Just moved to town and desperately needed a dining table and some chairs. Called ahead and spoke with Ellen who so kindly let me know about the tables they had in store so I went on my lunch break and the table was just as she described. She also let me know she had a few chairs that didn't match in the back I could purchase. I bought the table and chairs and now won't be eating on a box while sitting in the floor lol. Melanie working the register was also very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back if I ever need anything else.

I like this store, staff are friendly but the mannequin displays are so depressing and dull. I have gone thru some hard times, am on a budget and come to buy clothes that will "pick me up" . Whoever puts the displays together is sad. Please turn it over to someone there that can dress and reflect colorful happy displays. Many of us need that when we come in. Thank you.

Great store with a great staff and wonderful items on the shelves. The prices are fair and reasonable. They sell some items online, which the items I tend to look for I would never take a chance to purchase without first physically being able to handle and inspect it by hand. But I'm sure it's fine for others. I have been a regular customer to the store for better than 10 years and continue to keep coming.

This is a very small Goodwill compared to others I've been to but it's so cool. Ruth is the greatest employee ever she's so cool and very nice. She's been working there for almost 12 years and I feel like she deserves a big raise . Bless her she's so kind and wonderful. Also they had 3 Sinatra cassettes so you know I bought all of them. The clothing selection was also really nice and they had a large variety of things to choose from. Changing rooms are also very clean

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a $20 chair after asking if they could help load it. I thought would fit in the back of my vehicle. Had to go drop a bike off for repairs and came back for them to load. They went and got the chair and carefully tried a few ways even taking the legs off, it was so close to fitting but in the end was a no go. I appreciated not only their efforts but the great attitude they treated me.

I love shopping at Goodwill, we go pretty regularly. The cashier that was training today made the experience awesome with his customer service skills! Was left with a bad experience from the employee who was restocking clothes, I went to hang up the clothes I had tried on that I didn't want on the hanger outside the dressing room and she yelled at me across the store to put it on some other hangers and complained to other customers about the hanger I hung mine on right in front of me. Not good customer service on her part and I probably would have bought more but we decided to leave right after that happened.

Okay selection, and it's nice that they're sorted by size. However, I've found some damaged items here and there's NEVER someone at the counter when I go to check out. I've had to wait five minutes before, awkwardly hovering around the counter. Other times, I've walked out without buying my one or two selections because the wait got too long for me. If you've got time to dig and wait for service, you can get awesome deals here- but make sure you have the time!

Always a nice and friendly staff! I definitely recommend swinging in if you go through work pants and cloths like i do bring a welder! I always get great deals on cheap cloths!

Not a very friendly store. I went in to look for wicker and the store is very dirty and cluttered. Staff looks like they are overwhelmed by doing nothing but standing around. Cashier didn’t say hello, goodbye, or Thankyou. When I called her out on that she was dumbfounded. Lol I don’t recommend this place. There are a lot of other goodwill stores that are more pleasant and appreciate the business.

The “manager” stood directly next to a cashier and talked to her while there was 10 people in line. He was rude to her and customers. He refused to help check out customers or call for extra help? I took photos to document the issue!! Besides that, horriable selection and over priced!! Move on!!

I shop here all the time. I typically find what I need at an okay price. The employees are nice and the store is typically clean. I took a star off bc I am not a huge fan of the company itself, and have to admit I do all my donating to more local shops.

Prices!!! Worst prices around Kent County. Individual prices on each item as opposed to whole racks of clothes for one set price in other goodwills. Old Tshirt for 6.99🤣 old ripped sweater for 13.99🤣. Staff is nice.

Like most Goodwill's the quality of their merchandise varies on the amount of donations they receive. they do have a large section of second-hand books, which as a middle school teacher has proved a nice way for me to fill out my shelves.

I love the Goodwill in Allendale, it is a very clean place and very nice selection of clothes, shoes and household items. Store employees are also nice and helpful. Plenty of parking, and handicap parking and easy entrance for wheelchairs as well.

I used to find a lot of good stuff here but it started getting really grubby.. lots of stuff with rips, stains, and fading.. lot of stuff you can tell was shrunk in the dryer.. made me wanna wash my hands when I left. Won't be back any time soon.

They charged me 27.40 and because the receipt didnt print they wanted me to do it again. I checked my banks statement and it went through! Now now i am out of that money and didnt get to get my items. If it is not there by friday they said to come back and they will go from there. But because they are all old do you not understand how a freaking bank works?? Jeeze. I will be back friday again. To "see" what they will be doing then.

I’ve consistently found unique items here. Additionally, this stor is part of the Muskegon region goodwill’s and I’ve found the prices to be better than Grand Rapids.

It was a big store, the selection was good but quality was horrible!!! They were selling dresses that had holes in it and when brought to their attention they didn't seem to care!!
