Super disappointed as we drove over thirty minutes to find out they were closed. Online said 9PM and we pull up, all the lights were off and store was closed. A sign on the window with the hours until 8.Update 4/22 - business updated their hours through google to reflect 11-8PM.. came out on 4/20 around 7:45. Girls turned on the closing sign right at 8PM when we were in drive thru. Very disappointed at my “flurry” with M&Ms. Nothing on top of topping requested (M&Ms) but about 3/4 of the way down the candy was down there. They clearly didn’t do a good job of mixing this and I certainly Wouldn’t give this to a customer. I thought it was plain vanilla stirring and stirring looking for one M&M. For the amount it costs, it’s not worth it.

I always like supporting small business and this is a great little roadside stop. Their menu is pretty extensive. I got the grilled chicken sandwich for lunch and it was great, I like that you can customize toppings. The workers were friendly and I got my food fast. The picnic tables outside are nice. If I am ever back in this area I would definitely eat here again.

The tacos were pretty good. As always, that's pretty much. The only reason I come here. Me and my brother used to come here as a kid. My family has been going there even when we came back to the state for the vacations it was a destination. So yeah, the food taste really good. The service this time around though was absolutely lousy. The girl was snarky with me and seem to have a attitude, and I apologize if she has Asperger's or something along those lines. Although I would find somebody different for the front cashier. I felt like asking her what I was giving her a tip for? Because I was paying for the food already. And then when I ask for a refill, the girl looks in the cup, and I looked in the cup before I gave it to her, and it was almost full of ice. Then she tries to fill it all the way up with ice. That was a total douch'aye move. Enjoy your well earned review. It's a shame this place has fallen from its glory.

Nice local ice cream shop. Not much room on the inside to sit down. They had a lot of choices and the staff was helpful. I got their version of the peanut buster parfait. It was just as good.

they use to make excellent tacos.. then they changed to burritos which were just as good and worth the wait.. now no more tacos or burritos.. no taco salad.. so I ordered nachos OMG they were awful not only did it cost over $10 it was made with the hardest tortilla chips that can break a tooth with coney dog chili and add meat for Xtra $ 🤢🤮.. and yes the young lady with the dark black hair is incredibly rude.. she should not be in customer service at all anywhere. 👿

Was in there on Sunday around 3:00 for our first time and our last. Girl with black hair taking our order was rude. Repeated the order 3 times and she still got it wrong. Ordered shakes but actually given ice cream in cups that we couldn't drink through a straw. Stop depending on repeat customers and maybe you'll pick up some mew ones. Won't be back, BAD ATTITUDES

Response to owner - Out of my almost 90 reviews I have made, 75 or more reviews are GOOD . . Anyone can see that ;)Tried again and got it wrong 19$ and didn’t get our waffle cones . Also these are 3$ tacos?? . SmhOriginal- This isn’t the first but 2nd time in two weeks they mess up my ice cream order . I’m over it and done comming here to get ice cream I’ll go to armada from now on

My kids and I love the treats from this place, however, the consistent ATTITUDE we receive from the workers is unreal. Don't work a job that encompasses customer "service" if you literally loathe serving the customer. By the way, their menu literally HAS the doordash logo on it, yet they do not participate and will have attitude if you ask. Lol you just cant make this stuff up. Soooooooo unprofessional

I've been going to Charlie Browns since i was a little kid with my grandpa, I'm 30 now and cant drive through almont without stopping in for a bite to eat! They have great tasting food and the ice cream is always on point! Everything is prices fairly in my opinion which is always a plus in today economy, From the outside this unassuming place just looks like a barn and once you go inside theres not a whole lot of room but to me that doesnt matter its about the people who work there and of course The Food! Everytime ive gone in the staff is alway in high spirits and smiling while they assist you! Very good workers here and the place gives off almost a small mom and pop shop type of feel which i really enjoy! If there was one down side here id say its the lack of indoor seating but most people just order in the drive thru or eat outside anyway. To me a lack of seating isnt a big deal because i've always been the type to hop in my bronco and eat out doors with whoever I brought along to try the place out. Everyone i've brought here has been impressed with just how good everything is, Highly recommend this place!

We were looking for an alternate to DQ and the reviews looked good so we figured we'd give it a try. Burger was definitely frozen patty but it seemed off like maybe it was microwaved. Chicken tenders and fries were OK but could use some salt on the fries. The ice cream was not bad but the cherry dip was thin and had holes which leaked. The dip also had a wax like texture instead of a crispness.

The food here was fast, hot and delicious! I got the turkey sandwich and cheddar tots. Very high quality food for a great price. The ice cream was AMAZING. I got the sea salt caramel cookies and cream and I can't wait to go back and have it again.

This place is amazing! Great food, friendly staff. We pulled through the drive through right at 8pm when the kitchen was due to close. They still let us order hot food anyway! On Halloween at that! Great local gem❤️

I live right outside town and have been going here since I was 8, I’m going on 24 now and the service is nothing but awesome. Staff is always kind and friendly, food is always great (especially the Steak and Cheese wrap🔥) slushies and shakes are the best in town and it’s all priced very well. Glad to see them still standing strong after all these years.🙏🏻

Their food and ice cream is pretty good, but it seems like however it's being run now is being done poorly. I've also had some family who worked there recently (first time job type of thing) she didn't get paid for over a month and had horrible communication. She didn't end up accepting a job there because of how they ran things. They seem disorganized and unprofessional to me. Like it's completely ran and managed by a bunch of kids and that's it. Sad cause I use to really love this place. I tried them out for the last time today and ordered their chilli cheese fries and they stuck it in the bag side ways and there was chilli and cheese leaking out all over the place. Like what? Isn't that just common sense? I'm just disappointed, they use to be my favorite.

Go here or you will regret it. It's crowded for a reason! I love small town real ice cream stores. This one is also a full menu restaurant! For food or ice cream, there are a ton of options. The kids in back are quick and will get it out to you in no time. I have celiacs so I can't try the food, but they have a large variety of gluten-free Hershey's hard ice cream flavors! And of course a ton of options for soft serve as well. I ordered an ice cream cake for my husband's birthday - not a ton of options here, but the cake was good. Overall I would recommend this place.

Its really looking like it's no longer the Charlie Browns that we all loved. I have no idea why but the new owners decided to change quite a few things that kept people coming back over the years. The soft serve hasn't changed in taste but you get a noticeably smaller serving now and I point that out because it's one of the main reasons we chose charlie browns over DQ. You knew you were getting your money's worth and could order anything because it was all amazing prior to their changes.Their mozzarella sticks were something I'd stop in for just to get a quick snack but even those have changed for the worse so I won't be doing that anymore.It sucks to leave a negative review on a place that is a gem in our small town but I guess it is what it is. Hopefully they realize that changing what made the place is not a smart move

I didn’t want to leave this review and I first sent a private message. But no response seems there is no concern and that makes me concerned about other food safety handling practices. More than once we have stopped to get an ice cream cone and they have been handed to us bare handed. No napkin (none at all without asking), no paper on the cone, just their fingers on the cone that we are to eat. What really is not okay is the same person handling everyone’s money and credit cards is the one then grabbing the cone bare handed to give it to you. That is beyond not sanitary and not following food handling safety. We already stopped getting food there because of quality going way down. The wait times have gone way up but we try to be understanding with things like that. But now food safety seems to be lacked. This has happened over many weeks so owners/managers must be seeing it and not caring. No response from private feedback supports this. All has us wondering what else is going on that can’t be seen. A local family that won’t be returning at least until it is known food safety is in place and cared about.

I miss Charlie's tacos so much! I saw some of the posted pics & no those are not Charlie tacos. I miss the ones from at least 20 yo. Shame....I haven't been to Charlie Browns for 2 year & I'm not missing a thing. I just saw a pic of the Reuben in the review. That's not a Charlie Brown Reuben
