The service here was great. These wonderful ladies are not city girls and know their store! I don't know if any guys work here, but I don't think there are any slackers at this place. It is filled with almost every necessity a home or small farm needs to function properly except appliances, and that is a good thing. It is clean, neat, and organized. It is packed with practical products in the canyon like aisles. You do not have to be a redneck to shop or work here. I don't know how they do it, but most of the inventory is reasonably priced. Rarely, but every time I have not found what I was looking for, the staff would go online to help me find it. This doesn't happen often, but I have never left without a new solution if I couldn't find it there. The only thing that would make me happier would be a "Real American-made Products" section.

We love this store in Allegan. There is always someone to help us find what we're looking for. Brandon, the Manager, helped us trouble shoot an issue and offered to help us if we brought in the item we were needing assistance with. The customer service is so appreciated. Wow, we are blessed to have a store like this in Allegan.

Storm of 2024. A huge thank you to the team at family farm and home. Brittany was awesome as well as the rest of the team. They had our new snow thrower waiting at the store when my wife and I arrived. Their excellent service was so much appreciated. Great job folks.

Horrible store. They have limited goods. They are alot higher in price than their competitors. The staff are not helpful and lack product knowledge. And the manager, Brandon, is rude and abrasive when dealing with customers. Brandon also refuses to follow company policy concerning product returns. I was misinformed on two different occasions, by employees, when attempting to return a 2.5 ton hydraulic jack that I used one time and was leaking fluid and would not maintain pressure. I drove to the store twice based on what I had been told by employees only to have my time and gas wasted. Brandon created, on my second trip, new criteria that did not allow me to make my timely return despite my receipt. When I told him I would be contacting corporate customer service he taunted and laughed at me. I was humiliated. I will NEVER shop at that store again and I would recommend tractor supply or Blaines to others.

Family Farm & Home has been a great blessing to our family as we enter or leave the Allegan State Game Area. Lots of great deals from kayaks to home needs and backyard & farm tools.A huge thanks to the family who used to own the Quality Farm & Fleet stores back a few decades ago, thanks for staying in the field and launching these new stores. Poor very customer service, unfortunate this generation does not know how to treat people. Made a phone call regarding propane refills. Showed up with an empty propane tank, employee indicated they had no idea what I was taking about. I get it folks, but where is the empathy or the frickin’ customer service, that is long gone, say hello to entitlement!

My friend and I rode our horses through allegan and we stopped at family farm and home but had no place to put our horses so we decided to walk them through the store. The associated were super nice and friendly and loved that we brought our horses into the store. I would highly recommend this store.

"I was dissapointed"Not finding what I was looking for so I approached the Customer Service Desk located towards the center of the store. I asked a young girl for help, however she had no idea what I was asking therefore she went to get help. Now the girl she got also did not know what I was asking and simply said that they did not carry it, So I went to ask her if she could please search the store computer system with the only problem that she did not know how to spell and asked me to spell it out as she typed it on the system. Was just in there to look at carhartt coats I went to check out with one that the price showed 109.99 then it was suppose to be 15% off of that. The manager proceeded to tell me that it was an old sticker that the price is 119.99 and then she proceeded to say this is why they don't put sticker prices on things. Isn't this what you pay you're employees and managers to do is make sure prices are switched when it's needed? I can tell you this I won't shop here unless it's a dier need because of that. If you can't be honest and do your job and put correct prices on things where I won't know the price till checking out I will take my business elsewhere .

I needed a new chainsaw, deciding on a Husqvarna Rancher II. After making a phone call to another distributor, I was prepared to pay around $650.There's two other distributors that sell this brand closer to my home. My 1st stop was FAMILY FARM & HOME. Best decision I made.The staff I talked to was extremely knowledgeable & was only there temporarily helping from her base location. She checked the on-hand inventory & located the item in the back room (it did not have a spot on the sales floor).She informed me of a special EXTENDED 3yr FREE WARRANTY with the purchase of pre-mixed fuel and bar & chain oil, which I needed anyway. Next, I needed to replace the standard 20" bar & chain with a 16" bar & chain for the type of work I do. She assisted me in locating those items as well, then checked me out at the register.Total cost was over $100 less at FAMILY FARM & HOME than I had planned on paying for just the saw somewhere else.

The store is always clean and tidy. The people that work there have always been friendly. They carry a very nice assortment of products to meet every one's needs. Right now they have lots of holiday items out for Christmas, at a reasonable price.
