Went to get my hair highlighted two weeks ago, I specifically asked for someone with experience with transitioning to grey hair. I was out with Ally and assured that she was the best. Ally, the young blonde girl, proceeded to dye my hair all one color on the top after I explained to her that I just wanted some highlights/lowlights so that it would blend as it was growing out. When I got home I saw that I had two different colors and visible line between the top half of my hair and the bottom half. I called the salon and they did offer to fix it. They put me with the young girl with the purple hair this time and assured me she had the experience working with grey hair. She said she was going to put lowlights in and that should give it the dimension I was looking for. I liked the way she styled my hair but when I got home and washed it, it didn’t look any different than the first time, still all one color, no variation and not what I asked for ☹️ I have since contacted Mary and told her I’m not happy with the service and she has ignored my text. I really expected better quality and customer service and more experienced stylists for the $200 price that I paid. My advice, save your money and go to Engedi.

Fabulous blowouts at this place! I always leave The James Salon feeling great because they to such a great job! They use fantastic products such as Kérastase!!!! Absolutely love the atmosphere and positive attitude of everyone in the salon!

I cannot say enough great things about Stacia! Hands down the best hydrofacial I have ever had. She takes the time to really evaluate my skin and ask questions to ensure the best treatment and results. She ends with an amazing massage leaving me extra relaxed. My skin have never looked and felt so great since I started seeing her 2 + years ago. Highly recommend any service from Stacia!!

I had the most wonderful experience getting my hair done at The James Salon by stylist Morgan Vickery! The boutique was super fun to browse through while waiting, and it's in a great location as well. Morgan was AMAZING! My hair is super picky and tends to be difficult to work with, but she did amazing with it and perfectly got the color I was hoping for. Even though my appointment took longer, she never made me feel rushed and was incredibly attentive. Do yourself a favor and schedule some pampering with her!Services: Haircut, Hair coloring

What an excellent gem in the Ada village! My first visit was today! Mary, who scheduled my appointment had me so excited to give them try! Just genuine, welcoming. Arrived a few minutes early to explore the beautiful clothing and accessories on the first floor. Glad I gave myself a little time to shop. Mary, checked me in for the appointment. She's just awesome. Breath of fresh air! Morgan, my stylist came down (salon is upstairs) and we began to chat. She absolutely nailed exactly what I wanted with curly hair. She taught me a lot about curls. She was fun, attentive and kind. It was easy to talk with her about everything! Best experience from making the appointment to checking out. Excellent salon without the hefty price! Morgan is my new stylist. Already booked for Sept.

Beautiful salon! There is a boutique on the first floor with a great selection of clothing, accessories, jewelry, and shoes. The decor in the salon is gorgeous, the front desk is welcoming, plus I am able to enjoy a glass of wine during my salon services! Ellie has been working magic on my hair for over 3 years now. She always styles my hair exactly how I ask, if not better! I also love that she's able to flawlessly take me back and forth from dark to light because I like to change up my hair often (see pics). The other stylists there are also amazing and you can't go wrong with any of them!

Please avoid this business and Hannah. Hannah has been dying my hair for months and I always have dyed skin and ruined shirts from said dye. On my most recent trip, I asked Hannah for very light wispy bangs. I was told, "No. Since you have black hair it will look like you have three strands of hair." Not quite sure what the color of my hair has to do with bangs. She then touched up my roots with black hair dye, and stained my face and neck. When I asked her to remove the dye from my skin with stain remover, I was told, "Oh I can't find it but it's okay since we're giving you bangs." Hannah then cut my bangs. They were not wispy AT ALL, crooked, and just overall looked awful. I was so upset with the service I was given that I went back to the salon to talk to someone. I showed the two women at the front desk a picture of my hair and they both audibly gasped and covered their mouths. They agreed that it looked awful. Hannah never even apologized to me. Her "apology" was, "Well I'm sorry that YOU don't like your hair." The salon's solution to my horrendous hair was to have Hannah fix my bangs and to get a free haircut from Hannah. Why would I want to go back to the woman that ruined my hair in the first place? If you do go to this salon, please avoid Hannah. Just know that if you have a bad experience here, they will not compensate you for it.Services: Bang trim, Hairstyling, Hair coloring

Chris is an amazing hairstylist. I got my hair cut poorly and came to him after and he was so helpful. He told me what he was doing before every cut which made me feel so safe and comfortable after feeling so defeated from the last haircut. I would absolutely recommend him. I visited the salon for the first time today and was very impressed with the entire experience. I have an allergy to coconut which makes it very difficult to find hair products to use on my hair. Mary and Chris were phenomenal. Mary went out of her way to find Shampoo and Conditioner that was safe for me. Chris was amazing from start to finish. Full color is supposed to be $85. They charged $150 for dying the ends of my daughter's hair purple. And they didn't even mention beforehand that it was going to be more than the listed price. Charged extra for the haircut too. Don't go here unless you have so much money that you don't care if they double the price.
