Last time I will go. I went to the self checkout after checking myself out, I was forced to wait until an associate reviewed the video replay of me checking out to verify I did it correctly. After being accused of not doing the job incorrectly that I recently acquired trying to purchase the items? I am a customer, not an employee, I have not been trained, paid, received a discount, or understand what the implications of the tasks at hand. I came to purchase items, not work, if the public won't do the work correctly try hiring someone to do the job. Not much to choose from? I will shop elsewhere. Thanks

This store is always out of food products and takes forever to get restocked and half the fresh sold food is already almost at its expiration date and most of the dairy products are eaither expired or about to expire because they never properly rotate stock this store eaither needs to close or be remodeled and under new management all together as I live in this town and it's the closest grocery store in a 15 mile radius without having to to to Chesterfield do better Kroger

Kroger prices are ridiculous any more! The meat counter is a scary place to visit, prices are crazy!Plus a lot of their sale items are out of stock, there's rarely ever any fried chicken and Deli lunch meat prices are way too expensive! Meijer meat is much more reasonable!

Managers are terribly rude, the staff is almost worse than the managers. There always out of stock on everything. Dirty looks from workers while your shopping. Overall the whole place is filled with rude workers. You’re not suppose to be rude to customers for no reason. Someone needs to call HR.

Just moved to area and this is only main store. I was not happy being there 2 times. The last time I was there out of 4 items I wanted 2 they didn't have..and they were basic food items. I got mad and left..went to Meijers even though it was a drive. This Kroger seems to have a stock issue.

Empty shelves. Store looks dingy. And last two times we got the rotisserie chicken we both got sick. Ridiculous long line with only 1 cashier.

The store is a mess. Garbage inside and out all around the entrances. Every cart had garbage in it yesterday 9/12/2023. I felt as if I were in the apocalypse.This is unacceptable in our community.I know this is the only place for many people to shop but unless something changes, I will be shopping elsewhere, long drive and high gas prices or not! Pure disgrace for the people of our community.The cashiers and the baggers/ stockers are great ( even though there only seems to be a few)

I've lived here over 20 plus years.. and I have never had an issue at this Kroger untill today. I'll honestly shop at Meijer or even vgs before I shop at this location again. It's manager has an awful attitude and I never felt so disrespected as I did today. Wow!!! Lost my business for sure!!!! According to the reviews I've read. Others suggested to not come to this location either.

I went through the self checkout area and was having trouble bagging my groceries and one of the ladies came over and helped me bag everything I bought. That was very kind of her because I am somewhat handicapped. I was so grateful that she took the time to help me! She deserves to be recognized as a valuable employee!

I really try to shop in the community I live but they make it so hard. Most recently the deli department I have been trying to buy fried chicken dinner for 2 days now the first day I get there and even thought they didn't close for another half hour they had no chicken or sides available. Ok no big deal try to get it the next day for dinner (Sunday) and this time I figured I would call and make sure it would be there and place an order if needed. Apparently they don't make chicken on Sundays. Isn't Sunday chicken after church a thing? Between this and the shelves always seem to be slim pickings we are just taking our business elsewhere. An extra few minutes of driving is definitely worth it in this case.

EVERY time I go to this Kroger's customer service desk there is no one there. Always have to wait 5 to 15 minutes.Also, they need to buy more of the small grocery carts. There are rarely any available. I'm elderly and have a lot of trouble pushing that huge cart around the store.

Great employees for the exception for a gal by the Name Mary H. This gal works on the front end & often wears a customer service manager vest. She has no manners with he remployees and have heard some degrading comments. Other than that not a bad store. I will say the Deli has the best chicken in town. Id's rate Kroger a 5 star but, the rude front end manager kills the store rating for me.

Local & regional managers do not care about stocked shelves, cleanliness, or bottle return machines which are always broke? Staff friendly when you can find them (service desk). . . ...wish it were still Farmer Jack!

Its a small Kroger so they do not have a lot of stock or choices. And, because it is Kroger the prices are higher than your larger grocery store. Usually have 2 lines open so you wait a while unless you are brave enough to go to the self checkout but can't really do that for your larger shopping trip. Also, lately they haven't had baggers the last month or so when I went. I'm not sure if I just picked the wrong days or something, but it does make the checkout process longer when everybody has to bag their own stuff. However, the pharmacy staff at this location is amazing. They are excellent. The store is usually tidy, shelves stocked and all the workers are generally kind.

I always shop late.....tonight I had a little more than usual in my cart and they kindly opened a checkout for me. Usually only self checkouts available when I get there. Very kind, helpful and friendly people.

They close too early. It's busier at 10pm than it is at 6am. Very difficult to shop in that last hour with everyone trying to get there before close and all the stock boxes in the aisles.

GREAT!!!!! The experience I had at Kroger today was absolutely fabulous!!! The people who work the register, and EVERY DEPARTMENT, are great people!!!! They are caring, very kind, co-operative, easy to talk to, and all around great people. They never laugh at you, they always have pleasant things to say to you, and they always have a smile on their faces for you, AND BELIEVE YOU ME, IT IS NOT USUAL FOR PEOPLE TO BE THIS KIND IN TODAY'S DAY AND TIME.🤗🤗🤗 I wish i could give each and EVERY one of the people that are so good to me a GREAT BIG HUG EVERY TIME I SEE THEM!!! They greet you as they greet everybody they see. And, this is so unexpected to me. I dearly love all of the people working there!!!! They do not have to be so nice, but they choose to be!!!! This makes a big difference to me!!! You all are GREAT, AND, PLEASE KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING AT THIS TIME. IT WORKS, AND MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU AND KEEP YOU IN HIS CARE. I have never experienced a problem with this store, I am on a local social media page where I read people complaining about various things but I must not be there on those days? Great weekly specials, digital coupons, and a very friendly staff. Great store all around

Clean store, nice workers. It can get busy on the weekends, so if that bothers you i would advise going during the week. They have multiple self check out stations that are really convenient if you're wanting to get in and out. The deli SUCKS though. They are so unbelievably slow when using the slicer it's almost comical. Then they don't put sheets inbetween the slices of cheese so when you get home its just one big lump of cheese fused together. I'm sure that they would put sheets inbetween if you asked, but they generally dont, which i really don't understand. And then they don't close the bags they just fold the bag over and sticker it. When you go to open the bag back up the sticker rips the plastic and now you have a bag with a hole in it that you can't close.

I’ve been very patient though out the COVID pandemic,I’m growing ever so tired of still not being able to purchase the goods that I need and why the fish /butchered counter is still closed?? Well sorry to say that I’m not going to Kroger any longer I need a grocery store that has the goods that I need and not have to make additional stops in order to get what I need and finding out that ALGONAC KROGER IS A LOW PRIORITY STORE !!! Worst grocery store I have ever been to. I have given this Kroger wayyyyyy to many chances for how horrible the experience is. They randomly close down the bottle returns whenever. Are constantly out of stock for numerous items, I mean half an isle just missing everything and don't even bother going down the frozen food isle, it's empty everytime. Pathetic!
