, it was awesome.

When I moved to Almont 2 years ago I was bummed we didn’t have a local coffee shop. I was so excited when Good Grounds opened! Love their coffee and matcha, best bagels I’ve ever had, and my 2 year old loves to come with me bc there’s a little play area to keep her entertained while I drink my coffee! My older kids love their cinnamon rolls. I saw another review saying they didn’t have kid friendly options, my son would usually get a chocolate milk or hot chocolate but I noticed today they had smoothies so my kids will want to try those next time! Overall just love this place so much and happy they are in Almont and seem to be doing so well!☺️Kid-friendliness: Love the little play area with books and toys and that they have a kids size table.

Good, not excellent. There’s a chick that is ALWAYS making the coffee - tiny young lady who is always GREAT and NICE! But … there’s another woman I’ve seen work the register on Sundays who is sometimes a bit short and rude. The coffee and lattes are good - but not very sweet, more savory. The sourdough scones are good - but again, not sweet, more savory. The atmosphere is always hoppin - so u have to fight for a seat. Many times tables are taken because the kitchen uses them also soooooooooooo … seating is limited.Worth a try, everyone likes their cup-of-joe different … but it’s pricy and there are no prices on the menu so bring your credit card.

Friendly staff, fresh bread & baked goods. Lovely atmosphere. Adorable country themed decorations.Vegetarian options: I enjoyed a blueberry scone with coffee. And my friend had banana bread. We split both & they were deliciousKid-friendliness: A small cute play area for children with books, wooden toy trains & other toys.

The coffee is good. I just wish they had prices on the menu. They used to when they opened but this has since disappeared. I wish I could see the prices before ordering 🤷♀️ Otherwise they have a good selection.

I took my neighbor and grandbabies to check out the new place in town.I asked for 2 chocolate milks, blonde brownie and a muffin.I don't know if they are supposed to be healthy food or sugar free but they had no taste at all! I asked first my chocolate milks she said "I didn't make them yet". What's to make? Pour it out if a gallon... she put ice in a cup, poured some brown liquid over it then filled the rest with milk. What was that? Tasted like mocha milk water. The place was really trendy though, it needs to work on the bakery.New recipes.Kid-friendliness: Cute play area for kids.I just didn't like that it was next to the door. The little boy was given dough and a plastic knife.I did not like that around the young kids.

Love Good Grounds! Supporting local businesses, while enjoying a great cup of coffee. We utilize Azure as well and having the local pickup here is super convenient and we were excited to see the business also using the service.Parking: Lots of parking in front as well as behind.

We visited good grounds yesterday and had an amazing experience! Such an adorable spot to stop in for a coffee and just relax and enjoy. The coffees were delicious and the sourdough bagel was so fresh and yummy! I love that they have handmade sourdough snack options. They also have items from other local businesses inside which I think is very sweet and a great way to grab a little something extra while you’re in :)

This has quickly become my favorite coffee shop, not only is it the cutest one I’ve ever been in but Kevin and Darrien are the absolute sweetest and so are their employees! Their coffee and teas are so good, and my kids love their raspberry milk! Also their bakery items are so delicious! (Their bagels and muffins are our personal favorites)I love how family friendly it is with the area for the kids it’s so nice to be able to sit and enjoy my coffee while they are happily playing!

Very nice looking place and all but $12 for a medium size loaf of bread is insane. It tasted like regular sourdough and I understand it’s organic but that is an insane price especially for Almont. The prices of their other items including coffee are also very highly priced and the coffee is quite average. I was also charged $5+ for one small cinnamon roll which was quite dry. I hope they do well but a lot of adjustments will have to be made and hopefully their prices will come down one day.Parking: Have to park in the back lot and walk.

This coffee shop has set the standards high and is the only one we would drive 1 hour away to enjoy organic baked goods and coffee. No other coffee shop near home is like this one. This is a coffee shop that cares about their customers and ingredients. They use the best for their customers from the dairy, to filtering the water and they also have an air purifier inside which is rarely seen. My husband and I come here often. Their prices are reasonable considering the QUALITY and TIME they put into giving their best service. It's a process to make sourdough and to source their ingredients. I definitely recommend voting with your dollar and this place is one we do that.
