Last night I went into the Almont Dollar General store and there was only one person in there. I was there for few minutes and all these customers kept coming in. When I was there, I was surprised to see most of the shelves were stocked, no full carts of merchandise on the floor like most of the time, floors were cleaned, and more. I was surprised to see they got people who care about the place. Also, one of the employees who worked there who was a really good person was let go because of something that happened and it could have happened to anybody if you work in retail. I think the company should give this person another try at Dollar General. How did this person know that is was going to happen. Nobody does know or if it does happen because we are all not perfect. Also when we were there there was two young guys there and they were very helpful. These two guys are there most of the time. The one with the long hair is very nice and helpful should be Assistant Manager to the Almont Dollar General store and the other guy should be Key Holder. These guys work very hard when every time we come to the store. I think Dollar General should make these guys these positions right away because hard working people are hard to come by. The following guys that were nice and professional when we were there was Declan and Nather. They were great last night.

Store was clean, but staff was rude and was annoyed that I asked for help basically treated me like I was stupid!!!!! I am not from around here but I will avoid this Dollar general when passing through! I understand your busy but treat people with some respect or find a new job where you do not have to deal with the public!!!!

Employees are rude. Never stocked, full stock carts everywhere. Also the fact that your employees stand out in front of the store to smoke is utterly disgusting. Go behind the building and smoke if you’re going to smoke. People walking in the establishment shouldn’t have to see or smell that. If I could give zero Stars I would.

While they have lots of stuff, the store is a disaster! There is stuff all over, their out of a lot of things and they only had one person working in the morning??? Don’t you think if you went in at 6, you could get a lot of product out by 8 so the store was ready to shop and there weren’t carts down every isle? Also it helps if the people working there were a little nicer

Great new store, the store is actually very large and has a large selection of multiple items. From everyday household needs, clothing, auto supplies, and some of your basic groceries, as well as Pop and Gatorade Etc. The only fall back is that being a new facility the employees aren't all up to speed so it may take some patience waiting in line.

If the manager would spend more time inside the store than outside trying to be the parking lot police the store might look a whole lot better and not have carts blocking every isle and rolling her eyes at customers if she doesn't like something I've spent alot of money in this store since it opened she is rude and now I will take my business elsewhere

The store is well stocked & have neat things most employees are friendly, But the LOUD TERRIBLE MUSIC HAS TO GO!! , You walk in there its blasting away & depends who's working what type is on ! Also the handicap parking place signs 1 is off , 1 is just put on below post ..COME ON MANAGEMENT Most times you get nice employees that will help you out & say thank you witch is important!! BUT other times not !

This store is the worst Dollar General I've been too. Inventory everywhere; on carts in middle of the aisle, on the floor, never organized on the shelves. Never have I seen a worker actually put things away. Such an embarrassment and disappointment. Will take the extra time to go elsewhere.

Went the first Saturday of 2020., with a jan 4 only, $5 off coupon. The usual. Well. Spent $36, no discount. Only the greeting cards, which were discounted to start with. Never spending that much AGAIN. UPDATE. . Management keeps changing, so does the Quality of store. Hard working staff., always. .

Rude manager. Had to search the store for an employee and when I did finally find one she was so rude I took my business elsewhere. Hope they fail like everything else does in Almont.

The store has been a disaster for awhile now! It is messy and rarely stocked.The back stock Uboats are always blocking everything in the store, so you can't get around. Not to mention, they keep closing early.

DG in Almont...where to begin. Product everywhere. You can't walk through the store w/out having to move their carts out of the way. Employees are talking ALL the time.Store Mgr Ashley should NOT bethe Mgr. Rude to customers, vendors & simply on how she is presenting the store. The former Mgr Matt boy he knew how to get things done. I simply dread if I need to go into this store. Maybe the DM & RM need to visit this store & see what everyone else is seeing.

Friendly staff and good selection of items for daily needs. We live in town and don't have a vehicle so it's great that it's within walking distance👍🏻👍🏻

Staff is always friendly- and store is always clean; just watch out for aisle corner item spillage... Sometimes its best to not put merchandise out of it doesn't fit 👍
